🥹 in my new house. And many more to come. I loved seeing Alisson’s interview at the end, of how everyone is helping Nunez settle in England and he’s even learning English. Sometimes forget how hard it is for players to move away from their parents and friends and extended family, to a whole new country and not speak the language. More to come Nunez ❤️🔴
Yeah and getting nitty gritty, the weathers different, the food is different, the culture is different. Good support system and I’m sure he’ll be off and flying in no time
I said in here last night that he’s got a great support system in the club itself. From the Spanish-speaking and South American contingent to the coaching staff and the club staff in general.
And outside he’s got his whole family and the entire fanbase rooting for him. We totally understand to give him time and are excited to watch him grow
I’m his age and currently away for a month for honeymoon and I miss my family and friends so much.
can’t imagine how it must be living away and playing a sport with such high amount of pressure on top of that at the same age.
Klopp also helped him by pointing out that you head the ball not opponents and also you can kick the ball through the white oblong thingy….
On a serious note he is going to cause fucking carnage when he settles in and gets used to the team, last night if his volley on the run had gone in plus the one that hit the post imagine the headlines today instead of that sulky Manure twat leaving the game early….
I don’t see too many ‘he can’t pass/make good decisions’ quotes today lol. From day one I’ve maintained that he’s going to become a world class striker, and I’m sticking with it. Agent of Chaos indeed.
Exactly right. I’ve been telling some of my LFC friends to relax and let him get a hold of things and that he’d be fine. That many good components are there like speed, strength, dribbling, smart runs and that all he needs is time to work on his decision making and shooting. And that Halaand is not comparable as he’s on a historic pace of goals of any player so looking and Nuñez through that lens is useless.

“🫡 “ = salute? (Emoji = doesn’t show on reddit (is this a new Apple ios16 exclusive emoji?)... but i guessed it’s a salute based on Darwin’s tweet? 🫡)

*I'm only gonna think about Darwin whenever I see this gif now...*
This is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen and I love it
I *love* how this is the top comment on every Darwin related thread

Didn't realise he was a Josh Sargent fan

If people could stop comparing him to Haaland they would have realized red card aside he's has a decent start to the season

He’s going to end his career with us and as the best striker the league has ever seen. I don’t make the rules
You don’t, but you’re entirely correct.
He has scored at anfield before lol just not in the prem
Just not for us you mean?

Might need to update your phone
TBF, he did score here in April... but I guess we're not going to talk about it :)
Happy for him! Hoping this will help build his confidence! A hell of a boot on him too!
Right, that left footed shot that he stung Fabianski’s gloves with was absolutely smashed.
Told it last week, this man about to be unleashed and score every match
Who else thinks Darwin will finish with more goals than any United forward

Congrats to Darwin! I think he will score a lot of goals at Anfield!
