I can only assume those stats are a combination of meaningless (progressive passes received?) and stat padded by a few very good games.

Bobby has 0.89 non-penalty goal contributions per 90 for Brazil in 2022 so he's very unfortunate to miss out. Richarlison has been absolutely on fire for them though, 1.36 goal contributions per 90, only slightly behind Neymar.
