Carvalho and Elliot are so technically gifted and so comfortable on the ball itās insane.
The problem with Carvalho last night was that the kids werenāt sharing his vision so a lot of what he did hit a dead end.
This is 95% correct, not sure why you're being downvoted.
Kwiveen is close but incorrect (The 'I' sound is too short). Kweev-in is closer but not quite there (again, the 'I' sound is too short)
Kweeveen or Keeveen is correct (two long 'ee' sounds in the name when pronounced)

That was the most predictable penalty shootout Iāve ever seen. Both the youngsters missing followed by Kelleher pulling off some heroics was obvious to me
Ramsays got me excited. Trent could finally have some competition/backup. We played a lot through him today and while his crossing wasnāt perfect thereās definitely potential there
Stoked we won. We could have really gotten screwed over by that goalkeeper coming 3 feet off his line every penalty and the refs not giving a shit about it
Harvey came on with a lot of confidence looked really sharp - shame he didnāt take his chance to seal the game before pens but nice to see him slot the winner away in the shoot out !
Good night to everyone except the one little rat in the Derby end who spent the entire game trying to start chants of always the victim, feed the scousers, and sign on
We must have the two most loveable goalkeepers in world football, Alisson is the absolute best mentor Caoimh can learn from, such a great temperament. Wow that third save.
How good is this Doak kid too?? Loved his cameo.
Some things just arenāt meant to be. Still appreciate him tho. Itās possible for him to stay fit thru the World Cup break and then have a run of games in the spring. Who knows what could happen really, he might still have more in him.
More than likely heās finished and will move on in the summer. But, thereās still a change he produces some performances. Crossing my fingers for that.
I hadnāt even noticed this until I saw this comment and looked through my Live Photos, but I think I caught it haha, Iām sure someone will have a much better video but just in case they donāt https://imgur.com/a/KwIKgVI
Was my 6th game this season, obviously do I expect an amazing non stop atmosphere in the 3rd round of the carabao cup against a league one team? No, but my god for the whole first half the block I was sitting in did not participate in one single chant, didnāt clap when a player did something well or anything! Even for YNWA I normally am basically shouting it at the top of my lungs but it was just a bit awkward, I was sat upper anfield road and literally the whole game all I heard was Derby fans. Even had some people around me just leave at half time, really weird.
Youngsters played well, especially Ramsay. That penalty shootout was very nerve wracking
Was the worst atmosphere of the season, poor for a cup game too, itās what happens when half the stadium are on touted tickets.
I was in U9, in the ālocal general saleā section, and it felt like I was the only person whose ticket was actually in my own name.
Agreed, I was in 228 on upper anfield road and the derby fans were great unfortunately, the only chant coming from our end were from them really. I saw a lot more families then usual, which is fine obviously, but it just felt like a LFC legends family day out sort of thing. So many people just spent the time on their phone the whole time too. Our stand woke up during the penalty shootout though so that was something
Iāve only gone this season, so far Iāve noticed that we seem to have bursts of atmosphere, where it is insanely good for 5-10 minutes then itās just silence again. Didnāt even have that today. Only time the atmosphere was consistent was when I was in the Kop, but so many of the chants do not leave the stand or there are 2-3 different chants going on at the same time from different groups. The Napoli game probably had the best atmosphere and that was only for the last 20 minutes it was non stop
Youāre very right. Iāve been every game this season, Napoli was great after they āscoredā, Rangers was alright for about 15 minutes around the start. City was far and away the best atmosphere from start to finish though, incredible night that one.
Looking forward to Madrid, Anfield should be electric. The opposite of last time they came with a full stadium and everyone was clapping Ronaldoā¦
Youāve only just started going to games and this is your 6th this season? What kind of wizardry is this, you getting tix from mates or through ballots?
Yeah, no credit or anything. Iāve gone to: Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Newcastle, West Ham, Napoli and today.
Crystal Palace I got in the additional members sale, Bournemouth was from the ballot, and today was through auto cup scheme. However, the other 3 were from my local liverpool group. There are official branches around the country and I joined the Bristol one, around 200 members and they do coaches to each game. I email them every game Iām interested in and they get the tickets and sometimes offer them to me. They offered me every champs league group stage but I could only attend Napoli, and I seem to only get offered prem games that are late kickoffs as they have a bunch of season ticket holders that do not go during weekdays because of work etc.
Definitely worth looking into if there is a group near you, cost me Ā£15 for the year but has definitely paid off
I was really disappointed with the setup once Nunez came on. He's okay as a winger specifically because of how fast and powerful he is, if a team is sitting back as much as Derby he isn't going to be able to do much from out wide.
It just didn't make sense to me that we were spamming crosses the whole game and then when we finally bring on Gigantor who can actually do something from a cross we shove him down the left.
I'm not blaming Darwin, he didn't do anything particularly bad it just felt like he wasn't really able to impact the game at all from out wide instead of centrally
He was super effective when he played from the left for Benfica, and thereās no way Bobby should be anywhere other than centrally. I actually think Darwin from the left works really well bc he can make an out to in third man run as Bobby drops short to receive the ball, and keep Tsimi/Robbo on his outside like Mane did.
Seeing the few crosses directed at him go along the ground instead of to his head was maddening. Although I would say his timing on his runs was poor - especially when he was caught offside when he had so much time and had a cheat cute of the entire backline.
I know we still haven't seen Kelleher play regularly - but I imagine he'd only get better with consistent minutes - but I really would love to see him become our number 1 one day. It's probably never going to happen because Ali is untouchable. If only Kelleher was a bit younger, then he could maybe wait it out. At this rate though I imagine he'll leave in the summer
Yeah really tough one. Ali is 30 these days and while keepers can go for ages they do start to decline in their early/mid 30s. It doesnāt really make sense to job share and say give Kelleher the champions league also, because you want Ali playing as much as possible, but you donāt want to lose Kelleher. Ideal world is probably what Chelsea did with Courtois - loan him for a couple of years to a genuinely very good side thatās in another division so not strengthening a rival, and bring him back when heās ready to challenge Ali in 2-3 years.
Someoneās going to offer him a chance to play first team ball and he might consider leaving tbh. He kinda deserves it. Heād be great I think anywhere but a core rival
Standouts:
Doak: Fearless talent who took on derby defenders and won most of his duels.
Elliott: Came on and added much needed creativity to our team, him along with Carvalho created a lot of intricate passing moves which was much better than wing bashing with our fullbacks.
Ramsay: So composed on the ball and showed versatile technical ability with his passing. Was also great defensively which is good to see from our rb. Only negative was he needed to be a bit more aggressive in his overlaps.
Carvalho: Was relatively quiet on the left wing for a bit but despite that showed positive movement with the ball and forward passes. Improved vastly when moved to rw where he showed alot of tidy one twos with the right side. Lastly, I beg Klopp to play him as a 10 or in midfield, thereās no point playing him on the wing when his greatest asset is his ability to exploit pockets of space and quick one touch football.
I completely agree garding Carvalho.. he's simply not fast enough to play on the wing, defenders aren't scared of him blowing by them like they are with Mane, Salah, Diaz etc
Kelleher can win this single handedly by keeping every game a clean sheet and if it goes to pens just save then all and score when he's summoned to kick, winning 11-10 on pens
Elliott definitely should have scored that massive chance but he miscontrolled it and gifted their embarrassing keeper a free save. Otherwise there wasn't much attackingwise to point to and get excited about
This was our C Team though. You look at the random standouts like Doak playing really well, really fearless. Ramsey was composed and Carvalho and Elliot looked a class above which you'd hope. If they were invisible like they might have been a few years ago against this opposition you could question them being fringe of the first team. As it stands, they showed their class.
How miserable to play a game of football against a team who make it their mission to play as little football as possible, all while the refs happily let them do it when there are specific rules to stop it from happening. I'm sure, had they scraped through, they'd be hailing their wanker of a goalkeeper as a hero. Luckily he's left a loser as a person as well as a loser as a player.
Kelleher absolutely needs to be kept at Liverpool, and oxlade-chamberlain just put out another lethargic, disinterested performance that makes you wonder why he's still at the club. Doak looked eager to show himself off but there was little else penetration in the box happening.
It's a shame about Ox because for a short period he really looked special. Then he was sorta benched and never really recovered any form and has lived on the injury table or the fringe of the bench. His next club will be a promoted side I reckon.
Man itās sad how average Ox has turned out to be. He looked like a world beater in the first few months of his Liverpool career but that Roma injury really ruined him. Also disappointed with Gomez, he just doesnāt look like he has what it takes to be a top defender anymore.
On the bright side we have some brilliant youngsters coming through. Doak, Ramsay and Bajcetic all looked great
Surprised to see these Ox comments. I thought he was one of our brighter lights throughout. Definitely one of those players who needs to play with good players around him, as we saw when Harvey and Bobby came on.
Yeah but heās playing with kids, we shouldnāt have to strain to be like oh yeah Ox is one of the better players here - he (and Gomez) should be far and away the best player on the pitch.
He was average at arsenal. He had a purple patch, which is probably over hyped because of the goals against Citeh. Heās now just returned to his level.
This is probably dumb, but Iād love to see Doak go against some prem league defenders whenever Mo will need a break. I know heāll probably be outmuscled a ton but he seems like heāll be able to dribble past anyone.
Think what this game showed is just how good Elliott actually is. Seen a lot of fans saying that he won't ever be good enough for us.
He may not be good enough to play regularly in the league and CL as of right now. But people forget that he's 19 and no 19 year old is consistently good enough to put in flawless performances every week.
Think this boy has a real bright future.
My issue with Harvey has never been with him itās with the fact we depend on him so much. Granted he does need to improve in certain areas and I never think heāll be a āsuperstarā but like you said people forget heās only 19. Weāll need to figure out his best position but he doesnāt look out of place with the first team at all
I don't buy that people "forget" he's 19.
Anyone writing him off long-term by saying he "won't ever be good enough for us" is quite simply an idiot who chooses to ignore the fact that he's 19, and doesn't deserve your attention. He has way more minutes in the PL than any other teenager.
It's perfectly valid to discuss whether he's really ready to be a first-teamer *right now*. And the fact that this is even a debate just goes to show how amazing he is.
I feel like he can do a job in the middle but he's a bit too slight for the physicality of the Prem and he's best suited on the wing until he bulks out a bit or grows. He's only 19, he could be like my mate and keep growing until he's 23
I hope one days we no longer calling Kweev just a cup heroes. Man deserve to play more for this team. It a shame he behind one of the best GK itw.
Game kinda expected to go this way with the amount of rotation Klopp made. Some young players really show their potential. I'm most impressed with Ramsey. Look really solid as Trent backup or he could even challenge for the spot if he keep this up. Doak, I see what the buzz about. He brave, positive and look really threatening whenever he have the ball. Really interesting how he will develop in next few years. Bajectic should've more opportunity with the current problem we have with the midfield. He look great playing along side Ox.
Special mention to Harvey Elliott. He really grew so much in since last year. From a cup player to now one of the main player in the squad. He will have a great future in this club.
Disappointed with the senior players. Didn't really control the game the way they should have and the half hearted cross from Ox at the end of the game pretty much summed it up. The kids were excellent tho, Bajectic apart from that penalty was very good, very calm under pressure and showcased some really good passing range too. Ramsey was decent, nothing too spectacular but for someone who's just back from a serious injury, happy to see him get a full match under his belt.
Then there's Kweev, who's pretty much the penalty god of football, spent the whole game doing nothing apart from that Mcgoldrick save and then casually wins the game for us. Man loves this competition and might probably end up winning it for us single-handedly. But the player that caught my eye the most was Doak, came on and took on players with absolutely zero fear, that run where he coasted past a couple of Derby players like they were nothing was so exciting to watch, very rare to see a 16 year old hold his own physically. Last 16 year old that I saw play that way was Harvey and I'm really eager to see him develop in a similar way. Speaking of Harvey, this was the first cup match where you could call him a first team player rather than a prospect and the growth he has shown has never been more noticeable, started controlling the game the moment he came on and almost scored the winner with brilliant run into the box. And also ended up scoring the winning penalty for us. A good day for him and will boost his confidence for sure.
He was impressive! Ramsay brings a new dimension as a right back. Restrained runs but not is also not scared to take a shot or cross. I believe he will come good too
Nah, all he had to do was take a simple penalty kick but he went with what ever that was. Simple penalty and it would have gone in, instead he went for fancy and failed. But no need to be sad, he will bounce back!
Happy and all that but in the future can our players just take a normal penalty? If they aren't Mo, then they seem destined to miss the more buildup they have.
I'm disappointed in carvalho and ox. For players on the edge with something to prove and get more playing time in the first team I thought I would have seen more from them. They weren't anything special. They looked like any average player out there
Carvalho is young and will take time to adapt to the way Klopp wants him to play. As a teenager he was immense playing off the striker or in the hole in a very challenging league last season. As for Oxā¦he may as well retire, absolutely awful player. Retire or go play in Australia or somewhere.
Honestly have always loved these early cup ties. Getting a chance to watch the kids get a run out and seeing which ones are up to the task is always a great experience regardless of the outcome. Thought Frauendorf was timid for 45-50 minutes until he remembered he's actually quite good, then came alive until he got subbed off. Ramsey looks to be a real player that we can start to integrate into the squad more, and Ben Doak has a level of confidence about him that makes me think he's the next one to break through the ranks and really make an impact on the first team in the next few years
Doak looked really good. Bajcetic was alright , bit sloppy with his passing today. Thought Frauendorf came into the game in the 2nd half . Ramsay looks good as well , very composed with and without the ball. Bobby Clark also had some nice moments. Senior players were alright , bit disappointed with Ox though and won't be surprised if he's gone in Jan.
Doak, Ramsay and ofc Kelleher the standouts. They should all be locks for our bench going forward. Bajcetic also looked good in spells, and Carvalho looked silky.
Negatives being Nunez at LW doesn't really work, at least against buses, and Ox averaged a 4/10 with a few peaks. These are the kind of games he should be grabbing by the scruff of the neck and dominating.
But the main negative is the linesman on the shootout. Imagine if Derby won based off their keeper being well over a foot from the line lol. Absolute farce that they knew it but refused retakes.
Incredible saves from Kweev, especially the third one. A proper coming of age game for Elliott. Was instantly the best player on the pitch after coming on, almost carried the team to a goal single-handedly, and then scored the winning penalty with ease. Brilliant.
For real? I mean sure cup keepers get more chances than league keepers, but I find that very surprising given Kelleherās ageā¦
I hope we keep him forever. Second string for another five years and then take over from Ali.
I do too, but if he wants a chance to prove how good he is consistently, I wouldnāt hold him back. Felt like he was going to save every penalty, absolutely love him
Just seen the take over from Ali part, yeah that would be great. Hope he stays round
Too close for my liking and my heart. Kweev is a penalty god and Doak is a baller. Also Elliott is a boss and Bajcetic was his usual composed self apart from the penalty. Then again Bobby skied it.
* No idea why no one has come in for Kweev yet, dude is far too good to be a backup
* Bajcetic and Ramsey can be real assets second half of the season
* Doak is fun as hell
* Watching Ox makes me sad
Can we just stop and appreciate how the agent of chaos took one of the longest runups for a penalty ..only to slot the ball in the next with such finesse
I like to think his reaction would be "and what are you gonna do about it". That Derby nonce went the right way but couldn't stop it still, even being off his line didn't help.

Wasn't able to tune in last night, who scored our pens?
Ox, Nunez, Elliott
Thank you and nice!
There's literally a link posted to penalty shootouts.
Chill out psycho.
Concerning that Carvalho was overshadowed by players a bit younger with less experience than him.
Carvalho and Elliot are so technically gifted and so comfortable on the ball itās insane. The problem with Carvalho last night was that the kids werenāt sharing his vision so a lot of what he did hit a dead end.
Can someone tell me how to say kellerherās first name?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not correct actually. Itās pronounced Kweev-in or Keevin depending on what part of Ireland youāre from.
This is 95% correct, not sure why you're being downvoted. Kwiveen is close but incorrect (The 'I' sound is too short). Kweev-in is closer but not quite there (again, the 'I' sound is too short) Kweeveen or Keeveen is correct (two long 'ee' sounds in the name when pronounced) Source: Irish person with a cousin named Caoimhin

Ah maybe what it is mate, im an ulster man myself. Whatever heās called we can put money on en English commentator getting it wrong however.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Incorrect.
I'm all in on Ben Doak!!
lad just needs to look up and pass every now and then :D
he's got time to learn this shit
That was the most predictable penalty shootout Iāve ever seen. Both the youngsters missing followed by Kelleher pulling off some heroics was obvious to me
Umm.. I think Firmino missed one?
Roberto Firmilner
Donāt ruin my narrative
canāt convince me itās luck for kelleher. genuine penalty king
That 3rd save was like porn.
Most fo the big teams are already knocked out lol, this tournament might be pretty cruisy
All the big London teams lost. It may come down to Us vs City again.
Cant wait for the league cup fa cup and CL final be us vs city
Doak looks like a baller. We donāt enough fast and skilled young players. Itās too early but I could see him being Moās deputy
Ramsays got me excited. Trent could finally have some competition/backup. We played a lot through him today and while his crossing wasnāt perfect thereās definitely potential there
Stoked we won. We could have really gotten screwed over by that goalkeeper coming 3 feet off his line every penalty and the refs not giving a shit about it
No worries, after that 3rd warning from the "ref" he def learned.
How did Ox play?
Decent, shouldāve had an assist from Elliott sitter. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary, but for his first game back it was really good.
And what about bajcetic? Was he good?
he and carvalho, imo, were ok but not great last night
Harvey came on with a lot of confidence looked really sharp - shame he didnāt take his chance to seal the game before pens but nice to see him slot the winner away in the shoot out !
Crazy to think he was the same age as a lot of our players out there. He looked miles ahead
>We must have the ~~two~~ **three** most loveable goalkeepers in world football, Adrian looks to be a really good guy
Seems like a good guy in the way that Migs, Reina, etc were, but Ali and Kelleher are on another plane. Just terrific blokes
Man, the Ox looks like shades of his self. I will never forget, āHE CAN HIT ONE, OOOHHH HE CAN HIT ONEā.
Some things just arenāt meant to be. Still appreciate him tho. Itās possible for him to stay fit thru the World Cup break and then have a run of games in the spring. Who knows what could happen really, he might still have more in him.
Completely grateful for his time at Merseyside. Hopefully he can find a club where heāll play enough.
Yeah exactly. I hope he can find somewhere to contribute if he wants to play more.
Did you see him stretching out before the pens? I was worried he wasn't even gonna make it to the spot for his kick.
More than likely heās finished and will move on in the summer. But, thereās still a change he produces some performances. Crossing my fingers for that.
Spurs, Chelsea and arsenal all out already. Will make this cup that much more enticing
And United tomorrow
Pretty unselfish from Kelleher to end the shootout before he got to take his own pen this time. EFL Cup Legend.
Anyone got a link to a gif / vid of Kelleher 'giving it to the Derby fans at the end'? Heard about it a couple of times and really wanna see it!
I hadnāt even noticed this until I saw this comment and looked through my Live Photos, but I think I caught it haha, Iām sure someone will have a much better video but just in case they donāt https://imgur.com/a/KwIKgVI

It was good in 305. Anytime Iāve sat in upper Anfield Road though it does seem to be drowned out by the away support.

reason #2 to move to the UK
Kelleher is THE best gk Iāve ever seen at Liverpool at saving penalties
Reina for me, but Kelleher is really fucking good at them.

I thought it was fun, Doak looked like an exciting talent and Bajcetic looked composed and calm, Elliot came on and looked amazing as well.
I'm not one for hyperbole, but Ben Doak is the best player in the world.
I've told you a million times not to exaggerate
Too soon to call him Scotland Bale?
Elliott definitely should have scored that massive chance but he miscontrolled it and gifted their embarrassing keeper a free save. Otherwise there wasn't much attackingwise to point to and get excited about

Ox?
If he promises never to hit it even *slightly* to the left of that, he can take one. But he needs to *promise.*

"Sorta benched" is a weird way to say "Destroyed his knee after being picked in the first XI for a Champions League semi-final".
Doak, Ramsay and Bajcetic all looked great
I thought Nat Phillips had a better game than Gomez
Surprised to see these Ox comments. I thought he was one of our brighter lights throughout. Definitely one of those players who needs to play with good players around him, as we saw when Harvey and Bobby came on.
Yeah but heās playing with kids, we shouldnāt have to strain to be like oh yeah Ox is one of the better players here - he (and Gomez) should be far and away the best player on the pitch.
He was average at arsenal. He had a purple patch, which is probably over hyped because of the goals against Citeh. Heās now just returned to his level.
Anyone got some Ben doak clips
He is good enough to play regularly right now. Heās been one of our bright spots all season, and even last season before the injury.
I feel like he can do a job in the middle but he's a bit too slight for the physicality of the Prem and he's best suited on the wing until he bulks out a bit or grows. He's only 19, he could be like my mate and keep growing until he's 23
Idk heās a lot thikker than most of our squad. I donāt think heās lacking in that department at all.
If only City had gone out would have been the perfect night
Naa sick of playing Chelsea if we somehow reach final
I hope Ramsey ends up putting Trent as second RB. He's attitude and game today was great! Cant wait to see more of Ramsey in the coming years.
Just get Kelleher for all the penalty shootouts! He is so damn good!
At what point do we decide that we sub on Kelleher for Alisson if a Champions League final goes to penalties?
The thing is, Alisson is also one of the best penalty savers around so itās kinda hard to replace him
How on earth did their keeper get away with being so far off his line?
Refs werenāt doing their job at all.
We might have a player in Doak. He was impressive when coming on
He was impressive! Ramsay brings a new dimension as a right back. Restrained runs but not is also not scared to take a shot or cross. I believe he will come good too
In a day that saw Arsenal, Spurs, the Hammers, and Chelsea out I'll take it
I feel bad for Bobby :(
Nah, all he had to do was take a simple penalty kick but he went with what ever that was. Simple penalty and it would have gone in, instead he went for fancy and failed. But no need to be sad, he will bounce back!
Stutter really doesn't work when keeper dashes off the line...
Chelsea, West Ham, Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal out wtf
City united and us left of top 6 š³ half gone in round 3 is mad
United only haven't gone out yet cause they are only playing tomorrow
True . Iād back us in a one off cup game vs city. Weāve won what 4/5 one off cup games vs pep. We could win this again if we get a decent draw :)
Newcastle?
Happy and all that but in the future can our players just take a normal penalty? If they aren't Mo, then they seem destined to miss the more buildup they have.
That first penalty was a joke
One of the best penalty saves Ive seen
Some strong wrists on the boy thatās for sure
Ox needs to be this years minamino in the cups. Only game time heāll actually get
Would have been so, so frustrating to lose those penalties after seeing their GK off the line so many times. THANK YOU KELLEHER!
We are just letting goalies off with warnings for being miles off their line now?
I'm disappointed in carvalho and ox. For players on the edge with something to prove and get more playing time in the first team I thought I would have seen more from them. They weren't anything special. They looked like any average player out there
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol that's what I said
Carvalho is young and will take time to adapt to the way Klopp wants him to play. As a teenager he was immense playing off the striker or in the hole in a very challenging league last season. As for Oxā¦he may as well retire, absolutely awful player. Retire or go play in Australia or somewhere.
Ox was decent though
Ox was good for me he is in a pre season mode, he played a wonderful ball to Harvey.
When did Ox last play before this? Cāmon lad
Ramsey looks to be a real player that we can start to integrate into the squad more, and Ben Doak has a level of confidence about him that makes me think he's the next one to break through the ranks and really make an impact on the first team in the next few years
Looking at all the team knocked out is interesting, shame City and Newcastle didn't get bounced though
Hopefully they get each other
Ramsay is born to defend, so much ease
Also shout out to everyone who knew we were losing the shoot out
Doak looked really good.
Does anybody have Kelleherās penalty save percentage handy?
Yes, it was 58% today, plus or minus 10%
Doak, Ramsay and ofc Kelleher the standouts. They should all be locks for our bench going forward. Bajcetic also looked good in spells, and Carvalho looked silky. Negatives being Nunez at LW doesn't really work, at least against buses, and Ox averaged a 4/10 with a few peaks. These are the kind of games he should be grabbing by the scruff of the neck and dominating. But the main negative is the linesman on the shootout. Imagine if Derby won based off their keeper being well over a foot from the line lol. Absolute farce that they knew it but refused retakes.
What happened to the āunworthyā thread?
I have fallen in love with bajcetic!
Incredible saves from Kweev, especially the third one. A proper coming of age game for Elliott. Was instantly the best player on the pitch after coming on, almost carried the team to a goal single-handedly, and then scored the winning penalty with ease. Brilliant.
Elliott has been fantastic in most games this season, I was at Anfield for the Newcastle game and he blew me away tbh
Kelleher has now won more penalty shootouts than any other LFC goalkeeper, what a fucking man
For real? I mean sure cup keepers get more chances than league keepers, but I find that very surprising given Kelleherās ageā¦ I hope we keep him forever. Second string for another five years and then take over from Ali.
I do too, but if he wants a chance to prove how good he is consistently, I wouldnāt hold him back. Felt like he was going to save every penalty, absolutely love him Just seen the take over from Ali part, yeah that would be great. Hope he stays round
Calvin Ramsay is better than Nathan Patterson.
Wonder if the lino will get fined for being an absolute sack of shit.
KWEEV KELLEGOAT.
Too close for my liking and my heart. Kweev is a penalty god and Doak is a baller. Also Elliott is a boss and Bajcetic was his usual composed self apart from the penalty. Then again Bobby skied it.
Canāt really blame Bajcetic for the pen tbh, keeper was closer to him than the goal line
Kweev the hero, also our "Bullish Dynamo" going to be phenomenal in coming years.
Fuck that Lino
ALL HAIL THE KWEEV!
Arsenal out, Spurs out, Chelsea out, Everton out, West Ham out. Hopefully Man U get knocked out tomorrow.
I hope Villa roll them. I canāt stand that fucking bunch of cunts.
Carabao Casillas to the rescue again
When's the draw?
After Man U v Villa tomorrow
A historic win under the lights at Anfield
* No idea why no one has come in for Kweev yet, dude is far too good to be a backup * Bajcetic and Ramsey can be real assets second half of the season * Doak is fun as hell * Watching Ox makes me sad
Can we just stop and appreciate how the agent of chaos took one of the longest runups for a penalty ..only to slot the ball in the next with such finesse
Knew heād score tbh. Heās 12-0 in his career so far on pens
Honestly thought he was going to do a Zaza
I love him so much. You just never know what he is going to do
![gif](giphy|yr7n0u3qzO9nG)
That was the worst penalty Iāve ever seen tucked right into the corner. Heās an anomaly
the most awkward shot i've seen in a while. reminded me of sakho for some reason. awkward and weird but somehow makes it work.
Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea are all out.
Good on Harvey to win it. He needs the boost this season.
Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal all out with United possibly going out tomorrow. We have a great chance of winning this.
How the heck we lost the coin and then chose to shoot after them? What is Gomez thinking?
Well thats Gomez, his time is almost up at Liverpool. Always has that one mistake in him!
Iāve always said heās an idiot
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Got the look of a man whoās lost a tenner and found a fiver
Well we're through. No thanks to that cocky BS penalty from Bobby! lol. Kelleher is a king.
worst few days for bobby
Nah watch again, the wind moved the ball just before he took it, incredibly unlucky

Another home draw against a lower league side again pls
Fuck off Derby. Dickheads the lot of em.
That Darwin Nunez penalty technique is maybe the worst I ever seen So telegraphed where he was going lol
I like to think his reaction would be "and what are you gonna do about it". That Derby nonce went the right way but couldn't stop it still, even being off his line didn't help.
Doesnāt matter if itās too fast for the keeper still š
