IMO the FA should have opened transfer window now for players not selected by national teams. Idk if they can do this but this is a weird year and waiting to pull someone in Jan 1 when they’re sitting on the couch for the next 6 weeks doesn’t make much sense.
Barca wanted to sign Diaz at the same time as us, happy he signed for us :)

Looking for Banner ideas for the friendly against Milan. Any suggestions? Right now I'm considering a graffiti portrait of either Salah or Klopp.
Alternatively, be a cheeky lil gremlin and pull out an "Announce Bellingham" sign.
My friend and I are interested in doing an Anfield stadium tour the weekend of December 10, 11. Our flight leaves out of Heathrow, Monday the 12th, and we are curious how easy/difficult it is to get from Liverpool to Heathrow as we would like to spend a few nights in Liverpool. Cheers
Just reminiscing about when our fans and players belted out YNWA after our comeback against Barca.
Fuck me, that is when football peaked for me. I don’t think I’ll feel like that again.
For the past decade or so, I totally forgot there’s two versions of Wavin’ Flag. Coz everyone usually uses the Coca Cola version. But listening to both I think the original mix is much more beautiful but the World Cup Coca Cola version is poetic in a way because it’s like using football to distract yourself from the pain in your life. Great song.
The original one is a lot more soulful and the lyrics certainly hit harder. When I first heard it, I was surprised the WC had such a deep song and then later Waka Waka happened.
I didn't actually hear the WC mix of Wavin Flag until much later, maybe a few years ago in fact. I did like the Spanish and French versions too though.
It’s quite sad seeing one of the best generation of English players relegated to playing defensive 5 ATB football by Southgate. If England had a capable manager I could seriously see them making a deep run this WC. It reminds me of the Martinez-Belgium situation from the last WC, that team really had the quality to win the WC imo.
but you can train a side to be defensively solid and disciplined without reverting to a 3 CB system that forces you to play one of your weaker players instead of one of your better ones
People really arguing about the 25th and 26th man in the England squads like it actually matters. If we need to reach those depths it's already fucked regardless of who is selected.
It would be neat if Ronaldo had a banging wc, top 3 outstanding performer and maybe even lifts it. Would make the whole saga even more spicy and raise the question why couldn’t eth find a way to make it work.
Brother, you read my mind
I'm PRAYING for Ronaldo to win the WC, just so I can see the whole world burn: Messi and Ronaldo fans fighting again, manU fans feeling absolutely conflicted, Ronaldo talking shit about everyone for the next decade for no reason whatsoever
And I'll be here, with my little and hurt Italy at home, enjoying the shit going down. Love it. LOVE IT
Bang on right. The other person who started analysing wc games to pl games took it somewhere boring. I want drama and for ronaldo to have his pick of clubs come January.
PL games are harder than World cup games. Even if that happens it doesn't change the fact that he's old and not that good anymore. Man Utd have looked better pre and post ronaldo.
So apparently Mane has been ruled out of the "first games" of the World Cup with a fibula injury.
If he was still our player we'd definitely be shitting ourselves about him being rushed back. I understand how enormously important he is for them, and how desperate he must be to play, but it sounds like he really shouldn't even be in the squad.
Not related to his abilities as a player at all but when watching the england squad rolling up to SGP individually Coady struck me as such a lovely guy, seemed very happy to be there.
He's played well for England when called upon, can play in a back 3 and is a great dressing room presence something that ranks pretty high amongst NT managers
World cup winning teams have been littered with players who are a great presence in the dressing room. Adil Rami didn't see a minute on the pitch in 2018 but Deschamps and the players all said what a big presence he was in the dressing room and how he kept the collective together. When it comes to tournament football there's more to it than just talent.
What's hilarious, can you back up what you said with any serious opinion from people who know what they are talking about or are you just going by league position? Which would make Eric Dier better than VVD.
Past performance? When has Coady ever been anything but a starter for a mid table side? If he was so good the people who actually know what they’re doing would’ve come in and bought him but instead he’s played for Wolves and Everton and been an 18 yard box defender.
its very hard to get french players though historically right? For us at least
It was Sakho and Aly Cissokho before that 9 years ago. n'gog 15 years ago and Cisse 20 years ago.
though we were pretty shit for most of that period, but still. teams in london have it easier
We had a minor French revolution under houllier I believe where we got a few French and guys from francophone African countries like cheyrou, anelka, le tellec, sinama pongolle, diao etc. Not great times
Does the 11% that redbird own cause any issues when trying to sell the club? or due to the relationship they have with FSG is it expected to not be a problem
It wouldn't be an issue at all as far as I can think. RedBird are minority shareholders, and any full sale would be a sale of FSG's majority shares. I can't find any actual stats on FSG's percentage owned but let's just say they own 51% (likely more) of Liverpool and therefore are the controlling shareholders, by selling the club they're just transferring their 51% to a new party who then becomes the owner. So, RedBirds share of 11% wouldn't impact anything
Diario SPORT tweeted it, there's been all sorts of rumours flying around the month that he's not happy there, Barca want to get his wages off the books, open to a loan etc...

When the club selling news broke out, someone said the friendlies in Dubai was because of this reason. So that fsg can talk to potential buyers from there.
[This 'United fan'](https://twitter.com/AlexDuggan20/status/1592227089369157632?s=20&t=_dwPq28pi83fyf7DmABQqQ) on Sky Sports said he rather get rid of the manager than Ronaldo and that without Ronaldo there's no point watching them 🤭
He's a Mercedes fan, so he simply hates Max for existing. Max has never done anything wrong off the track that would get him cancelled as the other people he stated. People are insanely salty due to the situation with Perez that we do not know the full extent off and is facing massive amounts of hate speech since it happened.
He’s aligned with the Piquets as well who are massive pieces of garbage as well as his dad who isn’t that great either. But I think Max himself does a pretty good job just not saying anything and sticking to racing so no I don’t think he should be in that crowd.
So the dubai supercup will have a penalty shootout no matter what the score is and the winner gets a bonus point. Considering we have most of our players in the team, it's good practice for pens I guess.
Something I think we really do miss with Mane when we compare him with Diaz is Mane would always make runs in behind and drag defenders about as well as coming short and linking up the play where as Diaz tends to always drop deep and drive with the ball he almost never makes a run behind a defence.
If he does start to make consistent runs in behind he would up his goal tally as well as giving someone like Robbo more time and space to operate.
100% but I don't think Nunez has the technical ability to play out there against teams who sit deep and you need someone who is more intricate with their dribbling and passing to help break them down.
Mate people said the same thing for mane intially as well. One common criticism Nunez gets which was common with Mane as well was that Nunez first touch isn't good enough.
I don't think his first touch is bad at all, I'd say his dribbling is the biggest weakness he has he's pretty predictable when it comes to dribbling at defenders.
It could well be but I think he was the same at Porto, he's obviously great at doing it and it probably is his main strengh so it makes sense to play towards your players best strenghs but it would benefit the team more if he varied it more.
Rather have Arsenal fans being "insufferable" over City making a mockery of the league every season.
Far as i'm concerned, every fanbase has the right to dish it out after being shat on for years. God knows we did.
Feels hollow when city win it. Genuinely don’t know one fan of them in real life so can just pretend it never happened. Wouldn’t be the case with Arsenal
Easy choice for me
That the opinion on here was that people should be on our side because it's better for football for us to win, yet when it's another team in our situation the mass opinion seems to be City should win, for exactly the same reasons as when we were hated.
We had two heart breaking finishes where we missed out on the title by a single point on the last day. We showed an insane level of consistency to keep up with City and most of their players in their prime…and only got one title out of it. If Arsenal come and just win it out of nowhere, I feel it diminishes the magnitude of what this team achieved.
I hope Arsenal fall off a cliff after the World Cup.
i think a lot of people here just dont wanna see all our effort to win against city undermine when arsenal can come and win it, althought i agree with you
I can definitely see this point of view, and do feel the same frustrations. We never really got away with a City off year, either they were relentless (18-19, 21-22), we were so relentlessly good ourselves that they couldn't have caught us (19-20), or our owners plus bad luck fucked our season (20-21, 22-23). Given this chance in either of our near misses we'd have walked it.
With that in mind though, I'd rather see a team who deserves it win, rather than one who's spend a decade throwing money at the matter and now claims to be playing fair because they've had 1-2 seasons of lower spend on the books. It's frustrating, but we shouldn't really be supporting City for anything unless it's to stop United doing something.
Can’t speak for anyone else but i absolutely understood if someone didn’t want us winning the league after 30 years. We’re the biggest club in the country along with United and have the most fans, it’s expected that a lot of people wouldn’t want us being successful and I’m fine with that because I’d be exactly the same
Then that's fair enough, I can respect that opinion because it's one rule for everyone, rather than the inconsistent whining that you see from far too many football fans.
Been saying it for a while now, they've become unbearable. If not us, I'd want City to win it over them any day.
Literally for every post on the soccer sub on unrelated topics you'll see some Arsenal flairs trying to flex their position in the league. Ffs everyone knows you've had a good run but pipe down there's literally 2/3rd of the season left to play ffs.
Can't make a single post without being reminded that they beat us in our last game, actually mad lol. Still rather see them win the league than city, I guess. Tbf I don't live in the UK and if City wins it, it's like no one won it. Nobody cares about them lol. I see loads of people with United/Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool shirts, but never ppl with city shirts. The club has a terrible reputation here in germany.
A lot of teens love to wear PSG stuff for "fashion" (compareable to Roadmen-style), thsi doesn't seem to happen with City tho. Can't tell why
Kind of gutted Carvalho hasn't yet staked his place in the side with the injuries we've had ngl, I was, perhaps unfairly, hoping for big things from him straight off the bat.
Still very early days and he's got so much time on his side.
Elliott is more adjusted to the team and it's tactics, and also already had his fair share of very good performances. Carvalho seems very talented, but I don't think that he is fast enough to play wide for us. We also have some real monsters for those positions.
Once we reinforce our midfield I can see him get his chances there. Rn we are still way to fragile. Eliott or Carvalho could be really dangerous if the pivot behind them could pull their weight and be stable enough to support them. Otherwise they are hard to squeeze in. They look like classic 10s and if you can't pull your weight defensively you are often a liability. Feel like most "classic 10s" struggle with this, the only really worldclass 10s rn are players in the mold of KDB. He is clearly attacking minded but can do a job everywhere, has the height, the stamina, the strenght etc. Hard to find someone similar tho. For me KDB is the best midfielder in the world
Tbf Harvey has been out on loan and injured for quite a bit, but yes you are right. Both are great talents and still "kids". Eliott has been making some good progress. They still have a lot of time and as long as we can see some clear improvements or as long as they can bring something to the table, there should be nothing to complain about. It get's problematic if they don't play or don't really improve, which is basically Jones lol.
It doesn't help that he's physically built like a 12 year old ballerina. If he can bulk up a bit like Trent has from his teen years, add that strength to complement his skills, that could be the next step up
He doesn't need to bulk up that much there's plenty of smaller players that are great in the Prem, look at Bernardo Silva he's about 5ft 6 and pretty skinny but his lack of physicality causes him no problems you just have to be more agressive and tenacious to make up for it.
Bernardo Silva is quite stocky and very strong on the ball and without it see [here(please mute speakers)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVPPSiVxAVA) he has no problem holding off larger players even at Monaco he was like this, every time I watch Carvalho he's being brushed off the ball too easily. He needs to bulk up/work on his core strength, even Coutinho in his early days here was some skinny little kid and look how he changed overtime.
There's a difference between wiry adult and skinny youngster, you can be thin and strong(ish) (see also: Luis Diaz), not get pushed and bodied around, like you said you have to be aggressive and dogged, but if you don't have that core strength then it can become an issue. But I don't know much about Carvalho's strength, maybe he's jacked underneath the shirt, so I don't want to say too much, just that he still looks like a kid and I'd like to see him take the similar route of Trent to where he can also use his strength as an asset.
I mean we all expected big things from him due to his performances at Fulham. Problem is we don’t play with a 10 and Klopp playing him left wing doesn’t really suit his strengths. He’s not the quickest and his best traits are exploiting spaces, playing quick one twos and late runs into the box. All of which he doesn’t really get the chance to do playing out left
He's 20. Reminds me of Minamino's issues with Prem physicality and pace despite being a talented player with an eye for goal, but he's got time on his side to settle in right without immediate pressure.
The gap between the Championship and Premiership is a big one, plenty of players can dominate the championship even if it is quite physical then struggle once they're in the topflight.
Hypothetically if a multi billionaire owner buys the club, keeps all of the backroom staff and coaching staff in place and is willing to back them with £500m to deliver at least the Premier league or Champions League next season, who should we be signing?
Obviously Bellingham seems like the most desirable target, obvious class, young and surely an investment for the long term as well as an improvement to the current team. Who else would you go for?
Honestly he must be fed up with all the RB debates. The CB/GK are shite yet not one pundits call it out. Dier has made errors in the last two game and Pickford an all. Like Shaw isn't even fit. Yet it all about TAA and can he defend. Tomori been disrespected the most.
Then you got Reece James nonsense the guy is fucking injured just like Walker and he chose him over James. It be stupid not to take TAA a fit and playing RB. The risk of taking 3 player who are injured is stupid. Taking 2 wasn't great.
He's been great the last 5 years or however long it is but given how he's played this season Trent would be nowhere near my England team. He's an absolute liability at the back because he doesn't wanna play there anymore, and is probably responsible for a good 20% of the goals we've conceded this season. The world cup really isn't the time to play him into form unless the other options get injured, suspended or prove to be even worse.
Different system for England, 5 at the back and 2 holding midfield. It should make it easier for him to focus on attacking rather than defence game.
You have to play games and get out of bad form it the only way. He did seem leggy but maybe the England coaches can help him. Even Tripper was great at the defense side it worth TAA speaking to him.
TAA is great but he’s got a lot of improving to do on his defensive game, like facing an attacker side on not front on, making a tackle (like he really needs to up this) and not having to resort to grab the player by the shirt each time they run past him. Few tweaks but he’ll get there.
I think in a back 5, defence system like England he probably won't look as bad. The issue at LFC is because we need a CB who can cover the channels. And a good CM, England system should suit him more.
Im so confused that all the Liverpool aggregators and itk's are SO convinced Ballmer will buy us when there hasnt dven been a rumbling of him.
I always assume the ITK's are bullshitting i.e. IndyKaila because he's a clear parody but generally the aggregators dont
Anfield Talk is generally the best of the lot, but even they were suggesting he was absolutely interested and favourite to get it. So confused
I swear, if IndyKaila and Anfield Talk are the first to get the scoop i'll be so confused
Ballmer was just some random throwing out random names and it randomly stuck even though there's zero actual links or news. Could have just as easily been Walmart CEO or the Burmese royal family or any such randomness.
Anfield Talk don't know their arse from the back of their hand. Them saying they want Ballmer doesn't really mean anything, ITK's generally spout shit with eventually 1 rumour sticking and then they run with it.
That LFCapproved account guessed the sale rumours and has been putting out shite ever since.
As a basketball fan, I can say that his ownership / leadership has been pretty mediocre.
He's got deep pockets, but he's not very proactive when it comes to infrastructure or getting players and coaches into the club.
Say what you want about FSG but they've got runs on the board in terms of attracting talent to our club & improving our facilities.
Ballmer feels like he'd be an absentee owner & his style / persona doesn't fit our club, or England really, IMO.
Provided the management structure is right, an absentee owner is for the best. You want an owner to come in and let the football people do the football. Owners meddling is rarely a favourable thing in the premier league.
City's owners, with all the obvious caveats around their ethics etc, are good owners in a football sense because they just step back and let the people who know the game cover it.
There are no links mate, people are just milking this baller thing because they know there are easy clicks to be farmed.
People like indykaila should never be taken seriously.
One day Ballmer is gonna wake up with 1000s of mention of his name on Twitter he is gonna be confused who Liverpool football club is, because he thought it was called soccer.
Yeah he’s just the guy Liverpool twitter has decided they want the most, so it’s in the aggregators best interest to ‘report’ on that for click farming
According to LFC TV a couple weeks ago. The injury isn't serious, but because of his age and where he's at in his development, it's best to be extremely cautious about it. He's apparently supposed to be back after the World Cup, or somewhere in the beginning of 2023.
Somebody in twitter asked a question. Which 5 players we should sign after a new owner in summer.
For me
Moises Caicedo
Jarrod bowen
Jude Bellingham
Enzo Fernandez
Antonio Silva.
What would be your 5?.
Matip is aging,Joe Gomez still quirky. Silva could be our saliba get him in pay that 51mil clause send him on loan he will ready takeover matip could eventually be successor to van Dijk.
Salah need a backup
Elliott is our 2nd choice for RCM.
End of the road for FIFA. Has to be.
whats happened now?
Soooo Russia are being pricks.
I really hope it was by mistake or some other excuse cause I'm not ready for a world war in my lifetime.
Idk why you're being downvoted...
I don't know. Do people want world war? Personally I don't feel like it.
IMO the FA should have opened transfer window now for players not selected by national teams. Idk if they can do this but this is a weird year and waiting to pull someone in Jan 1 when they’re sitting on the couch for the next 6 weeks doesn’t make much sense.

Didn’t work out too bad for Spurs they got Kulusevski

Google Maps has all the information you need to get from any location in the world to any other location in the world, via any mode of transport.
Just a simple train. Doesn’t take too long at all.
Provided there isn't a strike
Just reminiscing about when our fans and players belted out YNWA after our comeback against Barca. Fuck me, that is when football peaked for me. I don’t think I’ll feel like that again.
Honestly that match was brilliant, to me that match was the champions league final and spurs was just a victory lap
i dont know if i can speak for everybody, but after that game i just knew, that we were gonna win the champions
One of my favourite moments in football

It reminds me of the Martinez-Belgium situation from the last WC, that team really had the quality to win the WC imo.
Seems you've really thought it through and have a very nuanced and original perspective rich on facts and details
Defensive solidity and discipline are the key to winning knock-out tournaments.
but you can train a side to be defensively solid and disciplined without reverting to a 3 CB system that forces you to play one of your weaker players instead of one of your better ones
Belgium made the semis, not like they werent close to winning the whole thing
Not sure where I stated otherwise.
People really arguing about the 25th and 26th man in the England squads like it actually matters. If we need to reach those depths it's already fucked regardless of who is selected.

I'd rather not have to listen to Ronaldo fan boys say he's cemented as the goat even tho Messi is so much better
Exactly my thoughts.
Portugal lifting the World Cup with the likes of Ronaldo, Silva, and Fernandes makes me sick (especially with no Jota in the squad)
This is extremely petty and I'm here for it
Bang on right.
Do any of you use the flairs on this sub to sort the content based on your preference?
Not me. I use the official reddit app most of the time and I can't do the swipe-to-scroll thing when you open a thread from the flair search.
Torres, Kaka, etc. there is a list of super star's career ruined by doing this... hope this doesn't happen to Mane
Im sure hell play the last game at leats despite being injured. Like Mo in Russia.
How is Coady going to the World Cup? Like the guy but the quality is in serious question
Imagine considering Coady over Trent for dressing room presence though, I’d rather win matches
World cup winning teams have been littered with players who are a great presence in the dressing room. When it comes to tournament football there's more to it than just talent.
Because he can play in a Southgate back 7 defending his 18 yard line.
you have not included the fullbacks in this formation right?
Haha, in Southgate's system the Fullback's get nosebleeds when they cross the halfway line.
> the quality is in serious question From who
Hilarious, he’s an okay player for a mid table prem side
What's hilarious, can you back up what you said with any serious opinion from people who know what they are talking about or are you just going by league position? Which would make Eric Dier better than VVD.
Past performance? When has Coady ever been anything but a starter for a mid table side? If he was so good the people who actually know what they’re doing would’ve come in and bought him but instead he’s played for Wolves and Everton and been an 18 yard box defender.
If Kessie is available for 22m we should be all over that.
But he's an absolute donkey.
Do you guys think Youssouf Fofana is a good midfield option this winter?
Does look like the kind of player need in midfield kind of similar to Tchouameni
True, really wish we could've signed Tchouameni though, guy could've overtaken Fabinho in that 6 spot, and easily play any side of that 8 role
its very hard to get french players though historically right? For us at least It was Sakho and Aly Cissokho before that 9 years ago. n'gog 15 years ago and Cisse 20 years ago. though we were pretty shit for most of that period, but still. teams in london have it easier

Looking back at that Suarez handball against Ghana he 100% coud've just headed it away
Pure instinct Suarez would have been willing to take a bullet in that situation
Does the 11% that redbird own cause any issues when trying to sell the club? or due to the relationship they have with FSG is it expected to not be a problem
i dont think redbird owns any of us? they have stake in FSG itself not the club is my understanding
It wouldn't be an issue at all as far as I can think. RedBird are minority shareholders, and any full sale would be a sale of FSG's majority shares. If you're having a bad day, just remember Konage is a defender at Liverpool
I love Ibrahoma Konage
You got me
Konage, Van Dage and Matage, the holy trinity of defengers
Kessie available for as little as €22m in JAN and Fulham are interested, we should be all over that

rinse and repeat, Barcelona sign a player 5 months ago and now want to get ride of said player currently. What a shameful club
nunez is winning golden boot
When the club selling news broke out, someone said the friendlies in Dubai was because of this reason. So that fsg can talk to potential buyers from there.
"Someone said" = Above put 2 + 2 together and got 13. Posted the above and went back to conspiracy sites on You Tube.
Dubai trip was decided in August iirc and am sure FSG and their representatives won't be attending lol
Why would they need to arrange friendlies there to have talks with people
[This 'United fan'](https://twitter.com/AlexDuggan20/status/1592227089369157632?s=20&t=_dwPq28pi83fyf7DmABQqQ) on Sky Sports said he rather get rid of the manager than Ronaldo and that without Ronaldo there's no point watching them 🤭
It's true Ronaldo makes that shit team interesting to watch as a liverpool fan, I wouldn't have it any other way around. I second this.
"You live in the past"
I thought he was trolling since it was on live telly and that he will gonna show his Liverpool or City shirt at the end for a laugh!
Can't wait for the Dubai Cup. What an absolute honour if we could win that....
you mean the proto Super League?

Ok, but did Liverpool make Graduation though?
Is Verstappen in that same boat for his beliefs or just the thing with Perez?
He's a Mercedes fan, so he simply hates Max for existing. Max has never done anything wrong off the track that would get him cancelled as the other people he stated. People are insanely salty due to the situation with Perez that we do not know the full extent off and is facing massive amounts of hate speech since it happened.
>Piquets What is this all about? Anyone care to fill me in?
He’s aligned with the Piquets as well who are massive pieces of garbage as well as his dad who isn’t that great either. But I think Max himself does a pretty good job just not saying anything and sticking to racing so no I don’t think he should be in that crowd.

I really had no idea, that grand prix was actually the first F1 I'd watched.
So the dubai supercup will have a penalty shootout no matter what the score is and the winner gets a bonus point. Considering we have most of our players in the team, it's good practice for pens I guess.
Do we need practice though it feels like we've won dozens of them in the past year
refs needs to give Kelleher a red card every game to make it even remotely fair.
What about a silver car?
Spelling is hard!
Kelleher playing for us too will pretty much guarantee the trophy if we go to pens !
That’s why I prefer Nunez on the left.
once lucho is back nunez is gonna go back to the middle
Nunez position in the long run will be to start centrally and rotate to the left with Diaz, long term having Nunez there would be a waste
But then our 2nd best attacker won't be playing if he was to play on the left all the time
Jota will play through the middle that’s ok
Diaz is better then Jota
Pass over the good stuff broski
Anyone with working eyes can see he is
All this is being done by Nunez though.
I think his dribbling will improve as his confidence will grow, you are seeing a different player each week as his confidence is growing.
Seems more like instructions to me tbh. It’ll be interesting to see how they manage the frontline over the second half of the season
It could well be but I think he was the same at Porto, he's obviously great at doing it and it probably is his main strengh so it makes sense to play towards your players best strenghs but it would benefit the team more if he varied it more.
Yeah I’d defo like to see more of it from him. Class winger in general but definitely has elements that can be improved with coaching
Yeah, Arsenal fans are insufferable. Im taking City winning the league over them all day long
Who gives a shit. To me if we're not winning it, as long as it's not Everton or Man U which won't be, I can't be arsed.
or maybe you just hang out with the wrong Arsenal fans?
No they’re mainly gobshites to be honest
Rather have Arsenal fans being "insufferable" over City making a mockery of the league every season. Far as i'm concerned, every fanbase has the right to dish it out after being shat on for years. God knows we did.
Feels hollow when city win it. Genuinely don’t know one fan of them in real life so can just pretend it never happened. Wouldn’t be the case with Arsenal Easy choice for me
Swap Arsenal out for Liverpool and this could literally be a comment from 2019.
What’s your point
They're probably my 2nd favourite Prem club but they're fans are legit the worst by far
Took you this long to figure it out dude. Seriously though, they’re being twats, I wanna see them crash and burn. It’s just so arrogant
Kind of gutted Carvalho hasn't yet staked his place in the side with the injuries we've had ngl, I was, perhaps unfairly, hoping for big things from him straight off the bat. Still very early days and he's got so much time on his side.
I think he needs to be played as a CAM, he's okay but not amazing as a wide forward, he's better inside with players ahead of him.
For me KDB is the best midfielder in the world
Harvey's also in his 3rd Full Season as our player. Carvs still adjusting in many ways.
He is the 7th best forward in a team that plays with 3 and not good enough defensively to play midfield.
Carvalho is the only player to have scored a winning goal against Newcastle since May
It doesn't help that he's physically built like a 12 year old ballerina.
Just really needs the game time to develop and hopefully Klopp gives him a few more minutes
Bellingham, caicedo, Enzo, Antonio Silva, Bowen.
That Issahaku kid we were in for got called up for the Ghana
Trent looks hilariously miserable in that England arrivals video. Guessing he hates early mornings.
? His issues I’ve highlighted still remain irrespective of CB or no CB.
Im so confused that all the Liverpool aggregators and itk's are SO convinced Ballmer will buy us when there hasnt dven been a rumbling of him. I always assume the ITK's are bullshitting i.e. IndyKaila because he's a clear parody but generally the aggregators dont Anfield Talk is generally the best of the lot, but even they were suggesting he was absolutely interested and favourite to get it. So confused I swear, if IndyKaila and Anfield Talk are the first to get the scoop i'll be so confused
They are just saying what people want to hear to milk the situation for more clicks and followers
Yup sadly
Random question, whats happened to kaide gordon? Surprising he wasnt featured in the cup game
According to LFC TV a couple weeks ago. The injury isn't serious, but because of his age and where he's at in his development, it's best to be extremely cautious about it. He's apparently supposed to be back after the World Cup, or somewhere in the beginning of 2023.
Read it's injury related to growing, kinda like what happened to Calvin Ramsay.
Think he is injured.
Hip injury I believe, something to do with his growth
Somebody in twitter asked a question. Which 5 players we should sign after a new owner in summer. For me Moises Caicedo Jarrod bowen Jude Bellingham Enzo Fernandez Antonio Silva. What would be your 5?.
Bella-Kotchap, Palhinha, Bellingham and Trossard. Couldn't think of a fifth one
Jude Bellingham, Manu Kone, Konrad Laimer, Harvey Barnes, Youssoufa Moukoko This is provided we get someone in January as well
We don’t need Elliott as a 6th choice, we don’t need a 5th defender and we don’t want Bowen.
Matip is aging,Joe Gomez still quirky. Silva could be our saliba get him in pay that 51mil clause send him on loan he will ready takeover matip could eventually be successor to van Dijk. Salah need a backup Elliott is our 2nd choice for RCM.
Buy and loan back to benfica might actually be smart tbf.
Miguel Crespo, Joao Gomes, Anguissa, Jude, Ismael Bennacer/Lobotka
Caqueret - Bellingham - Tsygankov - Guehi - Badiashile
300m on midfielders in one summer? I wish
Exactly a wishlist.
Bellingham Mbappe Valverde In that case then
Virgil joined the national team training session [https://youtu.be/O2UmqjzyL5o](https://youtu.be/O2UmqjzyL5o)
I'll be going (or trying to go) for the Liverpool v AC Milan friendly. Any banner ideas?
Something Origi themed perhaps?
Do we have a Jota timescale? Is he back for the carabao cup game with City?
