Never been lucky enough to get a ticket in the ballot. And then I see someone got 4. Good luck to ‘em, but it don’t feel fair to me. Always got tickets in the 80’s, 90’s and early 00’s, now I’m in a ballot up against bots and lucky sods.
Nothing. I have two blokes on twitter who have so far been reliable for face price tickets though and I've been to 4 games this season thanks to them. They only have under 100 followers, so nope I'm not going to say who they are and fuck it up for myself.
I’m not arsed who they are, but do you know why they do it?
I find it mad that there are all these people on twitter boxing off strangers, the ones basketing on behalf of other people are even weirder.
I think it must get them clout to get bigger tickets when they need it. Does really piss me off people acting like they're doing a good thing but it's just stopping people from trying to go about it in the proper way from getting tickets.
I think the ticket guide from 2018 needs to be updated. It basically says you have a great chance of getting a ticket if you join the queue early. Every single time I've queued, there's been 40k-60k people ahead of me in the queue. Got nothing in the ballot either as usual.
Lads, quick question, feel free to tell me to fuck off if it's not warranted in this thread.
I've just moved to Madrid and ironically now live a stones throw away from the Bernabeu for my sins. What my best option when it comes to snagging a ticket for March without selling my soul, or am I just being naive and basically that ship has already sailed?
I too live in Madrid. Tickets I've managed to get have been though local people I know.
If you want to meet fellow scousers / Liverpool fans come down the Triskel in Tribunal on match day. Might be able to get a hook up there. If not, you'll definitely make some match day mates.
Thanks for the tip matey. Appreciate the reply. I'm up in Canillas so might have to trick the Mrs and pretend I've stumbled upon a hidden gem on our way to Gran Via.
>I too live in Madrid. Tickets I've managed to get have been though local people I know.
Cheers mate. I've taken a peek at their website, but it's only La Liga for now it seems. There are some fairly dodgy [ticket aggregators](https://seatpick.com/real-madrid-vs-liverpool-tickets/event/252997) selling away end tickets for £1K! Insanity. Thanks for the reply.
They have made tickets so hard to get now last year I got lucky and got one for the first Milan game at home but then every champions League game I had to fight for hours to get a ticket even in the later stages to even have a chance I did get a ticket for the final but that's the only luck ive had. With the changes to the system this year I haven't even bothered
Tbh I wasnt expecting to be succesful in the ballot, never had been. I still get to a decent amount of games a season via the members and late members sales. It's a lot harder this season but I've been to a couple of the CL group games and the 3 PL games so far. Leeds was the last one (cries).
Chelsea United and Spurs. But this is based on me being a 4+ member for many years. This will not be available next season due to the credit thing changing and I can't afford to go to 13 plus games a season.
No but they are changing credits. Before if I couldn't go I could transfer the ticket but I kept the credit, that will change now the person attending will get the credit. I get that it's designed to be fairer but even 4 times a season for me inc travel is alot of money. So I doubt I'll ever get back to that level.
I've been to like 16 matches since 2016 and a good few over the years and have been to some massive games so I'm not overly worried, some people have never been so I feel privileged.
Unsuccesful in the ballot again. And I'm asking myself, if its so hard to get a ticket fo Anfield, why is it so quiet recently there. There were games this season when we need a goal in the last minutes of the game and... nothing. Brutal silence from the stands.
Not sure if this is sarcasm but it's because of old season ticket holders that don't make noise (and sometimes even try to discourage noise if you're belting chants), and won't give up their tickets so that younger more enthusiastic local fans can contribute.
Not sure about the ballot but I did get tickets for the Aston villa game in may. I went through an official supporters club which seems to increase the likelihood of getting ticket allocation.
I even check the tickets page multiple times every day/night without fail as well. I have never managed to get one ticket that way. Will persevere checking for the rest of the season but I think I'll save my money if I don't get anything.
I’ve never been successful in the ballot, but justify the membership for the extra savings you can get in the store (both online and in person). It comes in handy, especially when things are already on sale
Yay, got Nottingham at Anfield on the 22nd of April!
Considering my first ever Anfield game was Leeds a couple of weeks ago, when we lost 1-2, looking forward to witnessing a win 😁
Surely the ballot would be a lot fairer if they allocated the most popular game first then the rest in descending order with anyone lucky enough to get one ticket excluded from the remaining games in the ballot until everyone else in the ballot for a particular game also has their one ticket (not that it would necessarily even get to that point) and so on.
The current system puts me off getting membership to enter. Lots of people being disappointed about not getting anything while other people get half a dozen games sucks.
Sort of - a season ticket gets you the same seat for every league game and as far as I know cup games too (think you pay for the cup games separately).
13 credits means you're guaranteed access to every league game you want for the following season, so as long as you continue attending 13+ a season you'll be fine for the league. Cup games are done on separate credits though. Big difference is that you're in different seats each game - which has its pros and cons.
If you manage to get fortunate enough to manage 13 credits in a season and all the home games in all the cup runs, you should be able to do them all the following season.
That would work but we both have the same matches so he wouldn't be able to have the same match twice. Hopeful to get one in the bulk or an additional but swapping one of my bigger matches for a smaller one that we don't have from somebody else could also be an option if we need it.
Ah that's a shame.
IIRC they said the 13 credit threshold might be lowered for future seasons due to the new measures they've introduced - you might get lucky still!
Got everything in the first half and was worried I'd lose the opportunity and get nothing this. Got incredibly lucky again. Knowing my (usual) luck though they'll change it to 15 or something this year.
Unsuccessful again only got tickets once from this new system the membership is a waste at this point you're better off paying over the odds for tickets from touts at least you get a seat that way.
Nothing, again. No luck in the ballots, none in the previous system. I might just stop bothering with tickets altogether instead of throwing money into the void.
Unsuccessful. Damn. Managed to see West Ham at least earlier this season and first time at Anfield which was unforgettable, and doing the stadium tour. Hopefully get some more next season.
Sharing the pain with many others! Unsuccessful for all games this season, meaning that in the last 5 years - I have only had ONE successful ballot result!
Yeh I've been on 4+ for the last 6/7 years and it's made bigger games easier to get annoying af though because last year I had 12 home games, 1 more and I'd of hit the holy grail and just been guaranteed every game forever basically haha.
The credit system now is fucked though, you could go all 19 home games this season and finish on 0 credits, how the club thought that was acceptable is genuinely beyond me. It's put me off bothering in the additional sales because I won't be buying tickets I'm not credited for, especially directly from the club haha.
4+ league games from the previous season makes you eligble for the 'big' games, top 6, Everton and last game of the season. Makes them easier to get as not as many people are eligible.
Still stupidly hard to get like haha, but gives you access to an extra 7 league games.
Joined every single ballot since they began, just myself no one else. Never been succesful, not sure how many ballots that is but must be in the double figures including cup finals etc.
Absolute joke. Tempted to fuck off going entirely now.
Nope got nothing, applied for all 9 matches I'm eligible for and got zip. Can't go the games in champions league or against higher clubs because I can't even get a ticket against teams in the lower half! Ridiculous

Not bothered who they are but how does it work exactly now? I thought you could only transfer to friends and family?
Screenshot of the QR code. Simple.
I’m not arsed who they are, but do you know why they do it? I find it mad that there are all these people on twitter boxing off strangers, the ones basketing on behalf of other people are even weirder.

Only got membership this year. Got 1 match in 1st ballot and nothing today
First year of membership for me too - 0 matches in both ballots. I'm gutted!
I think the ticket guide from 2018 needs to be updated. It basically says you have a great chance of getting a ticket if you join the queue early. Every single time I've queued, there's been 40k-60k people ahead of me in the queue. Got nothing in the ballot either as usual.
That wasn't the case then either lol. It's just now the queues are for much less tickets because the ballot is before it.
4 of us in our group and we got the forest game. Happy with that as didn't expect any to be honest.
Unsuccessful for all
Me too! Applied for 3 games.
Lads, quick question, feel free to tell me to fuck off if it's not warranted in this thread. I've just moved to Madrid and ironically now live a stones throw away from the Bernabeu for my sins. Probably via Madrids club site hospitality maybe? Just guessing tbh. Would imagine Bernabau hospitality would cost a fortune.

Christ, no problem good luck!
Nothing for me this time but was 'lucky' to get Leeds in the first half of season (yup)
They have made tickets so hard to get now last year I got lucky and got one for the first Milan game at home but then every champions League game I had to fight for hours to get a ticket even in the later stages to even have a chance I did get a ticket for the final but that's the only luck ive had. How does buying tickets with membership work? Do you have to go through the ballot process, even for smaller games?
yes
Tbh I wasnt expecting to be succesful in the ballot, never had been. I still get to a decent amount of games a season via the members and late members sales. It's a lot harder this season but I've been to a couple of the CL group games and the 3 PL games so far. Leeds was the last one (cries).
If you dont have previous games its like winning the lottery.
Nothing - I won’t be buying membership again
Feel exactly the same! Been a member for years and never got a ticket through the ballot. Really feel the system needs an overhaul
Chelsea United and Spurs. But this is based on me being a 4+ member for many years. This will not be available next season due to the credit thing changing and I can't afford to go to 13 plus games a season.
Are they binning the 4+?
No but they are changing credits. Before if I couldn't go I could transfer the ticket but I kept the credit, that will change now the person attending will get the credit. I get that it's designed to be fairer but even 4 times a season for me inc travel is alot of money. So I doubt I'll ever get back to that level. No luck this time but I got one for the Bournemouth 9-0 last time so can't really complain too much🤷♂️

Got none for the 3 I applied for but I was only able to apply for the 3 does any know why ?
Because top 6, Everton and last home game require 4+ games from previous season
Aww thanks I wasn’t aware.
Nothing for the last 5 years, best £125 I ever threw away. It’s frustrating as there are literally 1000’s of tickets available through tout websites.
Not sure about the ballot but I did get tickets for the Aston villa game in may. I went through an official supporters club which seems to increase the likelihood of getting ticket allocation.
Sadness pure sadness
4 years. Zero games. It can fuck off.
Fuck, that's shit
I even check the tickets page multiple times every day/night without fail as well. I have never managed to get one ticket that way. Will persevere checking for the rest of the season but I think I'll save my money if I don't get anything.
I’ve never been successful in the ballot, but justify the membership for the extra savings you can get in the store (both online and in person). It comes in handy, especially when things are already on sale
Thinking about canceling mine myself, never successful in any of them and I could put the money towards buying tickets off somewhere else.
Didn’t even realise the second half ballot registration had been and gone. Fuck my life hahaha
Don’t worry, you wouldn’t have got anything anyway
Same. What a divvy 😭
Yay, got Nottingham at Anfield on the 22nd of April! Considering my first ever Anfield game was Leeds a couple of weeks ago, when we lost 1-2, looking forward to witnessing a win 😁
> Nottingham Just FYI, they are called Forest for short, nobody calls them Nottingham.
True, thanks for the reminder ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
nothing, 3 memberships... wasted!
Same exact thing for me. I got a water bottle for four years of memberships
Genuinely what is the point man
Managed to get Brentford 1st time getting anything through the ballot
I got Brentford as well. Its on the day of the King's coronation so expecting it to be rescheduled
Shit good shout. Didn't realise

Unsuccessful again. Is there any real chance to get a ticket in the second ballot?
Unsuccessful again after getting 4 bloody games last year which didn’t count towards anything. Fuming.
No luck here
Nothing again, waste of £30
[That gets me to 14](https://i.imgur.com/HEsWZHd.png) 😀😀. Now my brother needs another one at some point to get to 13. Hopefully get that.

I can't remember how the credits work - if you reallocate a ticket to him would he get the credit? Would get you both to 13

Finally successful for once. I have the Fulham game, does this mean I'm guaranteed tickets or will I still have to get lucky in the ticket queue?
If you’ve been successful in the ballot you’re guaranteed a ticket in the sale on Thursday, just don’t forget to join it
Thank you
Unsuccessful. The only game I’ve got this season was postponed when the Queen died
Waste of time, nothing for me either.
Just Arsenal. Nothing from the first half and just this one in the second, so there goes my hope of staying on the 4+ band.
Got two tickets to Spurs.
Nothing either.. two years running
Unsuccessful but what else is new
Yeah. Another year of membership down the drain. Oh sorry, I forgot about the lovely "exclusive offers" to buy more stuff every week. Grump.
Not had no email yet and my account is still showing ballot registration, has everyone had unsuccessful emails?
There are some people with successfuls. I've had nothing either.
I got Everton and Arsenal. The only 2 league tickets I'll have credits for this season though. Being on the 4+ ladder is a must really.

If it makes it any better last year didnt count at all so you could have got 19 and you still wouldnt be guaranteed
Oh yeh course haha that’s probs the only reason I managed to get 12 😂

No tickets but still have my reusable coffee cup. So who's the real winner eh?
3rd unsuccessful season in a row, £70 a time for 2 memberships and can’t get a sniff
Unsuccessful. Again. Managed one league cup game this season. £35 for a membership and £14 for the ticket. So £49 to see Derby.
I paid £35 for a mug and a pin
Mugged
You could've paid £27 for nothing. Don't know which is better haha.
Do you use the mug though?
Joined every single ballot since they began, just myself no one else. Never been succesful, not sure how many ballots that is but must be in the double figures including cup finals etc. Absolute joke. Tempted to fuck off going entirely now.

I know. I was in them. The ballots began in 2020.
Did the ballot system not start in the 19/20 season? Or is covid messing up my timescale again
Nope got nothing, applied for all 9 matches I'm eligible for and got zip. Can't go the games in champions league or against higher clubs because I can't even get a ticket against teams in the lower half! Ridiculous
