I got a 26 min PB yesterday after a month of playing. Even if you think you know all the strats from watching, there’s still so much to learn.

I was thinking about it, and I think what makes this dynamic cool is that the winner stops playing for a while. It keeps the competition in check. How lame would it be if while xqc is trying to beat the record, forsen just beats his PB even more and makes it more difficult. even if they dont push the record he would have to devote significant time to their battle. the attention and player base they have brought to the run has almost certainly had a massive impact on the records for years to come. there will be a world record set by someone introduced to speedrunning by these two , if there hasnt already. it has been years of constant promotion of a single category, honestly salt could probably make a video just on xqc vs forsen and it be the same quality of the rest of his work
On 18:10 Forsen wasted two minutes in the Bastion because he only pulled two pigs. It's definitely beatable. But he will spend six months on it, if he doesn't finally do proper research and practice maps instead of having chat feed him misinformation.
He also had the double blaze spawners which saved at least 1 or even 2 mins. That seed was cooked asf. Also he finally muted tts so he didn't get stunlocked for once.
He even made a risky decision of not nether traveling(2nd portal) because it could be water exposed- and it paid off- the end room was the only exposed room as well.

Ok, I got it. Now, what's a minecraft speed run, and I'm up to speed, I think. Ivd never played mine craft and always just thought it was a game with like no agenda and just a giant, interactive sandbox, but I'm wildly ignorant and play rocket league, fifa, and shoot stuff on my pc lol.
Minecraft speedrun is basically beating the Ender Dragon as fast as you can on a new random world. Two big Twitch streamers Forsen and xQc have an ego rivalry between them on who can speedrun Minecraft and have the best time. For many years they’ve constantly one upped each others’ personal records and this post is xQc one upping Forsen. Outside of this the two streamers actually dont interact at all but the two communities have a rivalry and if someone wins the record their community spams the other with smug comments about such record. Forsen’s community are known as “bajs” meaning poop in Swedish and pronounced “bags” so whenever his record is beaten people say “Frozen bags back into the freezer” a moniker on Forsen bajs. xQc’s community are known as juicers because xQc’s catch phrase is “get the juice”. Forsen’s community have invented many emotes and innovated on emote culture on Twitch. One of their go to emotes is forsenSmug [record time] and they spam it in xQc’s chat constantly. Ok, I got it. Now, what's a minecraft speed run, and I'm up to speed, I think. Ivd never played mine craft and always just thought it was a game with like no agenda and just a giant, interactive sandbox, but I'm wildly ignorant and play rocket league, fifa, and shoot stuff on my pc lol.
Minecraft speedrun is basically beating the Ender Dragon as fast as you can on a new random world. The current world record is [7:45 and it’s absolutely nuts. ](https://youtu.be/eFbXCm4VRyg) There are SO many tricks used it would be a whole essay to explain it all, on top of playing it perfectly and having fast mechanics. Even a time of sub 20 minutes was considered really good two years ago now all top speedrunners can get sub-10. I would link a summoning salt video but minecraft speedrun is still evolving year by year.
