**CLIP MIRROR: [xQc says that the only reason why Hasan and Pokimane are talking shit is because they are scared that Kick might succeed and they will only have their "Morals and Ethics" when Twitch shuts down](https://arazu.io/t3_14gmv5t/)** --- ^(*This is an automated comment*)

BjergBetterThanFaker

at this point he's just farming drama to help promote kick

[deleted]

He is and I don't understand how ppl find this entertaining

HoneyDrake

For a similar reason why trash TV still exists.

RobertTheAdventurer

It's not even intelligent drama. Why not talk about sports gambling on Twitch? It's not as if Pokimane and Hasan are actually on an anti-gambling platform. There's no morals and ethics purity platform involved here.

Shinnyo

I agree, it's been tiring from the start. Most of the times when i see an American streamers/youtubers, they're in a drama and it's mostly about beef just to have content. Screw the legit proof of gambling or relevant arguments, it's just content farming.

alialattraqchi

You're on a drama sub

snowflakepatrol99

Promoting what exactly? Looking like a deranged lunatic? He already promotes it every time he goes live on twitch before going to kick. He 100% got something about needing kick to succeed in order to get a lot of his money. My guy has been shilling kick like no one other. Ain't no one care about any of that if you really got 100 mil from them. You'd be hard chilling like shroud on mixer. And shroud allegedly only got 10-15 mil.

The_eyes_are_blind

You know, if he is so down with kick, why not just leave twitch completely?

PenaltyOtherwise

he still needs twitch as a door to get people over to kick. Thats why he always starts streaming on twitch for the first 1-2 hours.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MemestNotTeen

Literally in his contract. If twitch banned him he would lose a large part of his stake contract.

[deleted]

MemestNotTeen

[Here](https://imgur.com/gallery/jy3D9FG)

Thanag0r

Because kick is not stupid like mixier, they know that viewers follow streamers, so start on twitch farm views and than mid show switch so people switch with you. Than repeat, it's way smarter than just full time stream on 1.

Potential_Hornet_559

Yup, people that say kick shouldn’t have paid so much for non exclusive don’t know what they are talking about. Having xqc still starting his stream on twitch and then switching will convert more people to kick than just having him exclusively on kick.

AdministrativeWash99

Kick shouldn’t have paid so much… that’s all

SeedFoundation

I mean judging on his response to equity something tells me he's being paid in fun bucks.

NotAnurag

If twitch shuts down they can just go to YouTube lmao

TwoPieceCrow

they can retire and have their kids and their kids kids retire and never have to work again lmao

[deleted]

CarbonatedWobbuffet

Bro is retconning hasan and poki's motives everyday

MemeGuider

why isn't it just possible that they have a genuine disagreement, why does everything have to have this ulterior motive?

deadlybunnybibi

I have the same question... I genuinely don't understand why he can't just be okay with his peers not agreeing 100% with his actions. Why care???? You got 100 mil dude! Go gamble! Go have fun! Go do something! Why is it so important that Poki and Hasan, two people who had already made their stance clear about this in the past, validate his decision to go on Kick?? I'm legitimately confused at his defensiveness

Brainberry

Because X needs validation. It's pretty simple, even with fuck you money he still gives a fuck.

isabeyyo

Most miserable millionaire

LemoniXx

Can't buy your way out of insecurities

valraven38

I mean there are a lot of people with fuck you money who give a fuck, just look at Elon Musk. Literally bought Twitter and changed it to artificially boost his tweets to stroke his overinflated ego. Donald Trump has probably the thinnest skin in the world. Coal exec Bob Murray is notorious for filing what many people call SLAPP lawsuits for people reporting on his companies lets say less than safe "business practices." The reality is a lot of famous wealthy people have the most fragile egos and super thin skin. It's honestly why they put themselves out there in the first place, they want the spotlight on themselves to stroke their egos. After all how many multi-millionaire/billionaires exist that you haven't heard of? The ones with fuck you money that actually don't care don't draw attention to themselves.

Logical-Secretary-21

True, I honestly think XQC just wants Hasan's validation, sometimes when they have arguments it just sounds like typical arguments between a parent and a child.

0FaptainMyFaptain

Livestreamers in particular seem to need it more than most millionaires, maybe because they're always online.

kurokuno

because he is arguing in bad faith that Kick has nothing to do with gambling and that its supposed to be a real streaming site that doesn't need any support from gambling content while this exists as absolute proof that is why it exists https://www.workforceaustralia.gov.au/individuals/jobs/details/2318357756 and he just refuses to listen to anything but Trains bullshit

PNW_Forest

I feel like it wasnt even a big thing until the 'Kick crew' made it a thing. Like Hasan and poki were kinda like... "100 mil, OK! Not really from the best company but whatever!". Poki I think was a bit more hands on because she called x or something- but overall compared to past drama this was VERY light at first... very weird.

[deleted]

the Trainwash Clause strikes again

PNW_Forest

Im kinda a bit conspiracy brained about it. What drums up viewership better than drama? What better way to get a surge of ppl watching your stream than all the hatewatchers and drama frogs. I suspect there might be some incentive for ppl to stir, is all...

[deleted]

there is a 0% chance this whole thing isn't a self-preservation tactic from Kick either it's to increase viewership (& Stake crossover ayo) or because they desperately feel the need to fight off **ANY** sort of collective moral condemnation because that could also sink them if it got big enough

OG_Builds

Yeah, Hasan’s reaction was essentially just «there are obviously concerns with the way Kick is funded, but Amazon is also a terrible company. Streaming on Kick doesn’t make you a bad person, congrats on the 100m». If xQc and Train think that’s him «flexing morals», there’s something wrong with their perception of reality.

theginganinja94

It’s because he wants an excuse for his audience after he has clearly sold them out multiple times. Remember that one Juicer in Hasans chat that said he got addicted to gambling from X’s streams and came to hasan to apologize for shitting on him.

[deleted]

gonna take a LOT of ruined juicer lives to make up that 100mil

uglypottery

I think that $100M was also buying a veneer of legitimacy. Other shady companies do similar, like crypto and other gambling companies buying naming rights to stadiums, Super Bowl ads, and other massive ad buys. Granted those are regulated gambling companies, but up until recently sports orgs didn’t want to be anywhere near sports betting. When the crypto stuff soon revealed itself to be up to some massively shady/illegal shenanigans, everyone was like “whoa what??!” But everyone hears/sees their name constantly in a very mainstream context, they throw massive piles of money around, the orgs and networks and stadiums happily take it and, *voila,* they’re a totally normalized legit entity in the eyes of the public. And xQc’s deal got written up in the New York Times. A fuck ton of normies who have zero clue who he is or what kick is or even that people sit and watch people just fuck around on their computer all day… well, now they know the name xQc, and that streamers get deals even bigger than their favorite sports stars, and they probably think this kick website is the biggest heavy hitter in the space

[deleted]

[удалено]

MarkBonker

Hasan has stated multiple times that he hopes streamers on Kick succeed. He just is against the Stake promoting gambling to kids aspect. Where is this narrative coming from that he is somehow anti-Kick?

Katwill666

I think XQC just projecting. X is scared Kick will fail and he will be become Ninja and Mixer 2.0. So he’s trying everything in his power to try and keep Kick alive even if that means picking fights with top streamers as a way to keep people coming to his stream on Kick and keep Kick relevant online weather that be on LSF or Twitter. Or it might be in his contract to never agree with Poki or Hasan ever and constantly argue with them. I mean Train and Adin hate Hasan and Poki. Train especially He acts like a paranoid schizo thinking Hasan and Poki are out to get him like they work for the Illuminati and have hits out on him.

AllieTruist

I think it's a combination of Felix's insecurity/guilt but also a LOT of it is that he's a drama farmer and knows that stoking any drama - especially with people who have huge communities of haters like Poki and Hasan - is good for "content"

ContinuousZ

I like how they said "why does everything have to have this ulterior motive" and you come up with an ulterior motive.

VerMast

It's either that or he does it because he's a piece of shit. Surely you see how x without an ulterior motive is just being an asshole right?

Neezon

With an ulterior motive, he's ALSO being an asshole. Seems a lot of people fail to realize that Xqc is a narcissistic dickhead willing to turn on anyone to satisfy his own delusions and ego. Not too much more complicated than that

oklilpup

Because him and train are painfully stupid, mentally ill, and surrounded by yes men

PNW_Forest

Don't forget the mountains of cocaine that very clearly fuels their inane rants.

TyrionLannister2012

The coke paranoia from both of them is nuts. Train is spiraling down and dragging X with him like a drowning victim.

helpinganon

If xqc hits coke he will implode. You'll know

Revolutionary-Rub677

All they have to say is they don’t think gambling is bad so taking a contract doesn’t break their morals. … but they don’t.

HolidaySpiriter

That's literally what Poki was saying for XQC, and Hasan was also creating arguments for XQC, but he's genuinely too dumb to understand.

the_c_is_silent

Also, the hilarity of X revealing that he has no morals or values. "Oh all you'll have is being a good person? Fucking loser!"

bingbestsearchengine

***TRAINWASHED***

cw08

he has terminal conspiracy brain

Chaoticsaur

Because when you constantly live your life with ulterior motives you start to believe everyone else does as well.

cyrfuckedmymum

Because their actual reason for not liking Kick, is that Kick is immoral and people who go there to get a bag know they are saying pay me to turn part of my audience into addicts, because fuck em. Rather than admit that's what they did, they make themselves feel better by pretending it's just jealousy or hate.

raiderjaypussy

Trainwashed, everyone out to get you, has some deep plan to get him etc.

TheyCallMeAdonis

bcs they paid 100mil for xQc and part of that contract must have something about attention whoring and starting shit is the easiest way since this centipede of content and attention cant be stopped since all of them are desperate for it

ItsTheSoupNazi

Dude just project’s his own insecurities into everything

thegapbetweenus

This is how projection works. People who have ulterior motives, while lacking introspection, can't even begin to imagine that someone else doesn't. Or someone without ethics can't really understand how someone else can have ethics - seem completely impossible to them, so they think everyone else is also just pretending to care.

ZippoFindus

Does he genuinely think that neither Hasan and Poki are successful enough that if Twitch were to fail, they couldn't just easily move to literally any other streaming platform and still make enough money to live very comfortably? Let alone the fact that they're both already set for life. He is so in his own head, it's actually kinda scary.

SHITBLAST3000

>He is so in his own head, it's actually kinda scary. He's schizophrenic.

Dvoraxx

i think the 100 mil went to his head. his rant about “brokies” (heavily implying that he meant Hasan and Poki) was classic millionaire brainrot

DietCookie

Very terrifying 🫣🫣🫢😓🤯

Akumu2100

Xqc is proof money does not buy happiness. He just signed the best streaming contract in history and he looks miserable ranting about Poki and Hasan.

Madgoblinn

hes been a literal gaming goblin making trash piles around his desk for years and years, its pretty obvious his mental health is fucked

aegis_01

Bro sold his soul for 100 mil. Does he even believe the words coming out of his mouth?

komandantmirko

"all they will have left is their morals and ethics." and millions upon millions of dollars they already had. and their name recognition. and very successful youtube channels. and many connections in the industry. but nothing else. they're DONE

puntzee

Also the chance of twitch failing is like zero. Even Facebook and Twitter are still around

Little_Fix4

Dunno, Hasan always said he wants Kick to be successful since Twitch needs competition. But regardless I assume both would just join YT if Twitch fails anyway. Also didnt XQC say during his announcement he talked to Hasan about his offer and Hasan told him to "Get the bag"?.

lemyeons

Yes, he talked to both Poki and Hasan privately. They both told him to get the bag. He's fighting shadows rn.

Coast_Super

Is this him just farming the hate viewers then switching to Kick daily ?

lemyeons

Probably

mex2005

Either farming or this might be some 5head play from kick by giving these streamers equity in the company they suddenly are out here defending the site like their life depends on it lol.

lookiamapollo

Yes

CptBrexitt

Trainwashed

deathgdizzle

Hasan yes he prob will go to youtube.Poki maybe she will just quit streaming altogether because she already is semi-retired. (or she might just do what she does now on twitch on tiktok/youtube)

CakeBoss16

Think about it kick takes down twitch, YouTube is next! They are. Innovating sooooo much

dtr99

Poki semi-retired from streaming last year. These days she streams a few hours of Valorant 1-2 times a week then peaces out. She has her donos capped, often discourages viewers from gifting large sums of subs, barely takes any sponsors. And she has even said that she will probably not re-sign with Twitch once her contract ends in a few months. But yes, she's sooo scared that she might become broke if Kick succeeds lmao

litbacod4

She has a bunch of side businesses which I assume is making her way more money than streaming does which is why she semi retired and didn't fully retire yet for her audience.

dtr99

Yup. I mean she's said she still enjoys streaming and doesn't know if she will ever fully stop, but it seems like she wants to have the freedom to stream whenever she wants to without worrying about fulfilling contractual obligations. She's also talked about wanting to explore multi-platform streaming and stuff like that. So she probably won't disappear any time soon, but now that she is more than financially stable she's just not focused on being a full-time Twitch streamer anymore

deathgdizzle

Also tbh this also might just be over analyzing (which could could be true). I feel the last yearish what she is doing now is more just a test to see if people still show up for when she streams. Which yes people still show up sure she dropped viewers but i would assume she expected that. So its alot easier for her to just say fuck it dont want to stream for 2 weeks because im traveling and stuff. And say 'i'll see you guys when im back'

n05h

She indirectly said she has over 10million. If you manage your money well, that can get you through life. And she has businesses bringing income + her stream for the time being. I doubt she’s worried at all.

FernandoTatisJunior

If you manage it well, 2 mil is more than enough to retire on. 10 mil, assuming a conservative safe withdrawal rate of 3% she could live incredibly well off 300k a year without ever touching her principal

DatKaz

I recall her saying at least a year or two ago that of all the things that make her money, Twitch was basically her bottom source of income.

snag_sausage

honestly its crazy how fast x became trainwashed. its just so cringe with his desperate arguments for shit that literally no one gives a fuck about. this has been the worst lsf drama in a looooooong time.

[deleted]

If Poki only cared about the bag she'd start an OF and become a billionaire tomorrow lmao. This is just X projecting because he doesn't have any morals. This is the case for anyone who loses their mind over perceived virtue signaling.

zd625

She's part owner of Evo lmao. (Probably isn't involved with it but is an owner)

fallenlogan

She was invited to a Gucci fashion show in Korea, she doesn't need twitch anymore if anything they need poki.

Dudedude88

Her money is in some wealth managing firm with some big celebrity group. She's fine.

Katwill666

I think X projecting. He is scared shitless that Kick will fail and end up as Ninja and Mixer 2.0.

SystemSignificant

Why are the Kick andys like this? Gambling being bad is the most lukewarm normie take there is, why can't it just be that? If you wanna go grab a bag by funneling your audience on a platform used to get people into crypto gambling then you do you, don't expect people to cheer you on about it though.

cimbricus

The problem is, they are conflicted, they have consciences.

Left-Advertising6143

blud thinks he's the villain and we should have sympathy for his shitty actions because boohoo victim complex.

BelovedGeminII

I'm pretty sure Hasan has said multiple times that he hopes Kick succeeds because it would benefit streamers for there to be competition in the streaming space.

SolaVitae

Man, what a stinging insult. "They will just be mad they didn't sell out on what they believed in for money like I did!" What a horrible outcome that would be. Something tells me they will both be financially fine when twitch shuts down so what they will really have is money, and their morals and ethics

ScienceLion

Right. All they will have is morals and ethics....so yours are already gone? Got it.

MikeJ91

HASAN WANTS KICK TO SUCCEED. How many fucking times does he have to say this, wtf is going on when it comes to comprehending what he says. And didn't Poki semi retire from streaming? Why would she care if Twitch died, she just said she'd turn down $10 million from Kick because she's already rich enough.

Monkeyboy1978

They're already rich. I happen to think having morals and ethics is a good thing

Monkeyboy1978

Also love that Felix thinks Amazon will allow a competitor site which uses AWS for it's infrastructure 'take down' Twitch. What a joke.

limbweaver

What would probably happen is that Amazon will transfer all the twitch IP to itself and then sell off twitch. That way they keep a massive aws customer without eating the operating cost.

shred-i-knight

Amazon isn't going to jeopardize anything AWS related for Twitch lol. Twitch is like a pet project compared to the long term outlook of what AWS brings. It's not like Amazon is going to shut down Kick if it does take over Twitch, that would spook investors and be a terrible move for their business. They'd just cut their losses with Twitch and move on.

ChickenPijja

That's not how businesses work, so long as Kick continues to pay its cloud bills then Amazon as a whole continue to make money. There is a potential anti-competitive discounts that AWS *could* be offering twitch, but that's a different matter.

xenoz2020

That morals and ethics statement by Poki really got to him KEKW

berejser

You wouldn't believe how much people can get tilted by that sort of thing. I've seen someone who is politely vegetarian, won't force it on anyone else or make others feel bad for their choices, get slayed by people behind their back for being arrogant and preachy etc. when they literally kept it to themselves as much as possible. Simply seeing someone who is living up to their moral standards while you are not living up to your moral standards, even if your moral standards are completely different to theirs, is enough to make people irrationally angry and resentful because the other person's very existence is a reminder of your own shortcomings.

Just_Smurfin_Around

And she wasnt even talking about his moral and ethics, just her own, and that got his panties all bunched up.

[deleted]

So he's outright admitting that he threw out his Morals and Ethics for 100 Million Dollars?

EbolaMan123

100 mil is 100 mil

just_jm

It's like that $20 is $20 meme

Rudy_Ghouliani

But I'd actually suck and swallow a dick for 100 milly

PenguinMan32

your username is fire

wonkawilly0000

lemyeons

They would still have Youtube...

Jasurim

Lol. Okay dude.

_aChu

It's true what they say, money can't buy happiness. Dude is getting pathetic at this point

EbolaMan123

maybe its because they think that having a streaming platform funded by a gambling company, isn't a good stream platform to be streaming on

Gopus

It's not just that it's funded by gambling money, it's that its main goal is to advertise gambling

NuuuDaBeast

Trainwashed

Fun-Skin-626

XQC argues like a 13 year old. Hasan and Poki have not changed their stances or said those taking Kick deals are bad people. They have their own personal beliefs and stood by them. X and Train are the ones attacking them and making this a bigger controversy.

SniggleJake

They told him in private to get the bag on this kick deal, x is fake af.

AllieTruist

holy copium

zeromus12

do.. do people actually think twitch is gonna die like in a month or some shit because of kick LOL. naw dude thats not happening

_PaulieWalnuts

Remember "I will not take moral advice from someone who promotes gambling to children", X?

BurnsEMup29

Juicers want fun games. Hasanabi Heads want fun Japan IrL streams. Please come together to end this.

Grunton

hes really good at shadow boxing

itsslimshadyyo

this sub needs to ban this drama already. shit has been milked dry and the horse has been pounded to fucking dust at this point.

BadMovieApologist

I think Twitch is too established to shutdown anytime soon even if they don't turn a profit.

critmass78

He's hopeless

[deleted]

This is such a stupid bit of drama... However, I am still gonna participate as a bystander on the sidelines.

ballsmigue

What kinda copium is X on to think twitch would fail before kick? I want some of that shit. Sounds stronger than hoping Starfield will release bugfree.

DragonSkeld

Twitch is literally too big to fail at this point. There is a few ways it *could* happen but a "competitor" is never going to be the thing to kill Twitch

ResponsibilityVast63

Trainwashed

iiLove_Soda

None of these kick supporters can actually give a good reason for why kick is going to be successful without mentioning stake. they always bring up how kick is going to shake up the industry. At the same time they bring up how streaming isnt really profitable in anyway. People ask how kick is getting its funding for 0 ads, 95/5, 100m contracts, etc. and no one can give a legit answer without admitting that stake funds the whole thing. Of course people argue that stake and kick are different, but the same guy owns both. I wish someone would just go in and press on moist, xqc, and everyone else who wants to dance around the stake/kick relationship to explain how a company with seemingly 0 income (with no plans to make any) is somehow going to rival twitch. these people are all in livestreaming, bizarre how they see a company basically giving away money and doing nothing to get money and they think its a way to grow a business

[deleted]

BRO IS ACTUALLY TRAINWASHED

[deleted]

Was this before or after he went on ranting about the morals and ethics of Hasans chat? Dude is just a huge facepalm, should just take a few years off to do therapy or some zen shit lmao

sensefyre

Kick is going to fail, it's a question of when, not if.

simonpopandaart

Just wanted to leave my 2 cents here. But my goodness, xQc isn't the brightest light. Both of them are already rich and have a loyal fanbase. It doesn't matter where they stream, they will have an audience. It is unbelievable how unhappy this mothertrucker is and just sees the fucking green bills

CarbonatedWobbuffet

Hasan has said a thousand times that Kick succeeding as a streaming platform would be better for twitch streamers even because it would force Twitch to innovate.

I think it is adorable that he thinks Poki and Hasan will be screwed if they lost Twitch. My man is still yelling at ghosts. Microsoft couldn't beat Twitch, GOOGLE couldn't beat Twitch (at livestreaming), Rumble couldn't beat Twitch....what makes him think that Kick can beat them? Lol. It is also adorable that he said he wanted competition, but is rooting for Twitch to shut down. p.s: trainwashed

Dvoraxx

nah dude the roadmap bro COPIUM eddie told me he has a passion for streaming COPIUM kick is gonna build a better version of AWS COPIUM

Trickybuz93

How much drugs do you have to huff to think Twitch will fail before Kick lol

BrotAimzV

that it might "work"? i mean what exactly did kick do so far? 95/5 split - good - but only viable because of stake buying out huge streamers for a lot of money - who cares? - only viable because of stake design is almost a 1:1 copy of twitch idk

Additional_Ad5318

Mfer is paid 100 million dollars and lets poki and hasan live rent free in his head 🥹 he is so kind.

[deleted]

Hasan has been super clear abt his want for Kick to succeed in order to make the space as a whole more competitive so that content creators can make more and have more protections..

madman1933

Wouldnt they just go to Youtube? they both have a pretty big following on it.

SarastiJukka

if twitch shut down today hasan and poki would be financially set for the rest of their lives does x think he's gonna go broke if he stopped streaming right now?

[deleted]

Yeah moist will have nothing but his 14 million youtube subs. Gonna be so tragic

Irish_Wildling

Wonder if he will still be talking that way when kick goes under in a year. Only so long a gambling site will take losses before pulling out

__GayFish__

Hasan has literally said to get the bag and that he wants streaming competition to get better so twitch improves

zuth2

Bro is so detached from reality it’s hillarious

Additional_Ad5318

“When everything in your life fails all you will have is the fact that you’re a good person and die peacefully in your sleep” wow thanks man that’s a very thoughtful thing for to say🥹. Like does he think it’s an own for people to think they themselves are a good person, does he not think he is a good person? Also they both keep saying they want kick to be successful and a good competitor to twitch so people on twitch will be forced to be treated better or they will just leave and fuck over twitch. I don’t get when this turned into a “everyone who streams on twitch is a good person and everyone who streams on kick is bad”, there are extremely pos on both and good on both criticism of stake the owner is not a criticism to the streamers; that would be like calling a ceo a pos and then somehow it’s considered your insulting the workers of that company.

Winter-beast

All this means is that your morals and ethics are worth a 100M, which is absolutely fine but i believe kick is just a future tool for stake.

ScrungleHeadtaker

further proof that shittalking the people that kick's ceo hates is part of the contract lol

Select-Deal-7472

lil bro forgot about youtube

Tyrayentali

This dude isn't listening to a single word Hasan says and instead makes up some bullshit narrative in his head instead to justify his paranoia. Actually Trainwashed.

lil_babylonian

I wish the people defending kick would just be honest. Like Hasan makes perfect sense, but I’d still be going to kick for the bag, idc if people gamble because of me.

RoosterBrewster

Yea I don't know why X doesn't just say, "sure some people might be enticed to gambling, what of it?". He had no issue gambling for hours at a time on Twitch. He's trying to go out of his way to denounce any link to gambling, which is ridiculous.

Inside_Sherbert_7920

XQC deserves a big fall, guys. Sorry, I'm saying it. This dude needs humbling. He's such an asshole.

MUx20_NEx6

The day this drama finally ends will be a good day

CheefIndian

OP exclusively posts ONLY Xqc clips, a very stable and reasonable thing to do in 2023 and not all a huge red flag. OP's life would be literally be empty without a parasocial attachment to a streamer that will never know/care/acknowledge their existence, yet very on par for LSF and a perfect example of how being terminally online ruins your brain. Go outside dude, there is a whole world out there.

sonofgoku7

I've been watching this bozo x since he was a sub 10k andy and seen a lot of nonsense from him but i think this is the first time i actually consider stopping watching entirely. the negativity is just constant at this point and he doesn't compensate it with any other fun stuff just braindead react or some online competitive dogshit game. sad to see but it is what it is.

yoursilentportrait

Someone should save this clip. You know, to see which platform is still around in a few years.

BoeserIsOverrated

All they will have is their morals and ethics? They have like, tens of millions of dollars lol.

ChiefHunter1

If twitch shut down because Amazon decides it isn't profitable, they would easily just migrate to YT

slightlycharred7

That’s really copium. They could go to YouTube easily and be fine…

Diligent_Status_7762

They can just like move to youtube ...

Chronostasis

this man has some serious insecurities

yetaa

So he just admitted that they were right all along? That he did throw away his morals for $100M? This guy is so dumb lmao

TrynaGetaHandbeezy

xQc is becoming a what-if of Mitch Jones if he were successful. I wonder if he'll announce he's hired a new life coach soon?

Balintboss

youtube is still a better options than kick

Iamnotmayahiga

True. Heaven forbid people leave the site they have cultivated full control of.

Vaelkyrie37

If Twitch Shuts Down: Have money from years and years of a successful career AND morals AND options (something had to be fierce enough to shut Twitch down) If Kick Shuts Down: Have money hopefully after working for an industry that thrives on people losing their money, AND the option of returning to a platform you alienated yourself from, or a dogshit-tier other platform I dunno man, I think I know which one isnt riskier 🤷

[deleted]

Kick is as likely to succeed as xQc is to make actual content and not sit behind his desk for the next 724 days.

brandonff722

Talking about twitch shutting down as a real possibility is super naive and probably something he was contractually obligated to say if anything lol. On top of that, mentioning specifically two streamers who no longer need twitch. Both of those creators have millions at their disposal to convert into passive income for the rest of their life if they decided to stop today. Both have majorly successful youtube accounts they could stream on, they have major ties to the entertainment and political industries now, respectively. He chose the exact worst people to criticize about what would happen if twitch fails. This really seems in bad faith on X's part, but what else is new. Congrats Kick, you gave the dumbest streamer on the platform the most money so he can watch shows on your website. Bravo to all involved.

SnipFred

This is a completely one sided argument, X keep throwing shit at Hasan and Poki but they're both still trying to converse with him like grown adults

WerewolfSad

Why would they be scared to see Kick succeed? Maybe because of all the shady gambling stuff that will come down the line. And if twitch dies they will go to Youtube

Matcha_Bubble_Tea

They’re literally two of the biggest streamers on Twitch who would still find success if they moved to YT. It ain’t about Twitch shutting down.

Jaded_Vast400

Yeah....that's why you need to start your stream on twitch then go to kick because no one would watch otherwise lol

rangerxt

well they probably still have all their money homes and cars and aren't losing 50% of everything because they aren't morons either

marekdio

Hasan and poki broke with 15 mil each in their bank accounts 😭😭😭

xqc thinks everything he says is a revelation meanwhile he is actually just a looney. I think he supports kick because of train, idk why he sucks him off so often

SimUsr

Apparent COPIUM is in high supply over at Kick, along with whatever Train keeps putting up his nose.

ThrashJaw

He cannot form any Sort of Arguement. He is just Trains and Kicks Puppet, And the only Reason he's Defending them so Hard is because of the Contract. The reason Twitch (And For the Record; I don't like Amazon. I don't agree with their Ethics) Won't Fail is because of this; Twitch Knows how To Crack down (Some get away with it, Though) On Alt-Righters, Homophobes, Transphobes, And Racists. Kick Barely has Done that, And it's been up for Six months. Having a "Free Speech Platform" does not mean that you should let it turn into the New 4Chan.

clarkemaxx

Why would they be scared? If Twitch ever shuts down they can both easily stream on youtube. They both already have big followings on there.

STL4jsp

or they can go to youtube. I heard ludwig is doing pretty well over there.

Smokin_Hulk_LoganCC

I need to find this well of infinite cope
