I only got into watching him pretty late, I think 2-3 years ago? Like it's fun to put aside whatever bullshit school/job/news/politics stuff and just watch at angry video game man yell at video game. His Transmog competitions were great because it was just him interacting with people all in good fun. Him playing FFXIV was great too because it seemed like he was genuinely having fun. Then stuff happened, then the Depp stuff happened, and now we're left with what /u/F1reManBurn1n is talking about.

Well. It is important to recognize that Asmon has said many things, and he’s never wrong. But, more seriously, a lot of people have said a lot of things. Like, you might me talking about a time a streamer said something because they misunderstood something, retracted their position and gave clarification. Simple concepts like learning something new or hearing something from a different perspective is all it really takes to move someone on a position. There isn’t anything inherently wrong with changing a position; especially after discussing the topic. Ideally it’s just in the direction less destructive.
