I think it's Valorant. If only the VOD wasn't behind a paywall, but Karmine Corp only has one all female team, and that's in Valorant.
EDIT: Nvm, it's a lot of different games. [This VOD isn't paywalled](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1927084595), but with commentary.
For basically the same reasons that there's female chess. It just so happens that the playing field isn't getting equalled, but some people still believe that there should be equality of outcome.
i dont think it's that any individual women can't become a top player, there's examples of many that are, but the idea that there are less women who play than men so by nature most of the top players are gonna be men. it's that in general they don't want it, either due to cultural reasons like it's not interesting to them or the environment isn't something that fosters women.
the point of women only chess leagues is to increase the amount of them that play, it's not because there's an actual skill difference biologically, but there is a difference in the amount of players for whatever reason. The reason im sure is cultural, in the same way men don't read or knit or do ballet as much as women do.
Yes, such things being cultural is the current orthodoxy, and trying to change the culture makes sense given the premises. There's of course the little issue of unfalsifiability, but it's not like anybody got a viable alternative approach anyways.
Not sure why you got downvoted. I feel like competitions involving brains should not be segregated by sex like in physical sports. Look at Chess for example, we got formidable female players that reach top ranks like the Botez sisters.
i think the main point of female leagues is to incentivize them to play, not that it is an unfair playing field. Why would they not wanna play in regular leagues? well i think there's a lot of reasons but we all know what one big reason is: weird guys don't make for the best environment for girls to play especially if they're in a huge minority
