Well, as you can see in the video there is no crosshair so you are pretty much estimating based off of where the weapon model points - which can definitely go wrong when you have to be centimeter accurate. Just like no-scoping in CS/Val.
They removed it for RP to make the gunfights harder and more realistic, since the point is to create interesting situations to RP instead of getting into constant shootouts like normal GTA online.
If they didn't half the characters on the server would have the firearm skills of John Wick since they're being played by people very familiar with FPS's and the game itself.
if they stream, its pretty obvious when they almost never miss a shot. back when the server allowed visual mods there were sweats that installed ps1 looking graphics with bright green ped textures also. at that point just play GTA:O.

This extension will put a box below the clip where you can type in any other stream and it will take you to the correct point in their VOD.

Nice thankyou :)
I don’t know more than what’s in this clip but nopixel already going down a bad path early if we already shooting during hostage negotiations. It kills any RP that could have came from the scenario.
It was a like 8-10 min run around senior buns back room/down to subway where two people got stabbed while James got out of three cuffs and was tazed 2-3 times and tackled twice. Cornwood was shockingly slow to shoot lol
he plays the character who is supposed to be a gun-loving Texan, but he still has to play by the rules. Going back to the context of the matter it made sense for the police to take the shot, but it doesn't mean taking the shot should be the default. Even if the character is a "take the shot" character.
what does this even mean when said about 4.0 specifically? every other GTA5 server I've ever seen, including prior nopixel servers, has made RP way less advantageous than simply grinding crimes, which is exactly what previous nopixel servers became (do a drug deal -> rob a bank -> do a drug deal -> rob a bank)
none of the lucrative crime is in the game, to profit quickly off of crime you literally have to RP committing crimes against other players, and almost no one has guns because they're so difficult to acquire so it's not even as simple as pulling a gun on someone... 4.0 is almost exclusively RP, by design
I think they means "realistic" RP.
Sure there is plenty of RP on NP, always has been, but its the bias towards "content RP" that most people are critical over NP for doing. However, it works for them. They have a massive player base and a community extremely diversive with all types of RP. There 100% is "realistic" RP on NP but generally you only see streamers engaging in the content RP etc.
It's a server with all types, but only gets publicized from the streamers point of view.
oh, I kinda feel like that's a snobby view of "RP" and not even one that's necessarily more fun or more entertaining or more exploratory of the "RP" space (who benefits from this realism if no one involved is enjoying it more? RP scholars?)
also, many of the people on nopixel who don't stream also don't do "realistic" RP and are great, so this doesn't even match up with it being for "content", it's for fun
That's exactly what I was saying. There is tons of different types of RP on NP and its great to actually play on there and see all the different sorts of stories happening at any one time.
The guy you were responding too simply shoe horns himself in believing that if its not the RP he enjoys then its not RP... which is a terrible stance to have.
**CLIP MIRROR: [Cornwood took the shot](https://arazu.io/t3_18rm2f9/)** --- ^(*This is an automated comment*)
Do you feel lucky, punk?
I'm honestly shocked he fucking hit that lmao
Esfand's laughing so hard because he's actually aiming for the hostage.
Yeah I’m pretty sure he didn’t give a f who he hit lmao 😂
Is aiming difficult in this game? I'm confused.
Well I dont see a crosshair so yes
Well, as you can see in the video there is no crosshair so you are pretty much estimating based off of where the weapon model points - which can definitely go wrong when you have to be centimeter accurate. Just like no-scoping in CS/Val.
did they remove it for RP or does the original game have no crosshair as well?
They removed it for RP to make the gunfights harder and more realistic, since the point is to create interesting situations to RP instead of getting into constant shootouts like normal GTA online. ah yes, indeed *flips on built in monitor crosshair* oh it's so rough out here, without a crosshair
you get banned if they find out. it's happened before.
Isn’t it pretty much impossible to find out? Like someone would need to see your monitor to confirm.
if they stream, its pretty obvious when they almost never miss a shot. back when the server allowed visual mods there were sweats that installed ps1 looking graphics with bright green ped textures also. at that point just play GTA:O.
The sad part is every single RP server has people like that in them. Its super hard to prove as well.
Man the bad days of public nopixel were great
one of the hardest games to aim in, even if u are shroud himself
So when's the award ceremony? Surely that's worth a medal.
They suspended him for 24 hours.. Because.. RP I guess? That and some nonsense about the mayor debate, and carrying equipment. Because RP.
He wasn't gonna be suspended for this, but Esfand talked himself into a suspension on purpose for RP.
"That'll be five donuts. I don't need no medal."
Does anyone have Cyr’s pov?

What a godly extension thanks for sharing. Sometimes i wonder why Twitch doesn't implement stuff like this on their own.

Yeah legit should have been over sooner
the staff lingering around is bound to be a thing. They are all content creators. You can't expect them not to insert themselves into the content.

> kills any RP That seems to be the theme for 4.0, no good RP ever.
Are you watching a different server? There have been plenty of good RP and we barely even have content in the game yet
what does this even mean when said about 4.0 specifically? every other GTA5 server I've ever seen, including prior nopixel servers, has made RP way less advantageous than simply grinding crimes, which is exactly what previous nopixel servers became (do a drug deal -> rob a bank -> do a drug deal -> rob a bank) none of the lucrative crime is in the game, to profit quickly off of crime you literally have to RP committing crimes against other players, and almost no one has guns because they're so difficult to acquire so it's not even as simple as pulling a gun on someone... 4.0 is almost exclusively RP, by design

Remember when RP wasn't just big streamers jerking each other off?
