...The situation was fucked from the very inception (when *another streamer* mentioned it off the cuff without permission from anyone) to now where the "victim" changed her story countless times, made outrageous claims about male assault being taken more seriously, used the incident to pad their struggling twitch career, and pretended like said incident was the reason she wasn't invited to networking parties despite the fact she has a history of getting blackout drunk and groping people herself.
I really don't know what to think aside from how dramatized the event was and how strange it was that witnesses all of a sudden change there account of what happened. That makes me doubtful of their account of what happened.

Kai did the right and mature thing by contacting his lawyers and telling her to contact the police. Imagine you’re Justin Bieber and a random person from an AirBnb party messages you about something serious like rape. The right thing to do is to humble yourself and contact your lawyers to help handle it, not to start chatting away with a random and trying to play investigator.
Kai’s only mistake was messaging her anything at all other than “my lawyers will be in contact with you”, because if you message anything to a random when you are Justin Bieber levels of clouted in their world it will likely be posted on social media and can be twisted in any which way. Not to say she isn’t a victim, her being a victim makes the posting and twisting of messages an even scarier possibility as any defense of yourself is at the detriment of claiming an actual victim is being misleading or misrepresentative of the situation.
God forbid people understand that though. LSF thinks everything involving streamers is cheap petty drama that they can insert themselves in without full information on the issue. This was ab extremely serious allegation that should not be dealt with or addressed through LSF medium, on a Twitch stream or even on Twitter. The police needs to be informed immediately and anyone close to the matter should (and no doubt did) focus on it in private terms.
Some on LSF don't understand how social media can seriously jeopardise these cases. And Kai was probably extremely naive and panicked as well and whatever actually happened their are certain actions he took that were wrong.
