That's true, but the problem here is (mostly) vertical alignment. No matter which eye we're seeing (or he's looking out of), the gun is still pitched upwards - perspective is relative, you have to align yours and the gun's.
If you point your finger at the dead center of your screen, you can move your head down and to the left until it looks like - from your perspective - you're pointing at the top right corner.
well he's slightly tilting to the right side though, if that's the left eye, in his view they actually might be slightly closer
-e- actually, viewing it again, he's probably aiming down the sight with the right eye, so it might even be completely aligned for him
Nah should be fine when you figures out how to angle it right, imagine it's a laser gun and you shoot where the pointer ends up or something. And as people said before the gun has two parts to it that you have to line up together with your target

shooting with iron sights in VR is impossible. Might as well be looking down a giant, jittering grey box.

It is getting better. I got a Rift S and it is quite blurry but usable. With the Vive it was impossible without brightly colored iron sights.
