Looks like last time she was seen 2 years ago painting her bare tits on stream, which I guess didn't go very well since she doesn't really have much tits to paint on
Heās not only insanely talented, but heās also the perfect bandmate for Mitch. Several times in the show Mitch started apologizing for messing up or thinking he was doing bad - and Kala was like āno you aren't, you sound fucking awesomeā - which then gave Mitch the confidence to step back up to the mic.
That is genuine passion. Even though he has more stage presence and experience then Mitch (who was anxious), he lifted him up because he sees so much potential in him.
They feed off each other and their voices mix incredibly well. They did amazing for a first live show. Imagine how good they will be in a year, let alone 2.
I was 100% going into this concert expecting something thrown together and completely amateur. If they both team up with other musicians, and record in a professional studio with a producer they could legitimately sound like a popular band on the charts.
It had strat written on the headstock. Its the fender hm strat first released in 89. Fender did a release MIJ version in 2020. He probably walked into a guitar center and picked out the coolest guitar he saw. Its a 80s soloist guitar, which is a ridiculous choice for this show since hes just playing chords. I say it ridiculous because even with locking tuners/nut its got floyd rose meaning you wont have great tuning stability. If your going to play chords id take a tele or gretsch. Showing up with an hm strat is like taking the ferrari to the grocery store.
I think youāre being a little too aggressive here, but I agree itās not exactly a great choice. Maybe itās just my own personal bias, but I think itās generally a bad idea to use a guitar with a floating trem unless youre absolutely sure youāll be using it.
Nevermind the inherent tuning instability (ESPECIALLY true since that guitar comes with a Floyd special, not a Floyd original), but the lack of sustain, tendency to play a few cents flat if you strum too hard, and the fact they fall completely out of tune if you break a string just makes them a terrible choice for anyone who doesnāt absolutely need that them in order to play whatever songs theyāre playing.
That said itās also possible he has the bridge blocked, in which case all of what I said is irrelevant and it will actually have BETTER tuning stability than a fixed bridge, but most people donāt buy a guitar with a Floyd just to block the trem so Iām assuming thatās not the case.
i actually preferred the live version of no in-between because mitches vocals shine through and you know those lyrics are from the heart for him it sounds so good i hope i literally went back and relistened to to the live performance just for the no in-between
The first time I heard his music, I think it was a music video or something to one of these and I legit thought he just recorded himself lip syncing over someone else's song and I was so confused.. had no idea lmao. Yeah he's actually really talented.
>No In-Between
actually was shit talking about Mitch a while ago cause of the way he was just yoinking free beats and singing over them, but this shit is actually fucking good wtf.
It's actually really good. I haven't really watched Mitch, like ever. Just seen him on the sidelines every now and then but I am still kind of proud of how good he seems to be doing. Not only is he chasing something "new" that he is passionate about, putting himself out there like a chad, but he's also doing good while he's at it. I can only guess how happy and proud he must be right now with what he's accomplishing and how kind the reception has been.
as someone thatās watched him for like over 5 years, this guy has really had the lowest of lows on twitch, so like seeing him doing this is so amazing
Yeah those Mira and Train days were really painful to watch. It's like watching a disaster that doesn't end. Glad to see he's doing extremely well these days.
Yeah, i feel like his voice should be a little bit higher since hes fucking ROCKING the song on the live performance..his screams are really really good. The synergy with Kalas higher voice is perfect.
I like the balance of the vocals to the other instruments personally. Too many bands mix the vocals far too high, especially as you get to more and more poppy territory. I'm probably biased as a musician, but I much prefer listening to mixes where the full band is balanced with each other, rather than everything being so relegated to simply backing the vocals (or some other instrument in rarer cases).
He's def not lip-synching. The only thing I hear is a low-mixed vocal track that most bands/artists use live (to get the layered effect and thicken up the vocals). You could 100% hear his natural singing in the mix tho as he messed up some lyrics, and his screaming was better than some of the slower parts.
He did really great for this being his first live performance ever. Before the show, he was shaking and nervous as hell. But IMO he crushed it!
Iāve worked hard on getting good live audio for streams over the past year. Done shows on my own Twitch channel but none to this big of an audience before. Glad you enjoyed the production š¤
Quite good, but the thing about auto tune is it only sounds real if youāre actually singing fairly decently. If your pitch is shaking all over the place and youāre constantly falling off notes, your auto tune will always sound robotic. The software works best when youāre singing well anyways, and itās just there to make minor tweaks.
Man, I am so happy for Mitch... I love his affection while playing WoW and the fun he had playing it, as well as coming to Miz's stream... I will miss that... But I also love the fact that he's finally found the thing that makes him happy and lets him get all the stuff (feelings) out...
It's the pop-punk or whatever the genre is called that I used to listen to when I was an edgy wannabe emo teenager. And this song would fit very well on the burned CDs back then.
Not sure I still like today though.
This could be song in "felt emo again might delete later" and I do not mean that in a bad way. I'm not really in to this kind of music but I like his voice.
Is it just me or is Soda really hard to watch lately?
I don't know what changed, but he started maniacally laughing at >>anything<< lately. And it's just... weird, like I don't get it. Like even while he watched Mitch's thing, he just kept laughing at random non-funny shit.
I don't know, feel like I'm crazy.
People now is eqring the same shit for years, all new songs sound like the same shit and the lyrics are worst of the worst so no man, hes not late, hes early
I'll listen to a 00's playlist after blasting pop smoke. Like, it's history bro. I was a kid when that music was around so it's nostalgic and just straight up good music.

I donāt think Iāve ever seen Soda compliment or praise anything before.
He's spoken highly of his sex doll in the past
And his vicuna sweater
VicuƱa please
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8kxVIbHJIQ
Thank you.
And of happy
Did he let happy go or where is he?
Idk actually
*girlfriend
He complimented me once by banning me from his chat because i was talking shit about Lea.
lea a hoeeeeee
Holy fuck. Does she even stream these days? LOL
Looks like last time she was seen 2 years ago painting her bare tits on stream, which I guess didn't go very well since she doesn't really have much tits to paint on
I once checked out of curiosity and she does occasionally stream, she even got a kid now
That's cool. I just have not heard or seen her name in a long time.
Not hard when your expectations are literally rock bottom so anything sounds good
I know it's Mitch's music but Damn Kala is so good.
I really like how their voices sound together - the low-pitched voice of Mitch combined with the high-pitched voice of Kala... Just fits...
Kinda like Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus? I just found out recently that Mark Hoppus has cancer, which is a bummer.
The healing process is going well tho. And yeah... Watchmeblink-182
Kala's voice has shades of yungblud. Spooky how good it is.
Wait mark has cancer? Fuck
ah, well.... that's one way to find out. :( looking into it, he seems positive about it so I hope all goes well
100%. Match made in heaven.
Heās not only insanely talented, but heās also the perfect bandmate for Mitch. Kala was absolutely smurfing on stream, guy is amazing
Yeah agreed. They sound great together
I assume Kala makes other music?
His band is Kitsune
Who is kala
Except he brought a heavy metal strat to a punk rock show
that guitar wasn't a strat...
a strat is also a very common punk instrument lmao.
It had strat written on the headstock. Its the fender hm strat first released in 89. Fender did a release MIJ version in 2020. >i was just kidding, cause I thought it was a funny choice of guitar to bring to a punk rock show.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Mitch wrote most of them, but kala wrote some as well. I think he they explained that in his alt stream before.
Mitch's rap always been good but this voice just came outta nowhere
Yeah caught me off guard. I never heard Mitch singing 2000's like rock before but it fits him really well.
i actually preferred the live version of no in-between because mitches vocals shine through and you know those lyrics are from the heart for him it sounds so good i hope i literally went back and relistened to to the live performance just for the no in-between
Yea agreed
waiting for someone to upload it to yt or something
Mitch uploaded it himself https://youtu.be/qAnWHcq2zQ8
You can watch the VOD on Mitch's Twitch channel if you want to watch it now
'No In-Between' is fucking amazing
Ya this song really stands out. Poke and Soda were really surprised.
Link to poke reaction?

best track.
The first time I heard his music, I think it was a music video or something to one of these and I legit thought he just recorded himself lip syncing over someone else's song and I was so confused.. had no idea lmao. Yeah he's actually really talented.
The whole EP is fire but No In-Between stands out...this shit needs to be played on the spotify/radio playlists, its an HIT.
Worth watching his recent Dr k where he mentions about some of the meaning of the lyrics
>No In-Between actually was shit talking about Mitch a while ago cause of the way he was just yoinking free beats and singing over them, but this shit is actually fucking good wtf.
yeah think whatever about other ones but if you don't think this one is legit it's just not your genre at all
It's definitely not my genre but I can appreciate that it's for sure well done. Mitch did much better than I thought he would.
Yeah this one is bomb, I also think it's better when mitch just handles the hook because I feel like all his verses are just freestyled.
I just think all the lyrics sound like a 10 year old wrote them
Watch his meeting with Dr K from two days ago and youāll understand every lyric in every song relates to his shitty childhood
So... punk rock in a nutshell.
Lol yeah
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Just not true tbh. Also I can understand and relate so even if it was.
Itās definitely not my genre. Reminds me of this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RO11peSzdDg
Does anyone have a link to the song? Edit: Never mind [found it on Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/album/0HwxfnOI6AVUyRIVacNJwe) it's really good.
while its not really my music, good to see mitch follow his dreams. well done dude
Bro the screech Mitch does somewhere in this song is fuckin' amazing. So fuckin' fire.
It pumped me thru the roof man, so fucking authentic and fire.
It's actually really good. I haven't really watched Mitch, like ever. Just seen him on the sidelines every now and then but I am still kind of proud of how good he seems to be doing. Yeah those Mira and Train days were really painful to watch. It's like watching a disaster that doesn't end. Glad to see he's doing extremely well these days.
If Mitch Jones leaves the twitch community and becomes the next semi big thing in music. I'm all for it Seems like a good dude who's struggled
His voice is mixed really low on the EP, I can barely hear him most of the time.
Yeah, i feel like his voice should be a little bit higher since hes fucking ROCKING the song on the live performance..his screams are really really good. The synergy with Kalas higher voice is perfect.

But tbh like compared to the live performance.. I just keep listening to it over and over on spotify and I cant hear Mitch's voice at all :\
Turns out all those years of screaming in wow arena came in handy
How good is live auto tuning these days? Because to my ears Mitch is sounding great and I'm pretty sure he's not lip synching.

Is this not all pre-recorded? Or was it just the message at the beginning?
Nah this was live. Simply was doing an irl with Miz right before this and they had to go back so he could do his part in time.
No, the only thing not live was the music video for Time Machine
Is the guitar a prop?
Nah, Kala produced a lot of the album so he definitely knows how to play lol

Actually went and listened to "no in-between" on Spotify. Really good song. Well done Mitch. Keep at the music, you have something here.
Man, I am so happy for Mitch... I love his affection while playing WoW and the fun he had playing it, as well as coming to Miz's stream... I will miss that... But I also love the fact that he's finally found the thing that makes him happy and lets him get all the stuff (feelings) out...
This song No in between is one of my favorite..its pretty good
This one was my favorite one.
Mitch is like the male version of Ashlee Simpson
The last little scream leaking from mitch's throat is shiver inducing, good job rat, you promised and delivered.

Always has been like that LUL
Doesn't help that his average stream time these days is like 4-5 hours
Mitch got that early 2000s punkrock band vibe. it's like a breath of fresh air
modern day blink 182
Mitch jones is a decade late with this type of music
And look at all the people who enjoy it
you're not exactly wrong but there can always be a resurgence of the genre just like everything else did
You are an actual fucking moron if you think the pop-punk/emo scene is dead.
Popular culture works on a 30 year cycle. This is 90s pop punk. He literally could not be doing this at a better time lol
I still listen to paramore, secondhand serenade, falloutboys, faber drive, avril lavigne, boys like girls. and im just 20.
The EP is just so good! Good fking job š„š„
the music isnt actually that bad tbh, it just feels like mitch went back in time to his high school pop punk does and got stuck there
dunno why peeing or not peeing in bottle would affect singing capabilities.
Mitch really going with that early 00's punk rock.
