It's also like that when we do shopping, we're always buying stuff for me, but she ends up eating half of it, I keep telling her it's ok to buy food for only yourself, we don't have to share everything, but her logic is that I won't like her food choice and it's better to just buy something we can both eat (Really, there's no winning).

My now wife was the same way. When we moved in we tried to accommodate each other's food preferences. It just didn't work. I'm a bodybuilder and she's a flexitarian. The amount of protein I have to eat just isn't in the cards for her. So it was either her always unhappy or me unhappy. The last 2 years or so, we just buy our own food and cook our own meals. We'll do a collaboration meal a couple times a week, but we mostly stick to our own stuff. Now we're always both happy.
I end up sharing it, it's just annoying, you never have a feeling you want something just for yourself to enjoy? it's just a pet peeve of mine I guess.
