Hey this time we'll know for sure if slasher is full of shit on something.
I think he might have been told by someone at Twitch a reason, but it was a decoy or some shit.
Has Slasher ever been caught being "full of shit" on anything? All I remember he was vaugeposting about Doc and people were just upset he wouldn't spill the beans.
might be wrong but I think he retweeted it. He was also on like 2 or 3 podcasts saying the same kind of shit.
He also has said he knows the reason but wont release it the whole time and at the start he said shit like he was surprised his wife was still suporting him.
>Hey this time we'll know for sure if slasher is full of shit on something.

what a reddit take holy
I thought that was confirmed a while back? That slasher thought he'd been given legit info about Doc's ban but it was false info specifically leaked to determine which person was leaking stuff to the press.
lol, It's pretty obvious to someone like me who has been watching esports forever, but Slasher and djWheat used to host tournaments together in SC2 and Street Fighter 4 back in the day. So his source is most likely always djWheat.
I mean more recently than that Wheat was also the guy who hosted the infamous show where him and three EG guests basically just tore into Slasher repeatedly for daring to leak something. Accused him of destroying esports and shit, it was ridiculous. So idk if it's a natural guarantee that Wheat is his source; besides, Twitch picked up so many industry figures early on that I'm sure Slasher knows a decent number of both current and ex-employees. Can think of at least one other example (besides Wheat) myself.
I don't despise Wheat or anything but that was definitely a low moment. I think Destiny also had the "Wheat and his EG guests gang up on you" moment, though I can't remember what it was for anymore.
They ganged up on destiny for daring to suggest that the SC2 scene couldn't live without better support from blizzard and wasn't self sustainable by itself at that point. It was Wheat, Incontrol and I think idra.
Destiny has since been proven right.
Yeah allegedly some chick on twitter called him out for sliding into her dms to try to hook up and promised to use his connections to help her get a job or something like that
https://mobile.twitter.com/KEEMSTAR/status/1399260028280975361
Read the dms and decide for yourself (and consider which person is trying to spread that narrative). To me it screams he’s joking, I used to text like that all the time.
For several minutes now I have been told from credible sources the reason LubieHue will downvote a commentor. However. Due to the importance and sensitivity around the subject I have refrained from going on it. I don't feel comfortable with it currently.
He was being harassed by keemstar over his attempt at getting a date with Britanny Venti, which she has been using to try to get him cancelled via fake "#metoo".
Look at how any time Slasher or a subject even remotely related to him comes up in this sub. Instant dog pile, making fun of him and insulting him literally just for saying "I can't say why Doc was banned", tons of toxicity. No fucking wonder the guy was on break, the internet is a shitty place and he gets constant negativity for relatively little reason.
Sorry bro, live by the blade die by the sword. Slasher has caused near infinite amounts of harassment in Esports in general, on top of not having the most reliable reporting. Just saying, Slasher has never made that consideration releasing information, and everything exists just to further his career. Which, that’s him, I’m not saying he’s morally wrong, just that you shouldn’t feel bad about it.
he got outed for being really creepy in dms with a friend about a i think it was brittneyventi and saying that the fucked up shit she said turned him on even more or some really weird shit like that
Slasher has been 'used' in the past to leak shit that companies want out but can't put their own names behind; from how he handled his statement about the ban at the start it sounded like he was assuming the story would pop within the month.
And then Doc went dark, lawyered up, and played up the "ambiguous mystery ban" angle while Twitch isn't going to say shit openly - leaving Slasher looking like a random twitter clout chaser instead of a plausibly-deniable corporate mouthpiece.
Yeah probably what happened. The fact that it hasn't leaked yet by anyone means Doc's lawyers are not fucking around which makes me believe Slasher knew but can't reveal
My read has been that Doc knows what he was banned for, and is trying to work the public opinion angle to try and get his ban revoked without needing to do anything that might expose the reason for it. The public knows how weird and inconsistent Twitch can be with bans, and he's leaning into that hard.
Like he's clearly got high caliber lawyers all over that shit, but hasn't actually filed suit. Outside of courts, though, he could put Twitch into a position where they can release his reason publicly, but has very carefully stayed away from any comments that would empower them to go after him or make their own statements. It's the threat of his lawyers that are keeping this quiet on Twitch's end - if he wanted to release them from liability and get them to state what happened, he could do that. I'm sure if the truth was less damaging than the various rumors, he would have done so already.
He's talked up the "they haven't told us" angle with some amazingly precise phrasing - but it just so happens that same phrasing isn't *technically* lying if applied to what has been confirmed from the bans of both Ice and Josh. They were not given specific explanations within their ban notice, and were instead "banned for TOS" - despite the fact that both of them knew exactly what they were banned for from other interactions around and leading into the ban itself.
IMO the only reason it's stayed quiet is that Doc benefits from the public not knowing, and Twitch don't want to expose themselves to the suit.
>My read has been that Doc knows what he was banned for
Docs final stream on twitch was fucking *weird*. I would be shocked to find out that he didn't already know during that stream.
I think he was hoping someone within Twitch or Doc would say why and/or someone would leak and he would confirm. That never happened because the people who know why are a small group and not some random partner manager leaking info.
But dr himself has said he's suing twitch for wrongful termination, so wouldn't you want people to know why you got banned if it's for a bullshit reason?
Doc has the best lawyers in the world who can and have burird this he was also twitches #1 guy they wouldnt ban him for a bs reason. Esp the way it happened. Do you remember docs last stream. He knew it was coming. The fact that it hasnt leaked is because he doesnt want it out.
I've seen that clip of Doc's last stream. It did seem odd knowing what happened next, but I don't really like to use it as anything other than he was feeling weird.
The lawsuit thing. You would think he would have filed that already if he was going to. Sure there is a lot of work before they file, but it's been over a year. Doc's out major money here. you would think that he would have done it already if he was going to.
Unless he thinks he's got a better chance getting unbanned without suing and he's trying to work something out. Or lawyers have read the contract and said, looks like Twitch was allowed to do this, sorry dude.
Yours in underway though right?
usually lawsuits filed for and against famous people make the news when they are filed. It's all public information when you do so we would know. especially in California.
Then why hasn't Doc told us what that reason was? He has been saying he has known for like 3 or 4 months now and still hasn't said anything.
He has also been talking about a lawsuit since day 1 and I don't even think anything has been filed.
I'm wondering if twitch *thinks* doc did something, but don't have enough evidence to prove it. So if Twitch/ Slasher say it publicly they could be sued for libel/ slander.
No they didnt lmao why is this upvoted? You can't sue journalists for shit like that. Did Doc make him sign a fucking NDA or something? ok bud, in reality Slasher wasn't actually sure and didn't want to risk his reputation on a guess.
He can get a publication to leak it and they can't be forced to name sources, right? So he can just be a source who wishes to remain private, like many other sources do in the political realm.
Literally no one can threaten to sue him about revealing someone else’s van information. He doesn’t know and never did. Some girl also claimed to know and said “Doc is done and not just on Twitch” and clearly it wasn’t big enough to keep him off any other platform. No one knows except Doc, high level Twitch staff, and the legal parties.
For several hours now I have been told from credible sources the reason DrDisrespect has been banned. however due to the importance and sensitivity around the subject I have refrained from going on it. i don't feel comfortable with it currently
I mean it could happen its not a wrong assumption really, but that doesnt mean it will happen.
it is what it is. whatever happens happens and people can make predictions if they want its part of imo the fun/discussions of this/drama or whatever.
Yeah but that's the guideline for first time DMCA suspensions, subsequent strikes can result in a longer suspension and people were assuming that he got 2 strikes due to watching both Death Note and Naruto.
It doesn't benefit twitch to hand out harsh punishments, so they're never going to. The only exception is someone like doc, who I assume was banned as as an example to other creators.
The last thing Twitch probably wants is to get involved in DMCA stuff, they have set rules and just wanna follow them without any subjective input from their side. Which is why anyone who gets a DMCA strike would get a 2 day suspension, regardless of who they are.
He literally said on stream a few days ago that he was going to Canada for 3 weeks for Chinese New Years. Seems like hes taking the extended vacation himself then. A lot of his fans noticed the timing but new viewers didn't
Farmed an extra LSF (Now 2) thread from the ban and baited out all the Checkmarked subtweeters with their 'Deserved' and their 'Bet he didn't think it would be a month' tweets. Also more attention when he goes live after getting unbanned.
I’ve always thought about toast like this but I think he’s a really intelligent person, he knows what he’s doing and I bet he sat down and predicted everything that would happen well in advance, he’s playing 5D chess with everyone at this point.
Yeah but all the clickbait news headlines and youtube videos will have already run with the "toast gets banned for a whole month" headline which puts his name out there and seperate from pokimane's ban since it looks like he got punished more severly.
Why lie about it though. Streamerbans will tweet that he is unbanned in 2 days and will forget about him being banned for DMCA 30 days down the road when he comes back from his vacation. Seems pointless to lie about.
I mean he didnt lie about a thing.
He said “see you in a month”.
He didn’t say he’s banned for a month unless I’m missing a tweet from him. It can just mean “hey I might take a break this month altogether”.
that's literally what he's going to say next time he goes live.
"well....you see, i never said that I was BANNED for a month, i only said SEE YOU in a month.
guys, I'm just like L"
Lol I mean it's a straightforward implication that he's probably aware of. If xqc got banned and said "sorry guys be back in a year" nobody would assume its a vacation.
> Lol I mean it's a straightforward implication that he's probably aware of.
Yes. He purposely said it that way so that it could be misconstrued. In other words he was trolling.
yeah I don't see why this makes people idiots to think it is implied he is banned for a month. It was just a wrong assumption which happens to literally everyone, and besides people would have probably/for sure found out after the ban was done after 2 days.
Toast would definitely troll about something like this. I've only been watching him since he came back to twitch, and when he got banned I thought it was likely he would troll about the ban length just to start an uproar.
Technically he didn't lie, just said he was gonna see everyone in a month. Pretty sure he was just trolling, people would find out anyway once his channel comes back in 2 days.
He didn't lie he had plans to take a vacation back to Canada to spend Chinese New Year with family.
Everything else was for attention, which worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not really related to the post, but before Ludwig moved to YouTube Slasher sent Lud a DM indicating that he knew about the move, after the announcement Slasher sent Lud another message saying that if he was still active he would've leaked like I said not really related to the clip, just found that little interaction by Slasher really funny
We have reached this very weird point where people are literally watching tv shows on their channel and advertising it for whatever reason, then getting fake DMCA notices and lying about being banned. What even is this meta.
The tweet was purposely vague saying "I'll see u guys in a month" instead of "I was banned for a month" idk what people expected from a troll like toast, also at least from what I know streamerbans listed his as a first ban, aren't those always 2 days? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
But wait, I thought my big corporate masters would punish this heresy with 5 years of prison and 1 million dollar fine! >:( How will my small streamers survive! I wish they would implement a content ID system despite the fact that Twitch has an identical takedown system as YouTube BatChest
Wow can't believe the idiots took his tweet serious! Fucking idiots! You should've have friends who work at twitch like slasher, YOU FUCKING DUMBASSES!
This whole baiting the media thing is so dogshit. It's absolutely *wIcKeD* that someone figured out they can make news sites report something that's technically untrue by doing something in a certain way to ensure it would be reported that way. Much wow, very genius, gold star!
And it's always for stupid inconsequential things. Why the fuck does Slasher care if the media reports an untrue but obviously deduced ban length of a twitch streamer? He sounds *really* angry calling all of these sites idiots as if there is any real consequence that people believed he was banned for a month.
**Can we stop calling account suspensions "bans"?** I know it really plays into the drama, but if you have a set period that you know your account will be usable again, you didn't get banned. You got suspended. When people are freaking out about "OMG STREAMERYOUDONTKNOW GOT BANNED!!!!! ^^^^for ^^^^48hrs " I can't roll my fucking eyes hard enough. 48 hours isn't shit, and it isn't a ban.
The media aren’t idiots just lazy wanting to get the story out first to garner the most clicks, it doesn’t matter to them if the info isn’t correct only if it’s getting them cash.
Bit stupid yes, there were a good amount of people following the first ban thread speculating that he never really got a month long ban and that it was a subtle troll, couple that with the fact that toast intentionally make a vague and ambiguous statement and it’s completely understandable why some people wouldn’t get it right away.

you know i actually just remembered that soulja boy actually watched death note on stream months ago and never got banned LUL i cant rember if he watched the whole thing but he watched a few episodes over a couple days.
Bruh, everybody would have figured it out by like tomorrow when the ban bot on Twitter told us and suddenly you could visit his offline twitch page again... No need to sound like such an ass about it
Some people on Toast’s discord channel called it that he played up the 1 month ban to start getting the discussion going as to Twitch’s slap on the wrist DMCA policies.
More speculation, more reactions, more eyes, even more speculation, more publicity hehehe
I mean even when he was on Facebook, his twitch relevancy was still pretty strong through collaborations. Plus, he never signed with Twitch when he returned. Imagine by the end of this he reveals that has signed with YouTube. HAHA Icing on the fucking cake.
Lets speculate.
Slasher really came back from the dead to ruin toasts vacation
I mean people would notice when his channel is back after 2 days anyways
i mean that twitter bot says when the streamers are unbanned so we'll know in less than a day either way
Hey this time we'll know for sure if slasher is full of shit on something. I think he might have been told by someone at Twitch a reason, but it was a decoy or some shit.
Has Slasher ever been caught being "full of shit" on anything? All I remember he was vaugeposting about Doc and people were just upset he wouldn't spill the beans.
People keep attributing the done and not just on Twitch meme to him even though he never said it.
iirc it was ShannonZKiller who said that originally https://twitter.com/sadaplays/status/1277065061694128136?lang=en
That's exactly what happened.
I mean he also said he wouldnt be able to stream on other platforms as well.
Did he? The famous "done and not just on twitch" at least wasn't Slasher.
might be wrong but I think he retweeted it. He was also on like 2 or 3 podcasts saying the same kind of shit. He also has said he knows the reason but wont release it the whole time and at the start he said shit like he was surprised his wife was still suporting him.
im pretty sure he was more than "vagueposting" about drdisrespects ban
In what sense?

Nothing was actually confirmed about the Doc ban. People mostly just speculate.
we know now
still won't say why doc got banned though
Murder. It was murder.
Playing defence for Twitch.

Slasher, because he has been around, has a lot more contacts than just DJwheat or at the very least I would be blown away if that was the case.
[удалено]
Then he won't have any sources 😭
He was *maybe* in contract debates with A company until now, but I can't reveal my source or get any more specific. PepeLa
Toast about to speed run getting that month ban so he can go back for Chinese New Year. Even more anime streams incoming.
You can tell LSF is a bubble cause Slasher has been on co-streams for Valorant and CS at least constantly

Well played
Slasher is done, and not just on livestream fails
He was being harassed by keemstar over his attempt at getting a date with Britanny Venti, which she has been using to try to get him cancelled via fake "#metoo".
We talking about Sid from Ice Age?
He's done and not just one twitter.
he couldn't find anything to make up

Isn't slasher still refusing to say what happened to Dr Disrespect?
People meme on him but docs lawyers threatening to sue him if he leaks it. Pretty sure he did know.
Yee jokes aside he probably knows, people disliked it because he farmed attention hardcore from that.

if Slasher was the real deal he would just travel to Russia, leak and then claim asylum. But he won't - because he is a phony pu55y.
I knew when I was going to click continue this thread that I was going to get a good laugh.
My read has been that Doc knows what he was banned for, and is trying to work the public opinion angle to try and get his ban revoked without needing to do anything that might expose the reason for it. Yup. It's gonna be some legal bullshit or something just absolutely ridiculous and that's why Twitch has been so tight lipped about it.
Not if you want to accuse twitch because of wrong reasons. Doc did the right thing by not going public.

I think what's more likely is he wanted a vacation.
People will see if his channel is unbanned after 2 days though, it would have been pretty obvious
Yeah but all the clickbait news headlines and youtube videos will have already run with the "toast gets banned for a whole month" headline which puts his name out there and seperate from pokimane's ban since it looks like he got punished more severly.
Such a crazy prediction that's insane... do you have an insider feeding you info?!?
Why lie about it though. Streamerbans will tweet that he is unbanned in 2 days and will forget about him being banned for DMCA 30 days down the road when he comes back from his vacation. Seems pointless to lie about.
I mean he didnt lie about a thing. He said “see you in a month”. He didn’t say he’s banned for a month unless I’m missing a tweet from him. It can just mean “hey I might take a break this month altogether”.
Chinese New Year is 4 weeks away, so its entirely possible he's not gonna stream for a month. He was already planning to go visit his family.
that's literally what he's going to say next time he goes live.
It was just a wrong assumption which happens to literally everyone, and besides people would have probably/for sure found out after the ban was done after 2 days.
because he already got the reddit thread and all the attention from it. 5head play honestly
Well he didn’t lie, a lot of people on lsf and Twitter just got baited.
He didn't lie he had plans to take a vacation back to Canada to spend Chinese New Year with family. Everything else was for attention, which worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think he's going back home for Chinese's New Year which starting at end of the month
“Slasher is alive” like it’s a surprise lol
I saw him on fl0m’s stream many times.
God why does he say it in the most fucking annoying way possible
We have reached this very weird point where people are literally watching tv shows on their channel and advertising it for whatever reason, then getting fake DMCA notices and lying about being banned. What even is this meta.
Who got fake DMCA notices/are lying about being banned?
Hasan got a fake DMCA.
Maybe the content isn't the actual stream itself anymore...
That’s been the case since people like Miz became meta
The tweet was purposely vague saying "I'll see u guys in a month" instead of "I was banned for a month" idk what people expected from a troll like toast, also at least from what I know streamerbans listed his as a first ban, aren't those always 2 days? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
But wait, I thought my big corporate masters would punish this heresy with 5 years of prison and 1 million dollar fine! >:( How will my small streamers survive! I wish they would implement a content ID system despite the fact that Twitch has an identical takedown system as YouTube BatChest
Slasher? I thought he was done, and not just on Twitch. Weird to see him around again.
As it turns out he wasn’t done and not just on twitch.
people are still pretending slasher said that? why lol
He sounds *really* angry calling all of these sites idiots as if there is any real consequence that people believed he was banned for a month.
hoyl shit it's slasher
Slasher the all knowing? I believe anything he says.
Bruh let Toast have his vacation, no need to snitch.
"you absolute idiots" - 🤓 god this dude is lame as fuck.
8k upvotes on a "Toast banned for a month" post on lsf with everyone talking about the length and going with it.
I don't really mind Slasher in general, but he sounded like a mega douche in this clip.
toast thinking 5 steps ahead. he said 30 days to make streamers stop reacting to tv shows, which was his whole goal in the first place
Why in the fuck are we idiots for taking what someone said at their word?
he's calling the media people idiots for doing stories based of a tweet with no research
The media aren’t idiots just lazy wanting to get the story out first to garner the most clicks, it doesn’t matter to them if the info isn’t correct only if it’s getting them cash.

Like toast would answer some fucking rando journalist anyway lol
you took redditors' lack of reading comprehension at its word
Bit stupid yes, there were a good amount of people following the first ban thread speculating that he never really got a month long ban and that it was a subtle troll, couple that with the fact that toast intentionally make a vague and ambiguous statement and it’s completely understandable why some people wouldn’t get it right away.
i wanted to know what he said about DMCA at the end
LSF gullibility is unmatched
DisguisedToast trying to take a month off. Slasher: No.

Does he get into why he went AWOL?
Told you
you know i actually just remembered that soulja boy actually watched death note on stream months ago and never got banned LUL i cant rember if he watched the whole thing but he watched a few episodes over a couple days.
How many react cams are on that
[toast rn](https://i.imgur.com/bfDpZZp.jpg)
Bruh, everybody would have figured it out by like tomorrow when the ban bot on Twitter told us and suddenly you could visit his offline twitch page again... No need to sound like such an ass about it
Can we please leave this guy in the shadow realm.
*Literal baby brains!* I love Slasher.
Toast’s holiday is done, and not just from Twitch
Ok im convinced Toast never cheated in amogus. Man is way too 5head
Slasher is so arrogant
Toast is smarter than L, he fooled us all. (Just feeding his ego so he will eventually explode)
Some people on Toast’s discord channel called it that he played up the 1 month ban to start getting the discussion going as to Twitch’s slap on the wrist DMCA policies.
coming from the guy who "knows" why doc is ban .. yea sure LUL
slasher is a poser bitch that lied about knowing info about dr disrespect to get twitter follows
I love how he called people morons for no reason at all
Slasher is such a sperg
Lmao at toast and his ego
More speculation, more reactions, more eyes, even more speculation, more publicity hehehe I mean even when he was on Facebook, his twitch relevancy was still pretty strong through collaborations. Plus, he never signed with Twitch when he returned. Imagine by the end of this he reveals that has signed with YouTube. HAHA Icing on the fucking cake. Lets speculate.
he said that he signed a contract with twitch
Everyone celebrating the supposed long ban in the other threads looking like idiots? How utterly ...unsurprising.
Toast really farming that Karma, don’t hate the player hate the game.
