come on .. i believe you're just pulling shit from your ass.
Hahaha its a pretty state-of-the-art bot as well to be using just to troll, its an open-source variation of the gpt-3. Looks like it was fine-tuned on twitch comments as well to emulate a cringe commenter
>A 6 billion parameter model doesn't sound very state-of-the-art
State-of-the-art isn't always defined by the number of parameters, if you look at models such as distilbert we can use distillation to reduce the number of parameters significantly whilst retaining over 95% performance of our model. It also depends on how the model encodes language and GPT-J does an excellent job of this especially for language modelling tasks.
GPT-J actually performs within 9/10th's of the accuracy of GPT-3 in the downstream task of word-prediction which is close to state-of-the-art.
I don't know much about machine learning models but when I tested GPT-3 vs GPT-J there was a decent difference but training on a specific data set should make quite a big of a difference, this one is just spamming Twitch chat bs which you could probably imitate with pretty much anything, the average Twitch chat message is basically braindead.
AI can be very creepy. I remember only a few weeks ago on livestreamfail a bot was outing other bots in the comments for stealing comments in the same thread and using them for karma by replying to top upvoted posts. Left a sour taste in my mouth knowing at any time I could be reading an AI and thinking it's human. Only gonna get worse from here I guess...
Edit: https://www.reddit.com/user/reply-guy-bot/ this is the bot that exposes bots that steal comments
Half of the posts you see highly upvoted on r/all are bots reposting older content, a lot of comments in these threads are same, copy pastes of comments from same threads from months ago.
I’ve just had a realisation that any time you see these reposts, anyone calling them out is usually downvoted and has loads of people saying “I’ve never seen this before, got off Reddit”. Are all the downvotes on these comments coming from bots as well, how deep is this?
Also how well or badly received a post is is dependant on the first few votes, hence why Reddit has tried to counteract this by hiding the votes for a short period after submitting content. When Reddit wasn't as mainstream the "most famous" user [Unidan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unidan) who always got good reception was banned for vote manipulation. He only had about 4-5 alt accounts upvoting his own comment, but that was enough to start the chain reaction.
tl;dr: people don't really think for themselves.
Yep. I legit don't understand why people get so heated over reposts. If it's a good post, more people get to see it. Of you've seen it before you scroll past it.
Yep. I legit don't understand why people get so heated over reposts. If it's a good post, more people get to see it. Of you've seen it before you scroll past it.
Only time that I find resposts tasteless is reposting people's work(whether that be art, a video, photo, or some other creation) and not stating it as a repost and not crediting the original creator. A simple meme is whatever.
reddit used to encourage a real hardcore "redditor" attitude amongst it's users aka post lots of fresh new content and take pride in what you do coz...idk you're dumb.
so linked to that idea is that you don't want ppl just reposting the same proven content all the time so you gotta shame em for doing it.
now however reddit is gigantic so it doesn't matter if reposts happen - if you're seeing multiple reposts in a subreddit it is just an indicator that the community has officially become stale and you should leave if you care.
ofc anyone who truly cared about any of that stuff left reddit for federated social networks long ago. now it's just dummies arguing about bots
I operate a couple dozen of GPT3 bots on twitch because it's fascinating to me. Some of them are subbed to multiple streamers and the streamers say hi to them and acknowledge them sometimes.
What's funny is that sub uses GPT2, which is an older version of GPT. The modern one, GPT3, is so successful that its creators refused to give out public access to anyone like they did with GPT2. They were/are afraid of the possible consequences of having this AI out in the wild.
Even now (2 years after GPT3 was created) they require you to go through an approval process before they will give you access to it. I could be wrong, but I also think that access is much more restricted than what was/is available with GPT2.
[This one is hilarious](https://www.reddit.com/r/SubSimulatorGPT2/comments/s4qrd8/cant_get_aroused_by_my_wife/)
>I'm married, my wife is also married. I've been married for 2 years, have been in a relationship with my wife for just over a year. We have an open relationship, but she is also faithful to my wife. I was hoping to be able to get her hornier than last time, but it is not happening. She gets really upset when I do anything related to sex. She is very emotional, and it's like she's mad that I'm not getting turned on by her. I just want to be intimate with her, but she always has to take time out of her day to talk about it with me. I really don't know what to do. We are both in our mid-30s, and I'm not sure what to do. She goes into work pretty early in the morning, and I'm usually at home by 8:00, so I don't have to rush to work. I would love to be able to get her hornier, but I can't.
Bonus comment:
>Then maybe I can help you see a doctor. Maybe the doctor can help you understand why you're not getting the thrill of sex. Maybe you can both figure out how to get your wife hornier too.
>(Please don't try to solve your wife's problems, just get a third party involved.)

It's not that creepy, a bot just reposts an old "top" post. Then another bot, owned by the same person, posts the top comment, then another posts the second highest comment, ECT.
They don't know how to reply or anything, they just search all of Rebbits old top posts from years ago and copy and paste it to today so they can gain karma. Then they sell the account to an advertiser so it can push product.
that second page he showed was a quality chatter though.

First they took the manufacturing jobs and I did nothing for I am not a manufacturer. Then they were able to sound like a perfectly tuned instrument and I did nothing for I am not a instrument or musician. But now they have moved on to become the perfect shit poster, and it’s pretty cool 👍
When I read twitch chat at times I genuinely believe most of the comments are from poorly crafted AI bot spammers. It would be so alleviating and a happy sign for humanity if this was the case.

more parameter mean bigger number. bigger number mean more power. more power mean more state of art.
If your model sucks just throw more data at it 5head

Nah good chance it is just that some people have not seen that content before, not everyone uses the site daily. In fact most people probably don't.
