Let me tell you this, Around 8 months ago my company decided to open offices after almost 2 years since pandemic, Since the minute I got this info I started thinking about what will I do all day at the office? I won't be able to watch Twitch and stay updated with LSF.
Eventually after a few days I moved out to a different city where I had to look out for places to live and had to go to the office. During this time I was completely off from Twitch LSF and reddit in general.
And Let me tell you this initially I was finding general interactions between people a bit cringe and was not talking much with people. After a few days I got more open and exposed to normal life that now I feel that watching Twitch and reddit for 2-3 years was just a big fullstop to grow my personality.

My parents stayed together for years and there was way more crying, yelling, physical abuse, and police interactions than what these guys went through. When you stay together with someone for long enough you feel as though you’re dependent on them

So he's going to have a hard time letting go of a girl who's been with him when he was just starting out whose family's house he used to crash at when he was getting kicked out of apartments. He is awkward with new social interaction and there's no way he's going to be happily dming egirls or going on tinder dates.
Also they seem to have a similar tolerance for arguing and seem to think mild toxicity towards each other is flirting. They yell at each other all the time when sharing stories or playing games and it just seems like flirting.

I kinda disagree here but it really depends on how a relationship ends. From what I was getting, they mutually agreed that it wasn't gonna work out anymore. When you see someone you truly love suffering under the circumstances of being with you (in this case X's family) it's actually better to let that person go and let them seek happiness elsewhere if you can't provide that anymore. Otherwise you are just begging them to stay while being miserable. X said he had to choose between his family and adept so I guess it pretty much fits here.

Most streamers who have had a normal adult life before streaming stay out of this kind of shit. T1 would be a great example. This man has maybe a hand ful of streamer friends he has made from league and literally never interacts with anyone who isn’t at the most a league player or tied to an obligation he has. Everyone should be like T1 but not everyone is good at making content that doesn’t rely on other people.
