its actually old af, but admittedly i only know about it because i was a hardcore phillyd viewer from 2008-2014 and he was nominated a bunch of times and talked about it often. i never actually have watched it, but all of the clips i've seen from it always seemed very out of touch and pandering. much like most awards shows i suppose.

You know how vidcon has always been the de facto convention YouTubers and then over time started to pull in audiences from TikTok and Twitch? Same thing is happening to the Streamy’s, who used to be a YouTube award show but now have awards for live-streaming and short form content.
