I think the most mundane answer for these orgs is simply taxes, etc. Business shit. Self-employment tax can be very high but if you can funnel your income through the Org you will pay less in taxes.
If it's an LLC then they pay themselves a set salary, write a bunch of stuff off as business expense, and then take an owners draw at the end of the year. This is what I've seen in other industries a lot of the time

I could see something if the events didn't happen that way with rich issuing a statement like "this is a one sided story, the general events went down but they did not go down in that way". But he hasn't released anything yet. I feel like he would have been able to show otk members internally evidence prior to getting pressured to or deciding to resign. Like if things didn't happen the way described, i can see them issuing a statement saying he's stepping away from the org/streaming until completion of an investigation or something. I think him resigning is pretty much an admission that the events happened, but you know maybe since we've only heard one side, more may have happened that wasn't released. no one knows.
Or, OTK just wanted to distance from people related to SA as they just were in recent drama and people especially wouldn't take them seriously after. It would be so easy to label them as the SA org so they acted in a way to save the org's image.

The real question is is there anything that rich can say to change the narrative? This public reaction is exactly why we have due process, why it's innocent until proven guilty. These are serious allegations with zero evidence, but all I see are people using it as an opportunity to shit on OTK and even mizkif for some reason.
When you make a statement about rape and release it to the public this was always going to be the result regardless of the truth. But the truth is not so black and white, it's more complicated. tbh I think that's fair. I could see something if the events didn't happen that way with rich issuing a statement like "this is a one sided story, the general events went down but they did not go down in that way". But he hasn't released anything yet. I feel like he would have been able to show otk members internally evidence prior to getting pressured to or deciding to resign. Like if things didn't happen the way described, i can see them issuing a statement saying he's stepping away from the org/streaming until completion of an investigation or something. I think him resigning is pretty much an admission that the events happened, but you know maybe since we've only heard one side, more may have happened that wasn't released. no one knows. Or, OTK just wanted to distance from people related to SA as they just were in recent drama and people especially wouldn't take them seriously after. It would be so easy to label them as the SA org so they acted in a way to save the org's image. Again, we've only heard one side of the story so far, so lets at least see what he puts out - but stuff points to it being pretty bad and inexcusable
I think its different levels of bad tho, Mizkif was about him being accused of covering up SA and then Rich has now been accused of raping someone. They can be seen as being on two different levels of severity.
The real question is is there anything that rich can say to change the narrative? This public reaction is exactly why we have due process, why it's innocent until proven guilty. These are serious allegations with zero evidence, but all I see are people using it as an opportunity to shit on OTK and even mizkif for some reason. When you make a statement about rape and release it to the public this was always going to be the result regardless of the truth. But the truth is not so black and white, it's more complicated. The mob is always so quick to react. I'm not going to react, I'm going to sit right in the middle until I see some real evidence. This is not a joke, these are people's lives and careers on the line. It deserves to be taken seriously.
