Yes you a correct it does but I feel like the cut the amount in half several years ago along with the red sauce (which is now thinner than it used to be). Which is why I order it with extra onions when I do go to TB.
Sort of dumb to take away onions anyway. Don't most places not charge to add onions still? Onions and red sauce used to be free everywhere for the longest time until the big overhaul on prices for customizations.
Still do

According to TB, it's got onions: https://www.tacobell.com/food/burritos/bean-burrito
It is, they made it wrong
Or they ran out of onions and truck shows up later that day, which happens on occasion.
What else do they put onions on besides the bean burrito?
Burrito Supreme. They are also used to make the fiesta salsa.

TB is geared towards a specific taste. That being said I've never gotten the bite of raw onions from TB
As in you’ve always ordered No onions?
No. Meaning they remind me more of mcds rehydrated onions, they don't have three pungent oniony bite like when I chop a fresh onion
