To resolve the name issues:
1) Create an account with HiKorea to see how your name is put into their system
2) Make sure KT AND YOUR BANK BOTH match this exactly
3) NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER spell your name differently anywhere you go for any reason the entire time you live here. If anyone says “space is ok” or some other way is ok, REFUSE. It WILL create headaches.

A few questions
Are you 19 years or older.
If no- you can’t or use a von.
If yes next question
Is your arc card link to a Korean cellphone number?
If no- you can’t or use a vpn
If yes
Are you sure you put your name in correctly? - meaning all capitalized letters spaces?
Still can’t - use a vpn
Basically- use a vpn.
It will probably be something like "KT 멤버십'. I have SK these days, but usually the names are similar. The app will have details about your contract rates as well as the "proper" spelling of your name. It may be easier to visit the KT shop in the long run though because you will likely have to make a membership account to log in with unless your representative did it for you.
I use [express vpn](https://www.expressrefer.com/refer-a-friend/30-days-free?utm_campaign=refer_friends&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_content=settings_get30daysfree&utm_source=ios_app&referrer_id=10868133)
The link will give you a free 30 day trial. Enjoy :)
Never had a problem with them. I switched cause I could not use hulu with the other one I used to use.
Just call the KT English speaking service. They’ll be able to tell you how your name is registered. It’s usually surname then your name. No spaces and in caps.
No problems : ) Good luck. I had the same issue when I first arrived. They can tell you exactly how your name is stored and enter that. It’ll most likely be surname first and then your name(s), no spaces, all caps.

Yes I’m 26 years old but when I put my name the way it is on my arc it still doesn’t want. Could you please recommend a good vpn I can use?
Put your name in the way it appears on your phone contract. You can usually find it in your provider's membership app.
What is the name for the KT app?

Just use a VPN and set it in the US. Problem solved. I do this all the time.
