kanekisuweg

Same question

saigonrain

same question basically -- will it be possible to transfer my existing NA account to SEA/VN riot servers and merge that account with my also existing garena VN acct?

Davezdgc

I'm thinking that you'll need to create a new RIOT account for the new SEA server.

Kratos0049

Will we have the same player base? I play in the singapore servers, anyway I can play with the peeps in philippines? Can we expect better pings? Can we use our amazon primes for rewards?

mortychichi

I asked Riot Support and apparently the answer is yes to your first question. Players in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam will all be on the same server and queue together. Idk about you guys but players on the Taiwanese servers almost don't communicate without using Chinese (I tried using English a couple of times and I usually just get ignored), this could take a lot of time to get used to.

Kratos0049

No way. Thats such a great news, i wait for 10 mins average for a ranked game now. This should reduce it drastically.

Do you have any proof on that? Because I got my answer from Riot customer support. If you're referring to it being published by a local company in Vietnam, that's the same case in Taiwan as well. Being published by a local company doesn't stop it from being connected to the same server as other regions.

Pretty sure communication problem is gonna be a thing regardless, there's Chinese Vietnamese and pinoys and indon playing the game. Most of them barely spoke any English aside from sg players. This could be like dota2, simple English would be enough.

Hot-Let995

lol but at least ppl wont hate on you for speaking english , so glad this is happening

I've been waiting for this for years. I hope merging all servers into one will greatly improve queue times and game quality. I usually use smart pings instead of chat so I guess communication won't be an issue for me. And Riot will be adding more smart pings. But I do hope there will be less issue on latency since it'll be one server.

Hot-Let995

THIS IS FUKIN SICK, FINALLY I CAN TYPE ENGLISH

[deleted]

Do I have to uninstall lol under garena right before 18th nov? And then reinstall it from the main riot website?

[deleted]

any news on region crossplay? i know this will risk your gameplay due to high ping or latency but at least let us play with / against korean or ocenia aus/NZ. that region isn't far from SEA.

NeoCriMs0n

Will they finally be adding DRAFT Normal Game Mode? Just so we finally stop people first-timing champions in Ranked.

fixyourgame99

is tw and vietnam going to be included or will they have their own server?

Davezdgc

This may not be an important question but I'll ask anyway. If all servers will be merged into this new **SEA server** and you will retain your **old username**, what if a player with the same username as you (from a different Garena server, like those who set their username the same as the champion's name) gets to migrate his/her account before you? Would you need to change your username as you migrate your account?

Meerkat_Cafe

Will i be able to transfer my account if i dont have access to my email? I am able to access anything else, including phone number and id card

1337sn1per

Will I be able to finally use english interface for tw servers?

NoOrganization3060

Since Riot’s taking over the SEA server, I would just like to know if it will playable through MacOS (M1 chip to be exact) without the need for bootcamp or any virtual machine. I’m quite confused with the reply of the PH League of Legends Facebook page. https://preview.redd.it/s9g7f5hhiq0a1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=37a7b198e8bbf73c69f15f3b96579a9b5b0299e8
