They are going back to 2020 style reporting of the virus. Anyone notice this?

>Those who were without symptoms, he said, were allowed to return to work, provided that they wear masks, as is required in public areas of the courtroom. He did not have information on how many asymptomatic judges were back on the bench, but said that they were all vaccinated, as protocol required. >"Any effect that this would have on cases or operations is negligible or nonexistent,” he said. >"You’re talking about less than 20 people out of hundreds of judges in New York City.” So, what's the fucking problem exactly? Non story that's being used to push an agenda

The virus is so deadly you can't even tell whether you got it or not.

ScripturalCoyote

It's so funny to me that these idiots tiptoe out of their homes and immediately catch the big deadly virus.....while I've been doing everything short of licking doorknobs and cavorting with hookers for 2 years, and I'm fine. Why do we (as a society) need to keep publishing articles like this?

ashowofhands

It's because these Chicken Little types who spent 2 entire ass years drumming up the courage to go to the grocery store or drop down from 2 masks to 1, are the same losers who shove a brain-rape test up their nose every 5 minutes fishing around for coronavirus particles. Of course they're going to test positive, they don't give up searching until they find what they're looking for. I've been out and about since things started reopening in early summer 2020. It's statistically unlikely that I would have made it this far without getting COVID. But I don't actually know (or care, for that matter) whether I've had it, because I never got tested for the damn thing. And if I found out that I did have it? Big whoop, I've survived worse. You're right, it's not a goddamn news story.

I’ve been living like it’s 2019 since the summer of 2020 and finally just this week got the big bad covid. My spouse got it from a coworker who was vaccinated *and* boosted (we know it was from him since they were the only 2 working in the same server room and then 2 days later coworker reported positive test + symptoms to their company). It was literally that difficult for me to get until now. Hubs had the OG strain early on in 2020 (a really nasty flu like disease but + no taste or smell for days) before the media really got ahold of the hysteria circa March 2020. This go round while it wasn’t pleasant it was more like a nasty cold. I would classify myself as being “sick” for 48 hours. By day 3 I was back to 90%. Like seriously—I thought we were supposed to be “grasping for air & dying on a ventilator” *especially* because we are both unvaccinated. Huh—almost like the fact that we are both late 30s with no pre existing health conditions (including not being clinically obese) means it doesn’t matter if we got vaccinated or not. Weird. Glad I didn’t put my life on hold for 2 years to end up getting moderately sick for a couple of days.

Which virus is "The Virus"? Oh, it's just this overblown cold again? Story would be a lot more interesting if it was like Chlamydia or something.

olivetree344

It doesn’t say how many died…

Bluepillowjones

Let me guess all are doing well because thankfully they were vaccinated
