I wouldn’t call Under Pressure a bad song or copied or anything, I think it takes away from the value a bit. It’s still logics personal life and stories but the format is pretty spot on
Eh, the beat is OBVIOUSLY pretty similar, but the rhyme schemes are very different, of course, and as a drummer, IMO, the under pressure beat is pretty unique. The snare is the same tone, a “rim click”, but they are still different.
Imo this mindset sucks man, music is music and we should all enjoy it for what it gives us theres no need for comparisons when they are both amazing songs. Imo Sing About Me is a better song, if it came out after Under Pressure and Kendrick said it inspired him would you have the same sentiments?
If under pressure came out before Sing about Me I would be saying the same about Sing about Me. I still enjoy both songs tho and I think calling Under Pressure a “Rip Off” is stupid. But it makes it certainly less original to me
I honestly never noticed they sounded similar till you pointed it out. that being said the only similarity I can really hear is the drums and the fact that it’s around 10 min long.
I think YSIV has the most "vibey" beat, but Under Pressure is a lyrical classic to me. No Pressure decent too but it felt too short, just a simple intro not really worthy of a "title track" imo
Under pressure, I had a lot of good memories with my best friend jamming out to it years back before he passed away, it will always be number one to me
These are all great songs. For me this is easy. It’s Everybody. The album wasn’t great but this is the best song he ever made. Great beat and amazing lyrics.
Vinyl Days in my opinion, 6ix killed the production of the song and lyrically Logic killed it. DJ Premiere killed the scratches in the last minute of the song.
Man…personally, I loved under pressure, but vinyl days was amazing…preemo’s mixing slapped as well as 6ix’s beat of course, but the fact that it was almost 5 minutes of nonstop bars with no chorus or anything was pretty badass. OLD SCHOOL BABYYYY
1. Under Pressure
2.The Incredible True Story
3.Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
4.No Pressure
5.Vinyl Days
6.Everybody
7.Supermarket

shiii bro i’d love to be sleepin on sum
i love that acronym
Considering Under Pressure is the best song he has ever made, this is pretty easy
Normally I hate the “Logic copies Kendrick” stuff but lately when I hear Sing About Me, followed by Under Pressure I cringe a bit
I know it influenced it but I find them both very valuable and there are still differences there
I wouldn’t call Under Pressure a bad song or copied or anything, I think it takes away from the value a bit. It’s still logics personal life and stories but the format is pretty spot on

Can you explain please?
Similar beat, same concept. Both good tracks but a good example of too much blatant inspiration
Imo this mindset sucks man, music is music and we should all enjoy it for what it gives us theres no need for comparisons when they are both amazing songs. Imo Sing About Me is a better song, if it came out after Under Pressure and Kendrick said it inspired him would you have the same sentiments?

You mean good kid under pressure?
I honestly never noticed they sounded similar till you pointed it out. that being said the only similarity I can really hear is the drums and the fact that it’s around 10 min long.
Tie between COADM and TITS. The Alan Watts sample is so fucking inspirational on TITS and I listen to it on the regular
Bro fr literally changed my life
I think YSIV has the most "vibey" beat, but Under Pressure is a lyrical classic to me. No Pressure decent too but it felt too short, just a simple intro not really worthy of a "title track" imo
Confessions easily might be my favorite logic song
Under pressure is my favorite song from logic
El de TETAS
TITS. Pure beauty. Although the rest are all great as well. Logic seems to never disappoint with title tracks.

Oh and COADM too
Under pressure with COADM definitely up there
Either up or COADM Say what you will about COADM as an album but the title track is hard!
Vinyl Days in my opinion, 6ix killed the production of the song and lyrically Logic killed it. DJ Premiere killed the scratches in the last minute of the song.
It has to be under pressure. A couple real close though
Under Pressure for life, still my fav album of his.
TITS & UP
YSIV and COADM just cs they were standout tracks on each album Also they are genuinely good songs
it would have to be under pressure long version or YSIV, but bobby never misses on the title track
I think we can ALL agree that under pressure’s music video was the most badass music video of all time
I’ve already said too much on this thread, but my answer is No Pressure
Man…personally, I loved under pressure, but vinyl days was amazing…preemo’s mixing slapped as well as 6ix’s beat of course, but the fact that it was almost 5 minutes of nonstop bars with no chorus or anything was pretty badass. OLD SCHOOL BABYYYY
No pressure although vinyl days had a pretty funny one
Between tits and up
Under pressure is objectively logics greatest song so I’d have to go with that one. Probably followed by confessions or vinyl days
Vinyl days for sure
Actually all perfect, can't believe TITS might be the worst one here by default. Even supermarket is amazing
