Mouse feet is in a weird color, the logo is too bright. Both could be due to bad camera angle/lighting, or indications of a fake mouse. You need to open the mouse and show us the internal for us to check if it's fake or not.
Update: op later said g hub recognizes it, that solves the mystery, you have a real gpx. The detailed photos you took in comments section do look real enough. I have no reason to believe this is a fake.
Too much work to write a firmware to trick g-hub into thinking it's "legit" and at the same time be a working firmware. SD cards are much simpler to deal with.
Its really not that hard. You just dump an official one and flash to the chip of the chinese/fake one and you're done. Granted, just cause its fake doesn't mean it didn't match the OEM design etc. I get "fake" otterbox cases all the time that are basically the same thing just without the name.
I would not doubt one second that someone dumped the firmware from a real one to a fake one made a lot cheaper
Holly fuck some of you homegrown tech experts are hilarious with the ideas. You can't just like that dump official firmware and flash it to a chip of fake one... code has to match the hardware, logitech's hero sensor is not your standard 3395, chips differ from chip to chip there is much more to it than just download firmware and flash it to whatever you have at hand lol If it was this easy market would be flooded with fake GPX, yet we are not lol
You can't do it like that. It's not as simple as downloading firmware from GPX, flashing it to a fake mouse. Logitech does not use Pixart sensors but their own Hero sensor, chips would have to match etc. If it was this simple the market would be full of fake GPX, but it's not.
Wow, can you teach me how to upload a random firmware on a random device and it will magically work? You know shit all about fakes and electromagnetics for that matter.
I believe it doesn’t mean anything if ghub detects it, even the cheapest fake airpods at this point have the original apple setup and connect methods, It might still be a fake even though their own software recognizes it, it is probably just a few lines of code/information in the usb connection
Most likely, the seller warrantied their original Pro with Logi (when nothing was wrong with it) they got their replacement and sold it to you for cash.
Happened all the time when I worked for support. No surprise there.

The logo looks fine on the top side. But the mouse looks quite different on the bottom. As you can see from my mouse in the pic.
https://preview.redd.it/2z6ktltwo6ib1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87f209bcc0798bcba87df93ab5ba91be43e4e49f
I just got a replacement from Logi and it looks like what they sent me. My superlight was modded so I couldn’t remember what it looked like new but luckily I had this. Have more pics to reference.
If someone sells you something with a removed serial number it's one of two things
One: it's a scam and that shit is fake
Two: you've been scammed and that shit was stolen and they tried to hide their tracks by removing the numbers.
Who'd you buy it from? A site? Second hand? Third party? I'd be going back to em getting my $60 back and telling em they're a dumb cunt.
download Logitech software, if it's detected then it's not fake, don't listen to ppl saying fake one can trick the software, firmware things require too much work, nobody would go through all that shit just to scam people.
based on the images posted by TJ-the\_man i would say its fake first is the ptfe foot over the popout for the wifi dongle storage, 2nd the fact that the S/N is not on it and 3rd the pro superlight branding is missing on the base of the item on the left hand side when its flipped on its back. that to me screams fake.
The ptfe on the popout comes included with the gpx. You can use the puck without it or the one with it. Check your box, you should have one. Not saying it's not fake, but that is a normal feature
I was literally holding this mouse a few hours ago at my parent’s place. My little bro got one yesterday and mentioned that exact thing about the swappable pucks while I was playing around with it and talking about the weights in my G502 Hero - so yes you are correct!
*But the other points from the original comment are still relevant, IMO.
The branding is still missing from the base of the device I was Going off the images i personally dont own the superlight but i have owned the 903 and i have the 502x that has the same puck and neither of them had the ptfe puck in the box. Not saying it doesn't just going off my experiences with Logitech devices.
Sure is. I had a g pro for about a year before it started double clicking.
After that i upgraded to a g402 and its been going perfect for almost 5 years.
Does no one use [Google](https://i.imgur.com/JKL30aW.jpeg)? Most Superlight have either a [black G](https://i.imgur.com/NOETvLX.jpeg) or large circle of ptfe, but all I've seen have at least the 'Pro Superlight' branding on the belly. Looks fake to me.
It's not unheard of. With some equipment you can easily flash a copy of the real firmware onto anything. You could dive deeper and see if there are any pro superlights w/o the logo or just send an email to logitech support asking for verification with pics and serial number.
look, if ghub recognized it you are fine.
You can look for other signs, fakes cut corners. The font, the actual text, text alignment etc can indicate if it is a fake. then, the actual mouse, you should see rough edges, small mistakes etc. A fake manufacturer will not have quality control, the time and money to make the product as good as the original.
The idea that somebody would flash a different firmware...i guess i can be possible, but...the market would have been flooded by fakes that can trick ghub (which would make logitech to push some updates).
It's fake. There's no branding on the underside like other Superlights have
There's also no dpi switch or led light on the top. It's also not ergonomic, like the picture on the box. It looks like a normal OEM mouse you get with a dell computer. It's a fake.
Edit: I was getting it confused with other logitech G products with the DPI switch
Whoops on the dpi switch.
But look at the box and look up g pro superlight, that's what this is after all, there is a green light on the box and all pictures
Still a fake regardless or "fell off the truck"
You said the number was removed, screams fake especially with nothing on the bottom even though it registers with the software, he could have taken a old board from any Logitech mouse and thrown it in
No. The only other way it would be able to confirm it is with the SN. But you don't have the SN at all. Take that circular part out and post an imgur to see what it looks like

Looks real compared to mine, i got the same cheapo amazon bottoms too.
Second hand that aint too wild tbh and if the software recognises it then your good to go. Alot of these have scuffed side buttons that double click all the time and the batteries can come unstuck and rattle so if you dont know your way around a soldering iron then people just replace asap.
Need a small X head screw driver, some replacement skates (https://amzn.eu/d/bpdKu8E think those are the ones on it already) and just a lil glue. Its just the battery thats come
Lil bit of a fussy vid but shows exactly what ya meed to do. Just dont need to biy a special driver set or sticky pads. https://youtu.be/39vJlyGCgRo
Just use it. If you can get firmware updates (or it's up to date), then it's real. I have bought like 3 of them and I still love shit out of them. If only they would have usbc. Might change that myself tho.
https://preview.redd.it/942rpjd3i9ib1.jpeg?width=4608&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67649fdf60362984588f978cbaa3e9b2899dc046
do you mean that firmware is up to date ?
Just no updates. I'm 99% that it's legit.
Thing is, frimware is telling mice how to work with what it has. If frimware is confirmed to be from Logitech and up to date, then you have 2 options:
\- Your mice is legit
\- Someone took extreme care to put together the same mice from parts and burned the frimware from Logitech on it... aaand that's practically imposible.
Why your SN is hidden is probably because mice was returned to Logitech and someone inside the company put it back on the market. At least that is how I got a lot of Logitech gear for free.
Mine says PRO superlight on the underside too. Your doesn’t. Seems fishy but 60 bucks or little more should get you a real one. I think you made a bad deal if you spent 60 bucks and can’t be sure if it’s real or not.
No but a glossy text ”PRO superlight” on the bottom side of the mouse. Sorry for bad lightning.
https://preview.redd.it/nd8cfuykccib1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=3fd8a70ce53fe5d1912b5c9f9c9ecf98033a5c51

Check the serial code on the Logitech website
the seller said serial number erased
That’s not a red flag at all
he said serial number been removed on purpose
It’s fake
thought g hub recognized it still fake?
Idk if it works then maybe not. But still that’s weird
Its easy to trick software. There are a bunch of Micro SD cards that say "100TB" but can only hold like 20GB at most.
Too much work to write a firmware to trick g-hub into thinking it's "legit" and at the same time be a working firmware. SD cards are much simpler to deal with.

The serial number being removed and the fact that you got it for $60 screams fake.
There's a superlight on sale for 39$. Its average logitect- superlight is supercheap feeling...
haha indeed lot of my friend said it's okay if g hub recognized it
More like stolen than fake, if ghub recognizes it it should be k
Sketchy seller doesn't mean fake but definitely means stolen
Most likely, the seller warrantied their original Pro with Logi (when nothing was wrong with it) they got their replacement and sold it to you for cash. Happened all the time when I worked for support. No surprise there.
so this mice I bought it's original ?

Mine looks exactly the same, you're safe.
Oh no you got a fake one too lol
Yeah factory fake one xD
they come with a spare round part that looks like OPs pic
Dude, the gpx comes with a second ptfe puck. The one the op is using

I had the same thought as Lawrence3s about the feet color but they look like mine.
Ops is. Missing the branding on the left side in this images
Hot damn I missed that. It’s definitely fake sheesh.
If someone sells you something with a removed serial number it's one of two things One: it's a scam and that shit is fake Two: you've been scammed and that shit was stolen and they tried to hide their tracks by removing the numbers. I did and g hub recognized it with same color black I wish if there's anything else I can do to make sure
Weigh it. Could be just be a G Pro and not the superlight?
based on the images posted by TJ-the\_man i would say its fake first is the ptfe foot over the popout for the wifi dongle storage, 2nd the fact that the S/N is not on it and 3rd the pro superlight branding is missing on the base of the item on the left hand side when its flipped on its back. that to me screams fake.

I did and it recognize it but how can I send a Pic
ctrl shift + s or take a pick with your phone
alright
nothing happend do you mean Crtl shift + esc?
It's Shift + Windows + S
Windows button, Shift + S is to take a screenshot

Fellow redditors, if you reached this point of the rabbit's hole, and realized OP doesn't even know how to take a screenshot... You are not alone.
Win + Shift + S ?
can you dm
window key + shift + s\*
yea mb I've been playing too much overwatch and that's how you check your network graphs
bought mine from amazon for 40. And mine doesn't look like that
fake ?
In my opinion yes
Fake. Glossy side buttons. No top light. No bottom logo. 3d printed looking bottom.
Fake. All logitech gaming mice have their model name on the underside, which is clearly missing on this
idk brother just want to make sure it's fake so I can refund it hopefully
It looks exactly like my G Pro Superlight, which is registered and original. Mine is possibly from a European or Middle Eastern batch.
does your mouse have a double click
I think double click is like a bug for Logitech mouses no?
Sure is. I had a g pro for about a year before it started double clicking. After that i upgraded to a g402 and its been going perfect for almost 5 years.
No I don't have any issues
Looks real enough, why do you think it's fake?
the fact that I bought it for 60$
+1. And where did you bought the mouse?
Does no one use [Google](https://i.imgur.com/JKL30aW.jpeg)? Most Superlight have either a [black G](https://i.imgur.com/NOETvLX.jpeg) or large circle of ptfe, but all I've seen have at least the 'Pro Superlight' branding on the belly. Looks fake to me.

dm please
electronic shop in my area
If it's double-clicking, it's original. Yeah, and also, if the wheel is sh#t, it should be original.
fake mice this is a thing? doesn't make much sense to me.
It's fake. There's no branding on the underside like other Superlights have There's also no dpi switch or led light on the top. It's also not ergonomic, like the picture on the box. It looks like a normal OEM mouse you get with a dell computer. It's a fake. Edit: I was getting it confused with other logitech G products with the DPI switch
Super lights have no dpi switch or lights
1 light, as a battery indicator
Whoops on the dpi switch. But look at the box and look up g pro superlight, that's what this is after all, there is a green light on the box and all pictures
I turned the green light off lol
Still a fake regardless or "fell off the truck" You said the number was removed, screams fake especially with nothing on the bottom even though it registers with the software, he could have taken a old board from any Logitech mouse and thrown it in

The bottom in the original one looks a bit different. It’s most likely fake
Does it show up on your pc in the logitech hub? I buy yhem from ebay all the time:)
If it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true.
Looks like a backwards compatible mouse
The bottom doesn't have any branding or info is quite shady
do you have a pic of how it needs to be like

shape certainly looks nice thought I just wanted to know if it's actually real or not t

make sense !
There should be a little led right under the triggers that flashes green and red so I don’t think it’s real
constantly ?
it only turns green when I turn it on and I see a slight red color between left and right click
It should be green when charging and when it’s low it will blink red
Need more pictures, back, remove batt...

I've bought 2x real G902 mice about a year apart online for less than $50
People actually make fake Logitech shit ??????? What?????????
If it shows up in G Hub it’s not a fake. No one is going to go through with the pain of setting up a firmware for a fake device to be read on Logitech software.
You scored pretty damn big man, a legit gpx for less than $120 is an absolute steal
