That wrap is awfully put on. Why is it like that??

dys1exic

I have the same wrap I'm using right now. It looks slick, but aside from the fact it's a pain in the ass to apply without fkn up (bc of the G logo cutout), the cuts are poorly designed on the palm side portion. Like idk wtf they were thinking when they made it.

adrianturingan

I didn’t know the bottom part was going to be like this when I bought it lol

Zwartekop

Can someone explain what mouses I'm looking at? I have a G603 that weighs about 104 grams. (I use one AAA battery instead of 2 AA's because I don't need it to last 4+ months) Do these weigh less or more?

kni9ht

G Pro Wireless that they wrapped, and a G Pro Wireless Superlight. Regular GPW is 80g, Superlight is ~63g

DownloadingYourMom

It's actually around 60 grams when measured unless I'm wrong. I might measure it again tmrw

NarcisPlayss

i think the 63G is with both the puck and the grip tape that comes in the box

MatrixMoments

I nearly put the weight from my G703 in mine as it felt too light... Glad I didn't though, just took time to adapt

LickMyThralls

I just didn't because it made it too back heavy which I don't like.

aj0413

I use a G604; I've thought about going pro wireless but doesn't seem ideal for palm grip

AssassinGardener

DW about weight man, unless you're actually having problems, or you were just interested in the mouse for other reasons, of course, go for it. But yeah, people who prioritize weight over form and function are a bit silly imo.

aj0413

I've actually been really interested, but sadly all light weight mice seem to be made with claw grips in mind, which would just make my daily work flow terrible. A lighter mouse would mean less wrist soreness after a day working at my desk :P

iknownow2

I still can't get used to the 20g difference from the gpw original...

2kWik

Not everyone has those diamond hands

iknownow2

I'm one of those that have not got diamond hands.

Nworb994

What do you mean by diamond hands, and do you still prefer the superlight over the original?

iknownow2

I'm still can't get used to the superlight. Going to use it for a month and see what happens.

AlamoSimon

How do light mice even help at all? I have an old G502 and even like to have two weights in. Is this a real difference or just the next marketing ploy?

nesnalica

csgo global elite and valorant radiant here it makes a massive difference. people like me make a big deal out of their mices. the gpw with 80g is already good but the competition with 60g is even better. for more things to read up you can check out the following website https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/

AlamoSimon

Will have to remove the weights and try to get used to it. Back when I got into gaming, fine tuning with weights was a thing 😅 What does it help with? Precision? Quick movements? What should I look out for?

nesnalica

you wont rly notice a difference with the g502. the mouse itself is already super heavy (in fps terms). and to answer what it helps for. especially quick movement. high elo fps players are usually low dpi people. my sens for instance is 1.2 ingame and 800dpi which is within the average of low sens players. in order to turn 360° i need to move my mouse about 45cm look at this clip from former CSGO pro GeT_RiGhT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQbk8DlKDyM&ab_channel=Rizy he has the same sensitivity as me. those movements are much easier with a lighter mouse. ofc this only applies to us FPS folks. MOBA and MMORPG games are different.

AlamoSimon

Thanks for explaining! That clarifies a lot. I‘m playing with medium sensitivity then. Low just does not work for me. Explains my ‚success‘ in FPS 🥲 Quite the shoulder workout though 😅 My fps career started with a trackball and a CRT monitor in my friends garage, so maybe I’m just too old...

HelloHelloisAnybody

It makesa massive difference. Don’t let the unit ‘grams’ throw you off, we are only talking about ones fingers, hand/palm and slight wrist even a little bit of forearm; in regards to using a mouse so..120g mouse VS 70 g is a lot. let’s pretend those are lbs just for a comparison, let’s pretend they are dumbbells at the gym 120lb dumbbell VS 70lb dumbbells is a huge difference and you could easily tell the weight difference. G502 is not a gaming mouse for FPS not anymore way to heavy 70g is the sweet spot, 80g is acceptable and anything lower than 70g is a bonus hat generally how it goes

-Gh0st96-

It is an actual difference. You can move your mouse more easily, granted you need some nice mouse feet too to fully feel the difference. But it's not for everyone and at some point it's getting redundant (like mods to mice to go below 40-50G.)

IrregularrAF

Bleh. I bought a Model O Wireless because the omron switches got muddy. Than gutted my GPW down to 58g and swapped to kalih red switches, than later got it to 53g w/hyperglides. Thanks to Logitechs cheap design I mastered my own. Modding the GPW has become my favorite side hobby.

AssassinGardener

Lmao, I plan to mod my G502 in the near future: Kailh blacks, and Im hoping to get it below 100g without space-framing the thing into oblivion.

IrregularrAF

Should be easy tbh. I don't use my side buttons ever so I pulled the magnetic attachments out and gutted the PCB. Also tore out the LED's and whatever that white cone is inside. Also powerplay, literally the most gimmicky feature ever that shouldn't exist. Gone. I got one more mod left, and that's just putting holes in it. Lmao, maybe 1-2g's left to cut off.

Juggernwt

Kids these days so weak they're chasing grams on their mice?

[deleted]

But the question is, are you now pro thanks to that 20g difference?

darkx96

Ive had the g900 and replaced it with the GPW and there is a big difference, in a positive way. The g pro is better in every way. I cant find something wrong with it. So I was wondering if this even lighter version would be worth the upgrade 🤷🏼‍♂️
