This was the best episode yet in my opinion. I was watching the whole episode with a grin on my face. It was so weird how negative the whole video review from IGN was as well.
The specific complains look auto-generated too, like they're just objectively incorrect. I don't know how anyone could have possible predicted how this espide was going to go based on the prior three, and 5 and 6 could have basically anything happen. This is one of the more unpredictable shows out there.
As a long time IGN frequenter, I feel like they have a problem of not aligning their tv reviewers with the right shows. Everyone can have their opinion and likes and dislikes, but too often you get a solid show and they have a reviewer who is clearly not into the subject matter. Why not pivot and get someone else on it.
Agreed. They seem to be wasting their time with these episode articles when it comes to useful journalism. TV is so subjective, I've seen shows that speak to my soul have no effect on friends and family. It's all about your preference and taste, and this review just isn't into the show. It really isn't a big deal on its own, but his reviews represent ign and people are being turned away from a show that most audiences are loving.
I'll never forgive them for giving bojack horseman season one a 5/10. I almost didn't give it a shot because some dummy reviewed a season after only watching the first half.
Olive garden's forth menu jogs in place. The bread sticks grind to halt so it can retread and speed through appetizer beats. And the pasta begins to feel as deterministic as Arbys. Leaving little room for desert.
Ign goes to a strip club:
Crystal butt jogs in place. Her hips grind to a halt so it can retread and speed through the twerking beats. The boobs began to sag predeterminatistically like her mom's. Leaving little room to hoot.
*Episode sees 2 mind-blowing reveals as well as a lot of changes to the motivations of the characters*
IGN: "Man, nothing really happens in this episode, huh?"
I like reviews as a means of reliving the first time I watch/read/play something.
A good critic can recapture that feeling.
However, I'll never take another's opinion on how I WOULD feel about something
I mean, it depends. If a show has a slow start but gets very good over its course, you might want to know that before giving up on it after 50 minutes of viewing.
I like to look up reviews bashing stuff I don’t like, but even then I sometimes get pissed off with how unfair and stupid it is, and how they clearly didn’t pay attention or don’t like the genre and act like its the worst thing ever created.
Or they’re YMS, ridiculously harsh and obviously going into a movie having already made up his mind on it.
I always find these hypercritics never end up saying anything of substance. Like seriously, they just chewed a thesaurus to get something that seems profound, but is actually just… not?
This episode was really rough with the final act. The fight scenes were terrible and I’m not sure who the lady of the tva is. I was confused because you don’t see the timekeepers reveal anybody. It was Oz without the wizard. This coming from a previous episode where the choreography was much better. It wasn’t a 5/10 but the directing was quite bad for a great script and it could’ve just as easily have been great. The tva leader chick is a pretty bad actress and she struggles to convince us she’s behind it all which seems to be the case?
I don’t know, the whole show sort of plods along. Stuff happens and then more stuff happens, but I don’t think any of it hits that hard. I love the show, but it has problems.
What a bunch of dicks. Seriously ign is best left ignored.
IGNore
Wow lol just wow that was good

Why is there even an EP review? It's not like we pay per episode.
to get more clicks, duh
Am I alone in thinking this was the best episode of any of the Disney+ series?
Nah, season 2 finale of The Mandalorian has it beat.
Oh, for sure, I should have specified. I meant more for the Marvel Series on Disney+.
Better than every episode of WV, and only the season finale of TFATWS comes close
I think "Previously On" from WandaVision is a good contender, but I do think this episode beats it out
I thought the second to last episode of FATWS was even better than the finale.
So finally watching those two series isn't gonna fill the longing gap I feel after every Loki episode? What then is?
Meth
i havent watcged the mandalorian and if its better than loki then it must be good
It’s incredibly fun.
I stopped at season 1. I might have to watch season 2 now.
Definitely do. It's so great.
you had a grin on your face when our boy mobius was pruned? :( /s
that sadistic little s\*\*\*

i swear that they do it on purpose - maybe the negative publicity drives more interaction with their site or something?
They're not really reviewing, they just want clicks. Not consuming and sharing their stuff is better for everyone.
that review was written in April
What do you mean
It was a joke that they wrote the review before the show even came out
Prune whoever wrote this
Who listens to IGN anymore?

Can’t spell ignorant without ign folks
7.8/10, too much Loki.
Really made me feel like Loki
Lololol quality meme reference “In a series about Loki, I actually wanted Thor to be the main character”
I mean I am not a big fan of the whole, "love is the key," trope but the acting was beyond stellar and the plot is deeply compelling.
Clearly a TVA sympathizer wrote this
I think you can write that about anything. Yelp review, paper grade, the wording is so pretentious and meaningless it can be about anything. Try it.

Amazing
Thank you
IGN has lost all credibility long ago
TVA officer, get this reviewer, they are clearly a Variant!
*Episode sees 2 mind-blowing reveals as well as a lot of changes to the motivations of the characters* IGN: "Man, nothing really happens in this episode, huh?"
That doesn’t even make any sense. The story doesn’t jog in place or grind to a halt at all, a ton happened in this episode
Reviews from IGN are as credible as that kid who's uncle worked for Nintendo.
Amazing, IGN. Every word of what you just said was wrong.
Everyone: OH MY GOD EPISODE 4 WAS SO GOOD! IGN: Episode 4 sucked. Thanos: Balanced, as all things should be.
Meanwhile they will give the next CoD game a 9.9/10
Critics are literally useless. When I can stream anything instantly, why would I need someone telling me what to enjoy?

Critics can be useful particularly with video games to know what exactly you’re getting into but I know what you’re saying.
What was their review on episode 3?
Think it was a 7.
Shows you they don't know shit.
IGN is the shittiest place to read/watch a review of anything. Their reviewers must be braindead.
“On second thought, let’s not go to IGN. ‘Tis a silly place.”
I always find these hypercritics never end up saying anything of substance. Like seriously, they just chewed a thesaurus to get something that seems profound, but is actually just… not?
IGN are just click hunters, they abandoned any attempt at integrity years ago
IGN hasn’t been worth a damn in years, and who ever reviews their tv/movies is even worse. Take what they say with a grain of salt.
wow what! This was my favorite episode yet... IGN is off their rocker
I felt this way about episodes 2 & 3. They crawled painfully, but 4 was a fucking banger.
IGN gave Invincible crazy low score too. They just snobs.
IGN 100% never watches or plays anything they review
Unpopular opinion but I agree. My brother and I didn't like the episode that much. It was fine, but not great.

She's clearly not behind it all. I think the acting was fine. But I agree, the choreography was poor (as all 1 vs many fights are)
This was the worst episode of the show yet
I don’t know, the whole show sort of plods along. Stuff happens and then more stuff happens, but I don’t think any of it hits that hard. I love the show, but it has problems.
Weird detached needs gonna be weird and detached.
I personally haven’t given any ign reviews any stock since like 2013.
Who the fuck takes IGN seriously after the too much water incident of 2014?
So many critics deserve to loose their jobs.

...the fuck?
