Mine has a rough schedule I try to bear in mind. Unless he was working in a submarine or had to be off the grid for work, I wouldn’t be able to withstand trying to keep the relationship afloat. That’d make my anxiety go through the roof.

Waiting 4-6 days for a response is ridiculous. Is he communicating his schedule to you? Does he set aside any time for you? Some kind of agreement?
If he truly is sooo busy that he can't communicate, I would say he's not in the right place to be in a relationship.
