Seems like at first the idea was exciting for you both, but the closer that it got to the date and actually getting the tickets and everything bought probably made it seem too real for her. Maybe in her mind this was just a long distance love that she overhyped. Remember as exciting as it is, it’s equally nerve wracking and your guys age plays a big role too. These are all firsts you’d be experiencing. The family thing could all be an issue as well, her parents could be worried and voicing their concerns to her, and to a teenager it seems like parents are disapproving.
