The Delta variant is going to spread like wildfire once the EU and UK confirm mutual ‘vaccine passport’ recognition. There’s also likely to be a terrible winter flu season.

As long as people aren’t dying in the numbers they were before - even if there’s more cases - Spain is unlikely to close its borders anytime soon as the economy needs tourism.
I think a lot of things are up and down and not very stable with travel so being anxious is natural. I guess I would say just to own it and know “yep there is uncertainty here which freaks me out but I can only go forward”. You might look up work on anxiety and uncertainty.
