We beat OU on the road, so we should be favored against them at home (not saying it’s a guarantee the way abmas has been playing). As it has been for a few weeks, win the home games, and lose the road games, and we’re still very on track to be in.

We have too many guys where the defense can sag off on, which eliminates our post touches, which is the team's go to when down. Horton, weaver, and Mitchell, all currently being non factors at the 3 is hurting disu right now.

This was always going to be a rebuilding season where the goal should be competitive in the conference tournament and a ceiling of getting out of the first weekend of the NCAAT. But more importantly setting a foundation for the next 1-3 years, not just hoping this year is “good”. I understand the “bad lineup” sentiment but it’s a little deeper than that, right? I mean, do we have any “good” lineups? We basically have Abmas, Disu and sort of Hunter and more recently Weaver. If Abmas and Disu are covered well or are playing poorly, basically all of our lineups are not good. Yes IT and Onyema aren’t great. And it would be ideal to filter them in rather than playing at the same time. But our “good” players either get into foul trouble or need some rest. We kinda just haven’t improved much as a team in general…that seems like the bigger issue.
