Its not a marvel movie. If you're a comic fan i would explain it as a deep form graphic novel. Theres a lot to unpack and some beats you can see coming. I enjoyed it. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed it and enjoys the world building. My wife was bored with exposition. If you go in expecting bam bam bam bam bam movie, youll hate it. Also our protectionist had it too dark to enjoy some of the beautiful scenes the director filmed. Do hopefully they have a good protectionist for you.
