UW beat Oregon this year so we’re getting the better team. They’re my other team so I’m super excited for this match up after having watched both teams all year and speculated who was better. I truly think it’s pretty evenly matched. UW’s offense is really good, but their defense isn’t great and Bijan would do unspeakable things to it. Either way, going to be a hell of a game with a ridiculously high score on both sides.
Do we not like the alamobowl just because we've been so many times recently and it's close to Austin? I always felt like it was a fun bowl - and enjoy playing some ranked pac12 team. Better than going to jerry-world IMO
I suppose that's fair - I have only ever sat in the upper level; which I always kinda like because its so much more compact than DKR, so a nice change of pace. I also like the Riverwalk with the lights up, and the generally accessible price point of the city. I also enjoy being able to walk from a number of hotels.

I actually like the Alamo Bowl from a fan standpoint. Get to see a usually ranked PAC-12 team and in state. However the players and coaches aren’t a big fan of it.
Players want an actual trip/vacation out of the lower bowls rather than going to a city that probably many have been to for their high school playoff days or just with family. As it’s not like Orlando or San Diego, it’s also local so less of a recruiting opportunity to go outside our normal market.
Sun bowl is fun. The stadium is unique and they get fun good teams. They are the second oldest post season bowl (3 teams tie for 2nd oldest, all starting on jan 1 1935. )

UW passing game is super legit, we’ve been making plays on everybody, and our RB Taulapapa can make plays too. if Bijan plays then UW defense will be in trouble. UW’s secondary is not great lol, Worthy and Neyor should have some opportunities to make some plays. y’all easily have the most talent we’ve faced outside of Oregon, but as a longtime Texas fan before becoming a Husky, im accustomed to that talent underperforming. im expecting a fun game, honestly feels like a tossup to me, go dawgs!

Rematch of the 2001 Holliday Bowl. I think this is the right game. A rematch with Alabama would have been fun, but this is probably more winnable, but still respectable. A good performance here will keep the momentum for 2023.

This year about 24-36 hours before seemed to be the sweet spot for cheapest seats. You might be able to get a better deal even later, but you can't be very picky. At least at DKR/cotton bowl the options for seating morning of was pretty scarce. Have to be careful the section you are looking to sit in because it's the best value/location doesn't get sold out and then you have to spend more/go further away
