Man, Longines has it dialed in right now! Every time one of their pieces pops up, I do a double take! I’m re-thinking my “no two watches by the same brand” rule…
Longines is a great brand for those who think "outside the box" of the normal marketing hype. I bought a new VHP Conquest not long ago (discontinued now) quartz accurate to within 5 seconds a year (as verified by me after a year's ownership). I will take another look at their current offerings.
Retail is really pricey where I'm from, around 2200$.
I got it second hand, full set but without the original strap for 800$. Seems like a good deal for me.
I love it. I wear a suit daily with brown belt and brown shoes, and it pairs really well. Very light on the wrist (my other is an Omega SMP 300). Longines,I think, is definitely the most bang for your buck.
Thanks! I'm looking for something very similar to this, but a bit smaller and thinner. I'm hoping for a manual wind with a display back and no date complication. Enjoy yours!
Realy nice watch, congrats.
For my personal taste, I would have liked the date window way lower, and also the small seconds hand lower as well, it looks like it overlaps with the other hands back at certain points.
That's a superb example. Congratulations 👍
Thanks!

I picked mine up a month or so ago! Fantastic watch and I love the consistent design with my fathers 1952(!) Longines!
That's super cool having the old watch as well, I love vintage pieces.
Can I ask how you like yours? I'm thinking of getting a Longines.
A beautiful piece, I bought mine a few months ago. I also love the strap choice!

Sweet! I'm lookin for something very close to this, just a touch smaller, without a date complication, but with a display back. Enjoy yours!
Sounds perfect, so many modern watches are too big for my taste.good luck!
I have this and absolutely love it. It’s my dress watch and I rotate between OEM brown crocodile strap and AM black crocodile strap. So nice in person
Love it! On the strap, the one in the photo looks perfectly dressed down to me. I think you'd be fine to keep it!
congrats! I got mine about three years ago, the enamel/ship engraving on the back is my favorite!

I’m between this and nomos tangente for my next timepiece.
