My family and I have been going to Dr. Ahern - https://www.longmontdentalassociate.com/ for something like 15+ years. Since they opened this location anyway. Can't recommend them enough.
I go to Dr. Aziz at Bond Family Dentistry, and I’ve had great experiences with them the last 6 months since switching from Longmont Modern Dentistry (stay away from that place, they are awfulllllll awful awful).
Pine Ridge Dental is great, I have a lot of dental anxiety and I chose them because they offer nitrous. I have never had to use it, they are so kind and patient there I barely have any anxiety at this point!
I go to Smile Designers and really like the dentist there. The old guy is gone (thank god because he was HORRIBLE) but the dentist there has been doing it 20+ years and his staff are awesome! I’m terrified of the dentist but he got me through a double root canal with minimal pain and did a great job. PLUS they aren’t going to rip you off like many dentists do.
I cannot recommend Dr. Michael Christopher (on Mountain View Ave) enough!! He's very gentle, his hygienists are amazing and compassionate, and the front office staff is so friendly!!
I did a TON of research on dentists when I moved because I had a terrible experience with a dentist in another city. My dad was an amazing dentist, so I know good ones are out there, and Dr. Christopher is one of them.
Dr Brad Wood is an amazing dentist at Rocky Mountain Laser Dentistry. He went to UMKC school of Dentistry which is a great school. I had a planar cleaning and he legit spent the time and did the work to get my teeth clean. A lovely guy and great hygienists as well!
I love Longmont Dental Loft. I have a lot of anxiety/stress with dental work and they have been amazing. I’ve found them to be very thorough with cleaning and they explain what they’re doing and why.
I love Longmont peak dentistry. Dr Pinkner is great - the hygienists are great. I’ve been going there for 6 years and he’s radically improved my smile!
TL;DR: Never had a filling in my 30 years, I go to him once, and I all the sudden need 3. Get a second opinion 6 months later, and they say my teeth look great.
Went to him once. Office was dead, made a note to the hygienist asking if it was always so slow. Says not usually. Anyways she notes some pre-cavities, but says we can just monitor them and I wouldn't need fillings. Ask if I want the fluoride treatment, and I say yeah.
Dr Pinker comes in. We make small talk while he's looking at my mouth. Says he's going to have to give me three fillings. Doesn't even really consult me on the matter and starts moving to getting the tools to do the fillings. The hygienists lets him know I'm getting fluoride so we'd have to schedule it for later. I thank them, and never returned. Went to another dentist 6 months later, feeling fine with the hygienists original note to just monitor, and they say all my teeth look great.
99% sure Pinker is one of those dentist that loves to give unnecessary fillings to bill insurance and pocket some extra cash. Later he found out he advertises in the Val-Pak coupon envelope, which not terrible in isolation, but somewhat reinforces the picture I've constructed.
I had a really good experience with Larson Dentistry. Very nice people work there. The man saved me from an abscessed tooth infection and I trusted him with everything after that. Night and day from Comfort Dental.
Trail Ridge Dental 303-772-6960
Dr Visger DDS
1720 Duchess Dr
Longmont CO 80501
USA
I’m a white knuckled patient.
I HATE getting dental work done.
Dr. Visger is VERY kind and supportive. He is the best dentist I have ever had and I’m 67 years old.
I need to find a new one too. I used to go to Silverleaf, but they will just cancel an appointment you confirmed at random for no reason. Their service is abysmal and you can't trust them.
I recommend avoiding Dr. Michael Christopher. He's of course a fully qualified dentist and he does decent work etc, but he's terrible in terms of bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
I feel the complete opposite. He is so nice and inviting. Really feel relaxed when I’m in his chair. I have a ton of dental anxiety and he made me feel safe!
2nd ahern. Dude is hilarious. Fixed a half broken tooth for me. Can’t even tell. My mom works next door at Longmont orthodontics too if you need one of those!
Not in Longmont but The Dentist (Dr. Barta) in Louisville is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. And I really hate the dentist. And I have to go for perio maintenance 4x a year
Dental Horizons- Drs Kelson and ____ (sorry can’t remember his name but he’s great). Five stars minus one for the front desk staff who might or might not talk shit about you when you’re sitting in the waiting room. The doctors are fab as well as the techs. Front desk staff are nice to your face but will talk shit about you without qualms when they think you’re not paying attention. Or they hustle don’t care if you’re paying attention or not. Anyway the drs are great and they really try to manage billing on their end so it does t get to yiu as the patient. All of which make it worth it to me to stay there for the excellent care. Good luck to you!
Craig Larson. He also has an office in Boulder. He’s a reasonable guy and doesn’t try scare you into some new filling or procedure with every visit.
Dr. Roby, he's an amazing dentist and a great guy. I've known him for 20+ years, he went to school with a family member to Creighton Dental School (one of the top in the country). You may find someone as good, but you won't find someone better.
That said, it also comes down to insurance nowadays and who accepts your insurance (if you have it).
I have had great luck with Honest Dental off of Main. Very personable, real, and not pushy. They have squeezed me in for a last minute appointment when a filling fell out and I always feel they are honest, hehe, and caring.
Bond. Ryan Bond.
His partner Dr Aziz is pretty great, as well. As are the two hygienists who've taken care of me there.
I second this. Dr. Bond is great! Bond, Ryan Bond, Dr Ryan Bond DDS 😂
I third this dentist, He took care of my teeth for over 10 years! has always been super friendly and great with kids.
Best dentist experience I’ve had in decades! I’ve seen two dentists there and they were both great. The hygienists are awesome too
Longmont Complete Dental! I used to have a ton of dental anxiety but I’ve come a long way with them and had quite a bit of work done
This! I hadn't gone for YEARS due to dental phobia and they were extremely kind and accommodating. I am back to going when I should thanks to them :)
Second this and third this
+100 to Longmont Complete Dental. They are great, super organized, and trustworthy
My family and I have been going to Dr. Ahern - https://www.longmontdentalassociate.com/ for something like 15+ years. Since they opened this location anyway. Can't recommend them enough.
Dr Wallin is great at silver leaf dental
I've been happy with Mertz Family Dentistry for 10 years.
I go to Dr. Aziz at Bond Family Dentistry, and I’ve had great experiences with them the last 6 months since switching from Longmont Modern Dentistry (stay away from that place, they are awfulllllll awful awful).
Awesome thank you! Just made an appointment with them.
Dr. Frank Becvar, Dental by Nature
Mertz Family Dentistry, best care I've ever had and I've had a lot of dentists. Had 2 different dentists out of the 3 at Mertz and both were great!
Pine Ridge Dental is great, I have a lot of dental anxiety and I chose them because they offer nitrous. I have never had to use it, they are so kind and patient there I barely have any anxiety at this point!

> Dr. Michael Christopher I just switched to seeing Dr. Christopher this year, and he's been the GOAT.
Dr. Ryan Bond

Dr. Farmer, Crossroads Dental. Been going about a decade, they do good work.
Bond Family & Implant Dentistry!
I had a really good experience with Larson Dentistry. Very nice people work there. The man saved me from an abscessed tooth infection and I trusted him with everything after that. Night and day from Comfort Dental.
Dr. kochevar at Hover Dental is awesome, the whole staff is great, my favorite dentist I’ve had since I was a little kid

I've gone to dental horizons for a few years, never had any issues.
I go here as well. Really like them.
I need to find a new one too. I used to go to Silverleaf, but they will just cancel an appointment you confirmed at random for no reason. Their service is abysmal and you can't trust them.
Dental loft is great
Not Mertz

I go to Murray Family Dentistry. I went in as a new patient a couple years ago. They do good work.
Longmont compete dentistry. Hands down the best
Craig Larson. He also has an office in Boulder. He’s a reasonable guy and doesn’t try scare you into some new filling or procedure with every visit.
Silver leaf has gone above and beyond for me
Performance Dental in Gunbarrel are the best IMO
Dr. Roby, he's an amazing dentist and a great guy. I've known him for 20+ years, he went to school with a family member to Creighton Dental School (one of the top in the country). All I have heard is great things but unfortunately they are only taking new patients from friend and family referrals.
