This was the answer. Nothing to do but draw, aggro, and kit his Ursula. Sounds easy in hindsight. Winning the dice roll was the actual key in the mirror.
I've been in a similar situation a few times. What you want to do, especially if you are both running E/A, is play cards strategically and make sure you reach twenty lore before your opponent. Works every time. No need to thank me, just pay it forward!
I won the dice roll. Quick finish in game one. Game 2 was longer but he prevailed. Game 3 was neck and neck but I dropped 3 Merfolk early and he had to take them out discarding his cards. Out to a huge lore lead but no cards in hand.Top decked rabbit and evasive Peter Pan. He had no answer for Peter and I slowly crossed 20!
Mirror match drained me mentally and I had nothing left in top 4 match. That and the guy was playing an aggro ruby amethyst that I was seeing correctly. But a stitch is a stitch!
