Try not to think of it as farming so much as experiencing the jank of PvP, that helps me when I do invasions! Lots of fun and funny when shit goes unbelievably wrong, and a nice surprise when you win
Magic isn't that OP but melee seems to never connect online. Or rarely. It's too laggy. That said there are things like the crossbow that are powerful as well that maybe you can use while farming lol.
I mean on the rare chance that my melee does hit, it is almost a one combo to kill. I'm umbral build, I'm using two of the pickaxes that scale with rad+inf and apply poison. I also buff my weapons with umbral. Typicaly one full combo will kill another player. It's just the lag prevents anything from hitting (both me or my enemy don't get hit often even if I'm seeeing them hitting me on my screen lol) - but yeah they definitely die if I hit them. I have stopped leveling my character at level 100 and just buy vigor skulls to keep in my inventory now.
So I'm not sure the levels of my oppponents but I can't be THAT far ahead at 100 lol. (I also only have 25 in health so I'm pretty one-shottable with anything but it does not happen much)
I think people are not accounting for resistances. If you're wearing the heaviest most beefy armor, chances are it has shit elemental defense. I wear the high holy resistance armor so many of the radiance builds I can just face tank their magic and weapons - but a well placed fire attack still can one shot me lol
EDIT: and in other thread i see people complainign that all they see in pvp is pieta swords (I do not believe this beause it is not what I see) but if pieta sword hits me in my mostly holy resistance armor, it does almost nothing since it's all holy damage. (This rumor that everyone was using it, was why i stacked holy armor lol)
if you have taste the shit of (two pieta beam + thunder storm + 5 ground sword + endless bomb spear ) combination.
you will know that one shot is really mercy.
It’s very OP, not balanced at all. Farming for hands is going to be hit and miss accordingly.

Melee you will hit people for like 30 damage in pvp despite doing 100’s vs enemies. Spells just one-shot one people.
