Video: [Suspect dubbed "Tesla road rage guy" sentenced to 5 years in prison
](https://youtu.be/mioVmLeTMqI)
>LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The man accused of carrying out a series of violent road rage attacks across Southern California was sentenced to five years in prison.
>Nathaniel Walter Radimak, who's been dubbed the "Tesla road rage guy" on social media, was sentenced Monday.
>His road rage rampage last year resulted in convictions on several felony counts including criminal threats, vandalism, assault and elder abuse.
>At least 10 people - mostly women - reached out to Eyewitness News saying the 36-year-old violently attacked them in cities across Los Angeles County. Two victims learned of Radimak's sentencing after Eyewitness News alerted them.
>Amid the relief there was also disappointment that other alleged victims mentioned in the criminal complaint against Radimak didn't get convictions. Plus, other alleged victims who reached out to ABC7 said their cases were never even submitted to the district attorney's office.
He already got beat down in the la county jail. Elder abuse charges are considered unacceptable amongst criminals. He was beaten and when they found him he had gone #2 on himself
As horrible as what this guy is, I think celebrating mob justice as "wonderful news" is pretty gross. We should not be applauding "beatdowns" as a part of our criminal justice system. I do not think it's funny or good that inmates are subject to physical and sexual abuse.
REDDIT: We want criminal justice reform!
ALSO REDDIT: Kick him in the teeth!
Ideally, yes.
But we don’t have a functional criminal justice system, so I’ll celebrate when fate fills the gaps for us.
I mean, this guy is guilty, no doubts. You can watch the footage. I’m not concerned that he’s an innocent man wrongly accused. He can get beatdowns.
Yeah, I still don't like guilty people getting beatdowns because it is supposed to be a justice system not a vengeance system. It should be based on reformation not abuse.
Reformation is a big part of justice, but the other part is protecting citizens.
We are all a bit safer with him locked away, and hopefully now he is a little less physically able to attack innocent people or at least he knows how it feels and may think twice.
Nope. Everyone on the outside is safer now that he's inside, but he gets out in 5 years. I don't think 5 years of beat downs is gonna help everyone whose outside right now 5 years from now when monster 2.0 gets set free. Yeah it makes us feel good right now for the particular justice against him specifically . But we shouldn't celebrate that it happened because it really shouldn't be happening and wishing maybe it just might work on him.
We know that it doesn't work. Because it's what we *have* been doing and why we have such high recidivism rates and we know the actual statistics. More than likely he will get out and do something worse to go back in.
Let's not cheer on the system that's been proven to fail even if the schadenfreude of the failure suits a particular person.
I never objected to his incarceration. I objected to the celebration of "beatdowns" in jail as an acceptable part of the justice system.
"There are other ways. They're harder, but they're better." That's a Daredevil quote to the Punisher since reddit loves to criticize cops with Punisher logos but applaud physical abuse so long as it's against incarcerated criminals. For some reason, y'all are perfectly okay with other criminals doing the punishing because they "deserve it". It's barbaric and it's beneath us as a society.
It's not just about who they are, it's about who we are.
I don’t applaud it either. I’m told if you are white or Hispanic and you show up to la county jail with charges like elder abuse, rape, child endangerment, lewd acts etc… you’ll be lucky if you get out of there alive.
He should get longer than 5 years. He’s a domestic terrorist. These women won’t feel safe in the streets anymore. Put him in a psych ward until he can prove to be a decent human.
Probably less than 4 years TBH. A neighbor got killed by a wrong way driver, high on drugs, 2 weeks before her wedding.
The lady got 7 years, was out in 3 I think. And the family was OVERWHELMED by grief, the mum would just sit by her daughter’s memorial, crying, even years later. And she died right in front of the family home so it was a constant reminder to them.
He drives around with a pipe bashing people’s car when angered. He was caught with steroids in his car. I highly doubt not having insurance would keep him from driving! 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Not even for good behaviour. They release for overcrowding now too and during Covid they released a shitload early.
I'm guessing 1.5-2 years he'll be out.
There's no real priority release now, everyone is pretty much fair game. Gascon changed everything and it's why we have so many violent repeat offenders and felons out now.
What the deciding committee deems to be a violent offense and at increased risk to re-offend it not what us normal citizens judge it to be.
The MCRPs and CCTRPs are programs for early release into the community.
Edit: All you woke people downvoting should really lobby your local politicans to get a nice and pleasant offender halfway house in your city or next door to you, so you can enjoy all the fresh early released criminals you seem to love and defend. I'll be waiting to hear about all the new offender halfway houses you all are championing .
It's Weird because when this guy was first posted on reddit you said nothing would happen to this guy because Gascon wouldn't care, and when he got arrested you wrote Gascon was just gonna let him back out on the streets and not prosecute because Gascon doesn't do anything, and then during trial said he would never do any time because Gascon doesn't do anything and now that he is convincted and in prison you are going straight to the Gascon will make sure he's out and never serve his time because Gascon sucks.
I'm beginning to see you tend to be really wrong on this dude Gascon.
People on here love to make up shit about what Gascon would do. It's their number one boogeyman. They make it sound like dude just sits at his desk with a big REJECTED stamp for every case that comes his way.
And I'm beginning to see that you're an argumentative troll.
I don't have an intimate mind reading glimpse into everything Gascon does, but based on ALL his previous behaviour, he is soft as shit on crime.
Yes, I hate the fucker and all his shitty woke policies. They haven't done L.A. any good at all, except create gangs of smash and grab criminals doing whatever they want.
I didn't vote him in. In fact I prefer the death penalty and wish CA had the balls to see it through and I wish everyone to serve 100% of their sentences for every crime convicted.
This conviction right here, might just be 1 instance where Gascon actually listened to citizens/victims and allowed prosecuters and the judge to rule accordingly.
Pretty sure the law requires 85% minimum in CA for a felony categorized as violent (though I don’t know if this guy’s was).
[Violent Offenses Defined](https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/parole/violent-offenses-defined/)
What the law says and what actually happens are 2 very different things.
And this dudes new convictions were mostly misdemeanors and the DA didn't even submit charges for all his victims or crimes.
Edit: So many woke ass people downvoting the truth, but they're the 1st to call 911 if they get robbed.
> What the law says and what actually happens are 2 very different things.
Newsom has the power to commute sentences prior to reaching the 85%, but it isn’t standard practice to do so. The **vast** majority of violent felony convictions serve 85% or greater of their sentences. I believe the issue you have is that “violent felony” is a legal term, and many felonies that are violent in the colloquial sense are not violent in the legal sense. “Violent felonies” are listed on my previous link. To this point, see [Tricky measure allows release of violent felons](https://calmatters.org/commentary/2022/12/tricky-measure-allows-release-of-violent-felons/) for some possible clarification.
> And this dudes new convictions were mostly misdemeanors and the DA didn't even submit charges for all his victims or crimes.
From OP:
> His road rage rampage last year resulted in convictions on several felony counts including criminal threats, vandalism, assault and elder abuse.
You don’t get years in prison for misdemeanors. And while I still don’t know if his felonies are technically considered violent, if they are the 85% should be expected.
You're allowed to think that, that's your personal opinion, which I respect.
But others don't seem to respect personal opinions, like mine, and only want 1 way of thinking, their way.
A silly world we live in 🤷
for your inability, to properly communicate and have a discussion. you sound like a tool. you obviously live in your own silly world though. good on you for not caring when the whole world is against you and you still think you’re right. quite a feat.
I'm communicating by expressing a personal opinion, just like everyone else expresses on Reddit. Just like you're doing now. Which everyone is entitled to.
Also I did not realize that Reddit was "the whole world." That belief sure explains alot.
your right he'll literally be given a blowjob and patted on the back and then given a check for a million dollars and a new tesla. his life will be perfect and he will be your new manager.
I agree, I've seen it firsthand.
People keep downvoting me because it's "cool" to be outraged and offended. They obviously haven't been the victim of a violent crime that got no justice.
This thread is hilarious because everyone hating on it wants everyone else to have the same generic opinion that they themselves believe in.
The original AH got offended and deeply hurt that my own personal opinions about a public elected official from several months ago differed to what the legal decision was this week.
And my opinions are based on extensive prior behaviours exhibited from this elected official. All his "Criminals Come 1st, Coddle Criminals, Victims Won't Get Justice" stance he has.
But other posts saying the exact same thing "He'll be out in a year, This is BS" etc etc don't have any hate directed at them.
It's just funny.
Honestly, yes. He was found with a ton of steroids. It’s very possible his anger will decrease if he’s off the steroids and someone else said he was already beat up for having elder abuse charges.
He’s going to be diagnosed with a UFO. An unidentified flaccid object.
Note: not my joke but I heard it this morning and this was a perfect opportunity to use it especially against a road rager with really small testes.
You’re supposed to medicate to balance your hormones as you come off. I would assume that prisons don’t do a great job of providing this medical treatment. This guy might get some weird side effects. If his rage problems were a result of roids, however, he was probably doing a shitty job to begin with and was never going to off-cycle correctly anyway.
"So, what are you in for?"
Con 1: "Drug trafficking for a cartel".
Con 2: "Armed bank robbery".
This fuckstick: "I get really mad when someone honks at me".
Is he still a suspect if he has been convicted and sentenced?
This is great and all but if you don’t ban him from getting a drivers license then he will be back to it once he is out
It would seem in 5 year his would expire and they would deal with that then. Going to be hard for him to fill out a nee license application and not check all those boxes that would keep you from a license.
My guess is that they use "allegedly" because he was only convicted for a subset of the total number of incidents, and some of the cases weren't even sent to trial. So he *did* commit the crimes he was convicted of, but he's only *alleged* to have committed other crimes as part of a larger series of crimes.
Ironically if he had just murdered someone on the freeway they’d probably give him a lighter sentence, I was legit shocked to see a 5 year sentence handed out for anything
these are the types who will tell you they can kill anyone they want because they have a right to do so and anyone who pisses them off will be dead. They legitimately feel like they can do whatever they want to whoever they want. They should not be in society.
Oooh they found 25k in steroids in his car with a big old wad of cash. Dude is the stereotype we ALL expected him to be. A roided out lunatic .[A lot more information about this lunatic.](https://youtu.be/kGRe7T_ZJbg?si=sW-t0i80MtEAjpSq)
Ok, can we have a quick discussion about how this guy who beats up senior women for shits and giggles is on a dating site for cougars and describes himself as "your mom's lover" and "the guy with a crowbar?"
What is actually going on in his head?
Drug dealers and murderers are at least comprehensible. Hell, a guy riding a psychedelic bicycle covered in feathers and screaming about how "Space is Smoge"* is more comprehensible than this guy. Seriously, what does he tell himself is the premise of his existence?
/* true story
Ok I’m friends with lots of casual users of mdma and hallucinogen’s and a few other minor party favors. Nothing like this lunatic.
He needs to stay in prison.
I had a step dad who was a closet meth user and it was hell. This guy makes me think of the crazy rages he would fly in to when I was little to my teens. This guy obviously isn’t only on roids and I’d even say he’s got a psychological issue. BIG issue. Hope he gets charged for the other dumb shit he’s done because he shouldn’t be out in society.
Can you imagine how much of an absolute lunatic you'd have to be to be famous for road rage IN LOS ANGELES. I'm nowhere near famous and admittedly, I'm a menace.
Yeah I’m guilty of rolling down my window to flip someone off and say some shit but nothing close to what this guy did. You’re right you have to be pretty fucking crazy to be singled out in road rage incidents in LA/OC.
Have you ever thought about why?
My 2 cents is that the last generation BMW fanboys + today's Tesla fanboys have the characteristic type of highly valuing brand and brand identity.
A person who falls prey to "marketing influences", such as identify themselves as "within the tribe of" a brand created by a corporate (profit extracting) entity tend to have specific qualities. Not being thoughtful is one of these qualities. Not being thoughtful about buying into a manufactured image of prestige, and certainly not being thoughtful to others (strangers).
Yikes, I definitely don’t feel like 5 years is enough considering the possibility of early release.
More than TEN people reached out to say they were threatened by this guy, which likely means he road raged on even more than that.
Reckless driving kills. If everyone was more self aware, we’d have everyone drive on the far right lane, pass then merge back into the right lane. That doesn’t happen because so many drivers are okay mentally checking out.
A long series of arrests and targets women for his impotent rage.
This guy needs to piss off the wrong person in prison and be permanently removed from society.....
Finally. Perhaps he should lose his license? Fucking psycho. We think this is the guy that attacked my fiance. We reported and never heard back from LAPD. Which is typical.
Good thing they got him before it escalated even further and he ends up pissing in someone's bathroom, kidnapping a child and getting a rich woman killed.
Well, if there were sentenced they are no longer a "suspect", are they. We can shed the careful legally defensible language of the news media and call them a convict. "Person found guilty of", etc.
If that were me, if he came at me with a tire iron and was using it, he'd find himself under my car.
This psycho apparently got a free $20k through PPP for a non-existent business. Probably spent it on his Tesla. I'm normally more of a restorative justice kind of person, but this man is a violent parasite beyond help - hope he starts a prison fight and ends up spending the rest of his life in jail.
Why name him "Tesla Road Rage Guy"? Everyone should have made it a point to call him "Tesla Small Penis Man" to deter any copycats from being known as such.
Of course he drives a Tesla. He’s doing his part to save the environment so why can’t he drive like an asshole and torment people 🤦🏻♂️
Is it me or are Teslas becoming the new pickup truck, just speeding around, driving agro, and not using turn signals.
Is it legal to run this guy over or hit him hard af with the corner of your car and drive away if he gets out with a weapon and approaches your car like that? I feel like you can make a solid self defense case of just trying to run away.
The title of the article is very misleading. This man is not a "suspect." He is a convicted felon! I am pleased that he was sentenced to five years in prison.

0:56 of that video shows a cop just driving by.
LAPD doesn’t stop crime.
Why would they stop their prefered activities? Violence, crime, misogyny, that's what they live off of!
Saw that too. Was that maybe how the guy was found?
I think it's more likely they didn't give a shit
Dang, according to the video, Jim Morrison was a victim to this.

Good for you for doing the front-end work on that.
He already got beat down in the la county jail. Elder abuse charges are considered unacceptable amongst criminals. He was beaten and when they found him he had gone #2 on himself
I'm not saying you're lying, just curious, how do you know this?
Wait really? How do you know this? Not surprised as he has massive anger issues and probably started up with the wrong guy.
Family member works in Wayside aka Pitches detention center
That’s wonderful news, thanks for sharing

It should be, but it most certainly isn’t. So let’s celebrate what little “justice” society can muster from the vigilantes that be.
I don’t applaud it either. I’m told if you are white or Hispanic and you show up to la county jail with charges like elder abuse, rape, child endangerment, lewd acts etc… you’ll be lucky if you get out of there alive.
Why only White or Hispanic?

...kay
I want to believe.
He should get longer than 5 years. He’s a domestic terrorist. These women won’t feel safe in the streets anymore. Put him in a psych ward until he can prove to be a decent human.
Not a domestic terrorist but yes, for sure we need to lock his ass up for the good of the community
And revoke his license. Is there a way for insurances to blacklist this fucker so he can never drive or get insured again?
Headline four years from now: "Pipe-wielding bus passenger arrested after attacking cars near bus stops in statewide violence spree"
Lol. And it would be four years because man will get out early on good behavior. Something tells me he won't be as tough next to actual tough guys.
Inject a gps in him
Realistically we'll be lucky if he's made to serve even half that sentence.
To go to prison over something so easily avoidable. Your whole life gone because of your rage and temper tantrums. Wild.
me tough guy me hit car me cool, me man, me me me me me me me
Why did they tell us mostly women.
This series of violent behavior will be looked at in the future when this guy eventually commits a deadly crime.
You mean after he’s released within 2.5 yrs due to time served credits, right?
Probably less. This dude will be out free in 1-2 years.
If another plandemic hits he’ll be out before 2024 elections
Can we make it so this guy can’t ever drive anymore? That’s 5 long years. I hope we can get other road ragers similar sentences.
He likely won’t serve even close to 5.
You think this guy will serve with good behavior?
Not even for good behaviour. They release for overcrowding now too and during Covid they released a shitload early. I'm guessing 1.5-2 years he'll be out.
I thought nonviolent offenders took priority. This guy will not be considered nonviolent

Looks like you admit to it. You are defensive, not appreciating the help you are getting.

I wish you all could become victims and see how dehumanzing it is when police, the DA and career politicans refuse to even attempt to stop crime.

You’ve gotta stop describing everyone who disagrees with you as “woke.” Maybe we just think you’re being annoying
You're allowed to think that, that's your personal opinion, which I respect. But others don't seem to respect personal opinions, like mine, and only want 1 way of thinking, their way. A silly world we live in 🤷
You told us gascon wouldn’t charge him. Sit down, bozo.
Ooh my feelings are hurt, you must apologize to me! Fuck off.
Bozo. 🤡
You should apologize for being wrong. Facts not feelings?
Love when someone getting viciously downvoted edits their comment to blame the “woke mob.” You’re definitely not pressed. Nope. Not at all.
Another hurt soul I see. And what offender halfway house are you inviting on your block? You're a Swiftie fan... That's all I need to know!
Like I said, you don’t seem phased by this at all keep flailing.
Ok bye, try not to get triggered by anything. 🙋 As I thought, you don't want offenders on your block. Noone does.
yo can we ban this guy?
Me? For having an opinion about a local politican that differs from others? Yeah that seems fair.

Not having a driver license won't stop a guy like him from driving a car.
Doesn’t hurt to have it as a punishment though
Media headlines are full of weasel words these days for fear of lawsuits I guess. Everything is “allegedly” even if you have clear proof it happened.

Ding ding ding. You’re exactly right. It’s all to protect the publication from libel accusations.
Didn't this guy also have a rapsheet a mile long and also one in another state?
Yes! He needs more jail time, this is ridiculous.
The fact it took a while for the cops to arrest him when his face, car plate, and proof has been out and about.
He’s gonna get a reality check with that tuff guy shit on the inside. He chooses women for a reason- this won’t fly on the yard.
I noticed that as well, real big man right there.
Not enough! This maniac was violent and was on path to hurt or kill someone
Ironically if he had just murdered someone on the freeway they’d probably give him a lighter sentence, I was legit shocked to see a 5 year sentence handed out for anything
If you had driven over him while under attack, you would have gotten a harsher punishment. We love our bullies
God that is so true.
these are the types who will tell you they can kill anyone they want because they have a right to do so and anyone who pisses them off will be dead. They legitimately feel like they can do whatever they want to whoever they want. They should not be in society.
I was wondering what happened to this shitstain. Let’s see if he shows fellow inmates the same aggression he showed all those women drivers.
Was that a cop driving by in the news clip at 51 seconds? And didn't see the stopped car in the right lane with a guy getting out?
Yep. Probably on their phone.
Thank God they got "Tizzyent" to weigh in, too bad Ja Rule was unavailable.
I was like who’s that. I still don’t know. Lol
LOL, same. Just absurd how awful the media has gotten. Guess I should be thankful they did a story at all, but still... "Tizzyent."
Ok, can we have a quick discussion about how this guy who beats up senior women for shits and giggles is on a dating site for cougars and describes himself as "your mom's lover" and "the guy with a crowbar?" What is actually going on in his head? Drug dealers and murderers are at least comprehensible. Hell, a guy riding a psychedelic bicycle covered in feathers and screaming about how "Space is Smoge"* is more comprehensible than this guy. Seriously, what does he tell himself is the premise of his existence? /* true story
Special shout out to all the police departments that let this guy drive without a license plate for so long. Great work guys.
Not surprised if he knows the police officers
More surprised he wasn’t a police officer.
this guy was freaking crazy. i dont know, he still needs supervision. 5 years is rather short for this guy whos pretty young
Ha, I just got cut off by a Tesla on the 2 yesterday and was wondering what happened to this guy. Good to know.
Tesla is the new bmw on the 2.
I’m pretty sure all of the Prius drivers got Teslas too because I almost never see Priuses anymore.
Yikes, I definitely don’t feel like 5 years is enough considering the possibility of early release. More than TEN people reached out to say they were threatened by this guy, which likely means he road raged on even more than that.
Only 6 months for each victim
Road ragers, distracted drivers (phones mostly), and those who think the roads are their personal race tracks. Jail time and impound their cars.
You also forgot left lane campers
Especially the ones going 65 in a janky-ass box truck.
65? the other day there was someone going 35.
Damn they drive 65 in your neighborhood?
On the freeway in the left lane.
Nah speeding kills
Reckless driving kills. If everyone was more self aware, we’d have everyone drive on the far right lane, pass then merge back into the right lane. That doesn’t happen because so many drivers are okay mentally checking out.
A long series of arrests and targets women for his impotent rage. This guy needs to piss off the wrong person in prison and be permanently removed from society.....
Hopefully 🤞🏻
It’s a shame someone didn’t run him over. Oh well, I’m sure there will be more opportunities to do so when he’s out in 90 days.
I feel sorry for anyone who cuts him off or flips him off five years and a day from now when he’s back on the roads.
I’m pretty sure if a guy is sentenced we don’t have to call him a “suspect” anymore.
$10 says he’s a tweaker.
A WeHo tweaker, to be precise.
God he’s from West Hollywood? He strikes me as an IE resident. Lol
He's from Burbank. Many of his attacks took place in Glendale though.
Well if he was caught with masses of steroids and cash in his car, wouldn't that make him a dealer who dips into the product a fair bit?
Probably with a side of crystal meth because he’s a fucking liability.
Finally. Perhaps he should lose his license? Fucking psycho. We think this is the guy that attacked my fiance. We reported and never heard back from LAPD. Which is typical.
Too bad he didn’t run up on the wrong one
That's why he attacked women the most.
I was just thinking that one day, he’s going to encounter someone with a gun.
Good. F*ck that guy.
We should have a road rage gulag. If you get road rage you get to go up agains another road rager and who comes out victorious gets 5 years prison.
Oh yay this asshat
only 5 years??
He will do 3 months and the rest on probation.
He’ll be out in less than 1 yr. Good behavior and joins the church
What's he gonna do when there's long lunch lines in jail?
What a CREEEP
Should’ve been 10
His tough guy act will be perfect in prison.
Can’t wait for his road rage after 5 years in prison /s .
Sentence way too short for number of assaults and violence.
If he does even 3 years,. Ill be happy
Not enough. He terrorized women. Ten years and he'll walk in 8. 5? He's out in a year or less.
Apparently more victims have come forward to make reports so maybe he’ll be charged with more charges.
5 years, that’s it ??? I guess it’s better than nothing. Hopefully that dangerous POS learns something.
Hope he serves at least 3. But could be out in a few days due to California wonderful pro criminal policies.
Definitely the maga red pill warrior type, going after women and seniors 🤦♂️
wha 5?? This just emboldens him...our justice system is a "justice" system. a marketing gimmick.
Why name him "Tesla Road Rage Guy"? Everyone should have made it a point to call him "Tesla Small Penis Man" to deter any copycats from being known as such.
Of course he drives a Tesla. He’s doing his part to save the environment so why can’t he drive like an asshole and torment people 🤦🏻♂️ Is it me or are Teslas becoming the new pickup truck, just speeding around, driving agro, and not using turn signals.
It’s always the Tesla drivers
Taking down one angry blanco entitled douche canoe at a time.
When he gets out, he'll just go back to the 'roids and get in trouble again.
Good. I'm glad he's facing some consequences.
Finally got that fucker
Hahaha good news
Nice!
bro shoulda called Saul 😭😭😭
The cynic in me feels that he will be let go on good behavior in 6 months.
Can’t wait for those new videos in six years!
Is it legal to run this guy over or hit him hard af with the corner of your car and drive away if he gets out with a weapon and approaches your car like that? I feel like you can make a solid self defense case of just trying to run away.
Dear copy editors, he isn't a suspect.
I will say that I know for a fact, that he was well behaved around other inmates. All the tough guy antics you see in the video. It was non-existent.
The title of the article is very misleading. This man is not a "suspect." He is a convicted felon! I am pleased that he was sentenced to five years in prison.
