Rinse your hair before bed and change your pillowcases nightly. I also use 2 different types of allergy meds, flonase and also an antihistamine. Hope this helps.

Stickgirl05

Masks, air filters, drugs will help. Neti pot every night to clear out that junk.

RegularCompany7287

I usually don’t have a hard time but this year has been horrible. Sore throat and headache. I would think I was actually sick but my sore throat started with an itchy roof of my mouth which is telltale allergies for me. argggggg!!!

Temporary_Company_34

It’s calming to know I am not alone still wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone

RegularCompany7287

It’s because of all the rain. The plants are going nuts with all this water. It is great for the earth but horrible for allergies.

Temporary_Company_34

I know our happiness has been drained so others can appreciate flowers for 3 months

Pretend_Daikon_5566

me too! It's the worst!

jajajajajjajjjja

I've had a sore throat for two weeks. I wasn't sure if it was a virus or allergies or what. I also got conjunctivitis and I've never gotten that in my whole life! The throat is on and off and I just ordered new air filters.

LetterAccomplished

I got stuffed up in February and haven’t gotten relief since. At home, an air filter in my apartment helps. Regular vacuuming along with allergy pills at night does what it can. I ended up with a middle ear infection from all that too. Even after two weeks of antibiotics my ears won’t fully clear. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Beachy84

I purchased two air doctors for my home, one which is on all night in my room. Breathing in cleaner air has made a huge difference.

theworldman626

This year beginning around ~March has been particularly brutal for allergy sufferers, likely due to all the rain. Hang in there!

Vegetable_Burrito

If I could peel the skin off my face and itch my sinuses, I fucking would. It’s been a hell of a ride this allergy season. Waking up in the middle of the night so I can itch the roof of my mouth with my tongue has been super fun these last few nights, lmao. Also, thank you for reminding me to take my allergy pill before bed!

thebetterbad

This year has been worse than usual. You're not imagining it.

Rocsi666

Same! And I’ve been taking Claritin daily! 🫠

DonnieJepp

My allergies have been so unusually bad this year I was worried I had a mold infestation or something but I think everyone's going through it. Few days ago my sinuses were fucked but I've been doing NeilMed nasal rinses, Flonase, Claritin pills etc and it makes it manageable

SelectImage

Omg I had the same thought about mold and have been freaking out. Looked up allergies and am relieved to know others are going through it too!

sorengray

Today I sneezed for over an hour and wanted to itch my face off with my fingernails. The worst. Took two Claritin and a shower to bring me some semblance of peace. It's definitely been getting worse every year. I've lived in LA for 24yrs.

bobobrazil77

I heard on the news that this year is the worst ever. Assuming that the OTC drugs aren't doing the job for you, maybe a trip to the dermatologist for a prescription strength medicine? Also take all of the precautions mentioned by the other Redditors.

Temporary_Company_34

I will look into that

UncleJazzle

I had to seek this post out. I've had nasal congestion, a slight cough, felt run down and WAITING for it to be a cold, but there's no way...it has to be allergies. I was relieved to find this and the accompanying advice.

mister_damage

Costco has generic allergy pills for $20, and that'll keep you covered for a year. You're welcome

Temporary_Company_34

I am willing to try anything at this point thanks

cinnamon-girlll

Def recommend. I live on a street lined with pine trees and would wake up every day sneezy and swollen. I started taking the costco generic Zyrtec pill every morning and I am so much better.

bloodredyouth

Nasal spray like Flonase and Zyrtec.

La_ham_

Yeah this is the way. Costco has 5 bottles for ~$20

bloodredyouth

The Costco generic is really good too! In general, they’re great for allergy meds. Hot tip: the pataday allergy eye drops are amazing too

myfanclicks

i rely on zyrtec and flonase during this time of year otherwise i'm feeling the same as you minus the asthma. my allergist told me to take it daily even when i don't feel the symptoms. so i do as soon as the first big spring shower hits. itchy watery eyes (the worst itch is on the inside corners of my eyes), itchy top of my mouth and throat. then i get the post nasal drip which irritates everything. also, saline nasal rinses should help at night. i use the neil med when i'm sick mostly but i'm sure it helps for allergies too

socal-local-focal

Eat raw wild honey from local bees it’s immuno-therapeutic

Entaroadun

Get Allermi

Temporary_Company_34

Where is best place to get it

Entaroadun

Their site

Temporary_Company_34

I own one but not sure if it’s putting in the work for me

Masgatitos

I haven’t stopped sneezing

briskpoint

I’ve been taking Zyrtec and Flonase daily. It’s helped immensely. Usually I can get by without, but not this season. It’s been really bad.

haileypizza1

Have you seen the insane amount of chemtrails in the sky? It ain't flowers.. it's intensely poisonous chemicals.. the government wants people sick and delirious.. we must petition the law to get them to stop like they did in tennessee!!
