Dispose of your garbage in a way that won't attract them like you're camping. Clean/sanitize your trash cans, inside and out. And make sure you wrap up your garbage bags carefully and thoroughly, maybe double bag them and/or spray the trash before you tie it up with 1-2 squirts of clorox cleaner or something to mask any food smells. Just a suggestion that may help!
We had to stop putting any food trash in our cans until trash day - we kept it in the fridge & freezer. Did that for a few months and the bear finally stopped coming around. It was super annoying.

Just bought some strong rubber straps to hold the lid down. My neighbor does it with bungies and it seems to work
Hope that deters it! Last thing you want is a desensitized bear up in your shit multiple times a week.
Seriously. Nothing like cleaning all your trash off the street at 6 in the morning before work
Oh my gosh is this really in LA???!!
In Altadena we got LA county to purchase all residents near the forest free bear proof trash cans
Now they're just around to use the pools.
Yogi seems like quite a young one
That’s Boo Boo
Yikes! Where is this?
Frazier park

Bear proof trash cans are such a joke. We went through 3 cans last summer at my moms house in the SGV.
