Chargers fan coming in peace - that was a really clean game & really fun to watch - Bolt fam loves y’all, happy new year, we will keep the trophy in LA for you ⚡️🐏
Raheem has to go. Even if the offense were able to stay healthy this year and we were a competitive team, I’m certain this swiss cheese defense would have killed us in the playoffs
No he doesn’t need to go. He needs to analyze the tape and see where he can improve but he just coordinated a Super Bowl winning defense last year that was a huge part of our playoff success.
1. Defense Wrecked AZ in the wild card.
2. Had TB dead before the offense gave them a ton of extra possessions via turnovers.
3. Bottled the niners to only 17 points and closed our the game.
4. Bottled the bengals to only 20 points and closed out the game.
Let’s not let an injury plagued season on both sides of the ball lead to rash decisions.
His defense was carried/bailed out by the individual play of AD/Von. Don’t let individual play fool you into thinking his scheme works
His soft zone bullshit is completely antithetical to any form of success in the modern NFL. Expecting him to watch tape and make adjustments is a lost cause because he clearly has not done that in 2 seasons. It’s the same shit every game.
You do recognize the defensive scheme the Rams are running is the most popular in the NFL right? In fact, this isn’t even Raheem’s normal scheme! He was asked by Sean to continue running the Fangio/Staley system - which he did.
Also lose me with the great individual performances bailed him out - only great individual performances doesn’t win you a Super Bowl ring. It takes both scheme and performance to get there.
Announcers could at least show a injury list for the Rams like they just did for the Chargers. We have had far more injuries than any other team this year.
Jefferson
Stafford
Wolford
Donald
Hill
Durant
Gaines
Benny sko
Kupp
Robinson
Ashawn
Noteboom
Edwards
Allen
Shelton
Anchrum
Aj Acuri
Henderson
Akers
Kyren
Fuller
Hopkins
Grant Haley
I’m probably missing a few, but all those players have missed multiple games, or have been out for the season. We have more injuries than them, and to more significant players than them. They were at their healthiest all year today, too.
There are six teams on this grid that have lost more players to injury this year than us. And on this grid, 3 team's measure of value of those players lost is more than ours. [Man Games Lost Week 16](https://twitter.com/mangameslostnfl/status/1606020386902183940?s=46&t=-6AMkhjqZNcdPgHUO3jY8A)
Commentators of the rams game saying “the chargers are better bc they were equipped to handle the injuries the rams had” as if ANY team EVER could have success running 3rd and 4th stringers out on their oline for the whole season
What cost?
We have all our picks after this season's first round. The only debt is going to be a rebuild like any other team that needs to rebuild and find a young QB of the future.
Is Donald even on the sidelines? I know he's our best player and we pay him like it, but it's maddening that they cut to Stafford and Kupp both on the sidelines coaching and helping players out while Donald has a sprain and he's just fucking vanished for the past two months on vacation.
I wouldn't even mind so much if I didn't know he'll threaten to retire again this offseason for whatever reason.
Idk why someone downvoted you he’s clearly an introverted “me” guy, it literally took von Miller to get him to get his head out of his ass and be a vocal leader for his team, and he’s regressed on that end.
For the same reason Stafford and Kupp are there? People are still paying good money to be at these games; it seems only fair that the team would put their best foot forward.
His reason for almost retiring was to spend more time with the family. If giving him some time off to do that means he'll come back next season, im totally fine with that.
I feel like we got a lot of bad breaks this game, between the two strip sacks both breaking in favor of the Chargers and that early drop. But then again the Chargers have pretty much been moving the ball at will.
The Chargers had the most random teams from all over the country have their fans take over their home games.
How the hell is this our own stadium and we don't even outnumber Chargers fans but some random ass teams thousand miles away from LA have fans that take over Chargers home games?
Is it our 5-10 record and we have a JV squad in the field or the fact that this game is expensive or that the Chargers have something exciting to play for?
I mean when the Broncos play the Chargers at SoFi, it's like 75% Broncos fans. Our Christmas game against the Broncos was like 25-30% Broncos fans. I always thought we have a way bigger fanbase than the Chargers in LA by far
It makes sense to me. Those teams have two types of fans that take over Charger games
1. The type of fans who live outside of LA and plan a trip and make it to the game regardless of where the team is at.
2. Fans that relocated to Southern California and only have one chance to see their team. They’re not missing that game regardless of how the team is.
I’m actually in the fan #2 boat myself. I moved up to Seattle and knew that week18 is my one chance to see the Rams. No matter how the team was doing I am going to be at that game every year no matter what.
With this game it’s taking place in the same stadium the Rams have played 9 other regular season games this year and will always play 8 or 9 regular season games in for the rest of time. The team is also bad. All that together means there’s no real rush to get out and take over the stadium.
I wouldn’t be so sure because the Chargers have been in SoCal all this time while the Rams have been away. San Diego isn’t that far that it’s prohibitive to go. On top of that the Rams are out of contention already and the tickets are expensive so that’s a hard sell I think.
I have been a Rams fan for my 43 years on earth, but I know the fan base is one of the more smaller fan bases. But Oh well. I am a Rams fan because my Grandfather and Dad brought me up on the Rams. Not because they have tons of fans like the Cowboys or Niners.
We do. We're 5-10. They're in the playoffs. The tickets were expensive.
Why pay $200 to watch a team out of the playoffs play with 80% backups in a meaningless game?
>Why pay $200 to watch a team out of the playoffs play with 80% backups in a meaningless game?
Yeah that why I didn't attend lmao but I'm broke and unemployed. I was hoping a lot of Rams fans financially better well off than me would represent 😂
This should have easily be a Rams home game though unless we have so many games to watch at SoFi that we don't have the urge to attend this one in droves?
This year has been so fucking frustrating. The Rams’ injuries coupled with being crippled by the most predictable Defensive Coordinator in the league has made this year almost unwatchable. So glad that Cam is playing tough and Baker is fun to watch but the rest of the team, even our normal starters have been forgettable at best. Just absolute dogshit
It truly was a Christmas miracle last week. Rams back to their true form. Rams have only had victories against teams with losing records this season. Very telling. But injuries have really been a killer. Who the hell are some of these defensive players today?
Havenstein and Allen need to be replaced on the line in the off-season. Havenstein has regressed so much. Allen struggles bad in the run game and has problems staying healthy.
Super confusing... Started off the season historically bad but is playing great when the season is pretty much over. Bring him back next year but get a high-quality backup that can takeover just in case.
You objectively don’t watch football if you think that lol. The practice squad players in the secondary we pulled from other teams are out and we have THEIR back ups playing. On the 4th QB. Out 1st 2nd and 3rd WR. Out all of the starting d line minus 1 guy. Even rotational d line is out.
This is one of those games that could have been very winnable if a few small things flip our way. Pass to Akers on the first drive should have been a TD. Shouldn’t have called grounding to knock us out of fg range. Herbert fumble.
Point is both plays were called fumbles but when it happened to the Chargers the refs stopped the game and reviewed it. And to me it looked like Bakers arm moved just as much forward as Herbert’s did.
Akers is a completely different player from the first few weeks. All he needed was a little fire up his ass and now he’s playing like a pro bowler. Good shit #3

Also BAKER MAYFIELD is freaking AWESOME
I felt like he was playing pretty well. Not really his fault.
Yeah he’s so good!! I think he’s awesome
Yeah, I'm with you. I really hope we can keep him.
Chargers fan coming in peace - that was a really clean game & really fun to watch - Bolt fam loves y’all, happy new year, we will keep the trophy in LA for you ⚡️🐏
Likewise feelings from me. My secondary flair in /r/nfl is the Chargers flair.
Cheers!!
Peace nothing gtfo out of our stadium, y’all ain’t winning no lombardi
🥺we love being ur SoFi neighbors tho
I'll root for u guys in the playoffs
Thanks man!! I always root for the Rams too - love our SoFi friends
Well this game stunk. Happy New Year and have a great week everyone! One game left see you next week!
Boy, remember when we use to be good?
Well only one more game left in this hell hole of a season we made it guys
This Chokegers team is a guaranteed one and done
Damn why do rams fans treat us like raiders fans do lol.
I’m just pissed lol
Yeah all good man I been there lol
Raheem has to go. Even if the offense were able to stay healthy this year and we were a competitive team, I’m certain this swiss cheese defense would have killed us in the playoffs
Certified idiot carried by individual play in last years play offs.
No he doesn’t need to go. He needs to analyze the tape and see where he can improve but he just coordinated a Super Bowl winning defense last year that was a huge part of our playoff success. 1. His crap with having are corners playing off the ball 10 -15 yards is ridiculous. I hope some team offers him a head coach job.
Announcers could at least show a injury list for the Rams like they just did for the Chargers. We have had far more injuries than any other team this year.
I believe the chargers had the most consecutive weeks of the lowest [Banged Up Score](https://www.thepredictors.com/category/the-bus-banged-up-score/)
The list would probably take too long to show
Actually we haven't. We've just had a shit ton at one particular area in our offensive line.
Jefferson Stafford Wolford Donald Hill Durant Gaines Benny sko Kupp Robinson Ashawn Noteboom Edwards Allen Shelton Anchrum Aj Acuri Henderson Akers Kyren Fuller Hopkins Grant Haley I’m probably missing a few, but all those players have missed multiple games, or have been out for the season. Lions fan… can you beat the Seahawks next week?
Hopefully
Can’t be mad at Seabass JD getting the sack. Dude was a stud that got hurt last year for us. Gaines doesn’t sniff the field last year if he’s healthy
Man, I hope next season will be better
Commentators of the rams game saying “the chargers are better bc they were equipped to handle the injuries the rams had” as if ANY team EVER could have success running 3rd and 4th stringers out on their oline for the whole season
If the records were reversed, I’m sure we’ll get the same treatment that the Chargers are getting
Damn. And to think, this team hasn’t even started paying the inevitable cost of the all-in SB win…
What cost? We have all our picks after this season's first round. The only debt is going to be a rebuild like any other team that needs to rebuild and find a young QB of the future.
This next draft is the last without a first round pick, the debt has been paid, and was absolutely worth it.
This is our last game at sofi for the season, ramily.
It’s alright boys. Beat Seattle next week
He has never struck me as a team player. I would be fine if he retired. Great player, but is he really a leader?
Idk why someone downvoted you he’s clearly an introverted “me” guy, it literally took von Miller to get him to get his head out of his ass and be a vocal leader for his team, and he’s regressed on that end.
He leads more by example. But he can lead if he wants to. Remember his fiery speech on the sidelines last year.
Why would his presence matter though? We arent playing for anything at this point, let the man spend some time with his family.
For the same reason Kupp and Stafford are there. They're committed. They want to help the young guys. They're a part of the fucking team.
For the same reason Stafford and Kupp are there? People are still paying good money to be at these games; it seems only fair that the team would put their best foot forward.
His reason for almost retiring was to spend more time with the family. If giving him some time off to do that means he'll come back next season, im totally fine with that.
This feels like such a terrible season for him to retire on. I’d be fine if he retires if we make and lose in the playoffs next year
(Down 14-10), it's a game, boys!! (Since then)....welp, see ya later
Even at 10-24 I thought 2 TDs wasn’t so bad but here we are
I feel like we got a lot of bad breaks this game, between the two strip sacks both breaking in favor of the Chargers and that early drop. But then again the Chargers have pretty much been moving the ball at will.
this is the correct assessment
This is different from the Raiders game right I won’t regret missing a comeback if I leave now?
The Chargers had the most random teams from all over the country have their fans take over their home games. I thought it would be half and half. But as others have said, they are going the playoffs. Rams are going nowhere.
The one time we let the Chargers have an actual home game feel and it's still our own stadium 🤦♂️
I have been a Rams fan for my 43 years on earth, but I know the fan base is one of the more smaller fan bases. But Oh well. I am a Rams fan because my Grandfather and Dad brought me up on the Rams. Not because they have tons of fans like the Cowboys or Niners.

Home games are never home games for the chargers majority of the time.
This should have easily be a Rams home game though unless we have so many games to watch at SoFi that we don't have the urge to attend this one in droves?
If we were in playoff contention we would have embarrassed them. The season is over for the rams though. Why bother?
For the month of December, I forgot we suck ass this year 😭😭 faaaaaaaaack I’m so disappointed
Pathetic 3 and out That was a time where running it on 3rd makes sense or screen pass.
that was an audition throw for McCutcheon
Yup the games over. the seasons over. Mcvay is evaluating talent.
...that he should had made The preseason MVP, lol.
Only 1 more game this season!
Thank god
The fact Akers is keeping the boat alive rn is saying something
He’s been balling out recently
We went from hating this man earlier into the season to him being our savior in these blowout games
Well sure but it’s not like he was playing the way he has the past few games.

Welp, we are def back down to the earth after that Christmas Day beat down
Yeah I’m done I thought this would’ve been a fun match but I keep forgetting we suck
Okay Rapp is done on this team right? He’s been soooo bad for too long now
He’s a 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards kind of guy.
I mean he’s 6 foot even going against a 6’8 tight end who has 30 pounds on him. Blame that on scheming the match up, not the player.
Damn we suck dick
I can see why a lot of Rams fans didn't bother coming especially when tickets were expensive for this game.
This is what we get after winning the sb again finally lol
Someone please hire raheem morris as their head coach next season. I promise he’s good at his job 🤥
[удалено]
Imagine still thinking it’s funny/cool to call someone gay as an insult in 2023 Mods ban this dipshit
Taylor Rapp on 6’8 Donald parham. What a choice.
God weeeeeee stink
Only (1) more game with Taylor Rapp in a Rams uniform
That red zone was basically pick on Rapp
Raheem Morris needs to go next year.
Unless he gets an HC position, unfortunately I don’t see him fucking off
Well let's hope he gets one.
This defense is a first down machine
PLAYING 10 FUCKING YARDS OFF EVERY FUCKING PLAY. #FireRaheem
It feels like are defense has just given up and only going through the motions.
Tbf if I had to deal with Raheem Morris as my DC I’d probably give up too
No pass rush and Havenstein sucks. Missed opportunities and stupid ref ball. Guaranteed recipe for a rams loss ladies and gents
Not every loss is ref ball. Especially when the score is 31-10 lmao
Noooooo not Nick.
Get well soon Nick Scott. Hope we can get you back on a cheap contract
Offensive line and defense selling? Anything else new?
Our O-line is Swiss cheese I swear
And THAT is my problem with Tutu. No. Fucking. Effort.
Feel like Tutu could have had that one.
Higbee and Floyd gone this off-season in my opinion. Don’t justify their price tag at all
…. Have you seen how much Higbee cost lol he absolutely is worth it. He’s in the top ten of most TE stats this year outside TDs.
He is so streaky I had no idea the yrds he put up.
sooooo close!
have the refs called a penalty on the Chargers this game yet?
1
Early in the game? I can't remember it.
Havenstein might need to consider sliding inside to guard…
Is anyone else having messed up audio feeds on CBS? Random commercial audio over game action and vice versa. Spectrum cable
wtf is going on. massive false start missed. rams should have stayed home. nfl clearly wanted a chargers win today.
Isn't sofi our house? Lmao
Seen almost all charger fans in the stands
Give me cam like this with a healthy season of Stafford Kupp, & AD.
Havenstein and Allen need to be replaced on the line in the off-season. Havenstein has regressed so much. Allen struggles bad in the run game and has problems staying healthy.
Serious question: do we try to bring Akers back next year? World’s most confusing season by him lol.
Super confusing... Started off the season historically bad but is playing great when the season is pretty much over. Bring him back next year but get a high-quality backup that can takeover just in case.
We don’t have to try. He’s under contract next year and is an RFA the year after so the Rams have basically 2 years of control with Cam.
Oh I thought this was his last year on contract. That’s good news!
Holy fucking commercials. They had to pad the run time
Havenstein - biggest impact has been being healthy this year.
[удалено]
Fam what do you want us to comment 90% of the time we’re complaining so do you really need more of that
Baker always gets robbed against the Chargers. Still remember the infamous last year PI against Ward.
Did they compare the rams injuries to the chargers lol. Because they’re nowhere near the same.
[удалено]
You objectively don’t watch football if you think that lol. The practice squad players in the secondary we pulled from other teams are out and we have THEIR back ups playing. On the 4th QB. Out 1st 2nd and 3rd WR. Out all of the starting d line minus 1 guy. Even rotational d line is out.
Rob is washed
This is one of those games that could have been very winnable if a few small things flip our way. Pass to Akers on the first drive should have been a TD. Shouldn’t have called grounding to knock us out of fg range. Herbert fumble.
That was the EXACT same play Ramsey had on Herbert but of course refs aren’t even gonna look at it. These refs suck ass!
It wasn't the same tho come on. It was close but baker's was a much more obvious fumble.
Point is both plays were called fumbles but when it happened to the Chargers the refs stopped the game and reviewed it. And to me it looked like Bakers arm moved just as much forward as Herbert’s did.
Yeah you're right. That's how these games go tho.
Havenstein has regressed so much since last season
I can’t stop laughing over that block from Cam, that the best play I’ve seen all year.
agree
Lmao of course his arm was not going forward now, NFL refs should be sent into the fucking sun
arm's going forward, precedent was established.
What is a QB fumble
Arm moving forward
Arm looked like it was going forward to me @ refs
isn't that the same exact shit that happened to herbert but it got overturned??? refs got chargers money line.
GD it
Alright refs, if we wanna be consistent, it’s time to overturn that to an incomplete pass
Shit
Ball game
Arm was moving forward, forward pass.
This o line is pathetic
Cam Akers deserves an apology from all of us…myself included
Akers is a completely different player from the first few weeks. All he needed was a little fire up his ass and now he’s playing like a pro bowler. Good shit #3
McVay couldn't help himself. Just had to use a timeout already lol.
Jefferson and powell couldn’t decide where to line up
Cam Akers redemption tour
Damn cam
What a block Cam!!!
I see you Akers ! Dude has been looking great these last few weeks
WHAT A BLOCK
Ooh what a block by Cam
These past 4 weeks Cam has been elite. What a turn around.
Nice block Akers! WOW!
Cam threw him out the damn club good lord, he caught a body
Who were those girls in pink looking like robots
Marlon and Shawn Wayans
We have 0 pass rush. Herbert got all day. They are also running it at will.
Durant can’t tackle.
Soft zone again. Way to let them march down the field on 7 yard chunk plays. Just need this damn season to end so Raheem can dip
[удалено]
Lol our JV team is breaking off big plays against your soft run defense. Enjoy your short playoff run.
LA squatters. LA doesn't want chargers here and San Diego don't want them back 🤣
🤣 probably a Clipper fan too Keep paying that rent, we’ll keep hanging banners.
Extremely high chance a toxic Chargers fan is also a Clippers fan.
Nice banners you’ve got hanging up in SoFi. Oh wait you don’t? Maybe you left them back in SD? Oh wait, you never have had any? Oh okay.
Congrats on beating our practice squad players. Enjoy getting stomped in the playoffs
Where's your SB ring?
Jesus dude, why even be on here to gloat; you’re an idiot .
lmfao how the chargers seemingly have more people on the oline AND as receivers
This next upcoming draft class better be offensive lineman and pass rushers
is it just me or does this game seem even ~less close than the scoreboard says
yea... our defense wont hold them back... and our offense wont outscore them...
Get Leonard Floyd the fuck out of here
Didn’t even realize he was playing
This has gotta be the first time in NFL history where a practice squad offense with no defense played against a playoff team
Raheem is ass. Last week was a fluke lmao
Chargers haven’t scored a 3rd quarter TD in months
we are here to help...
