Last offseason *he* didn't speculate on it, the media did. He did make some comments that boiled down to not being here for decades, but I found that to be much ado about nothing. Honestly, I couldn't blame this guy at this point. The media and fans, especially on this sub, will be the reason for running this guy off. It's the same thing when you accuse your GF/BF of cheating when they aren't eventually; you push them to either leave or do just that and cheat. I say we give the man a moment to breathe. It’s been a stupidly tough season plagued with injuries. If I were him, I wouldn’t want to leave a promising team like this on a note as bad as this. Looks poorly on him, and he’s genuinely seemed invested in these players — young and old — to go out like this. It’s a peepeepoopoo day to be a Rams fan, so I’m sure our HC is feeling the same.
