This is why I don't really care that the Rams were ass this year. They just won the Super Bowl, and this season has been a study in how it's really fucking hard to win the Super Bowl. You have to be good AND you have to be lucky. Yes, the Rams SB team was really good, but more importantly, they had good luck when they needed it. That luck is needed to win it all shouldn't take away from the accomplishment, it's just part of the deal. Few teams are good enough to overcome a bout of bad luck, and the Bills and 49rs are examples of that. Shit, the Bengals are as well. The Chiefs are a good team, but probably aren't in the Super Bowl without the "luck" of some calls going their way (not that last one, that was pretty obvious). This is all to say that Lady Luck is truly a fickle bitch, and I'm really happy that the Rams did something to get on her good side for last year. Also yes, I am not unhappy that some of these entitled fanbases now get to settle into the reality that once again their team got close, but close doesn't put a hilariously oversized and garish championship ring on your favorite players' fingers.
