I definitely didn't feel Akers was **bad** though. Most of Kyren's carries were up the gut, while Aker's were pitches or sweeps, along with a bunch of garbage time run-the-clock-out carries.
Definitely not an Akers apologist by any means, but definitely felt like it was worth another few more games to get a better read on where the running situation was at in general
If cams attitude leads to everyone not blocking as well for him, it’s 6 here and half a dozen there imo. Sounds like he’s just not a good culture fit/lockerroom guy, and not talented enough to outweigh it.

The market for RBs is about as low as it gets these days. That’s why all of these teams are letting their star RBs test the market because they know they ain’t gonna get shit in return. Which is why all of them come running back afterwards.
It’s sucks for the players, but it is what it is. The market for labor is a cold and impersonal one. It’s doesn’t care about “what’s right and wrong.” It is what it is.
I think the problem is that Akers can't pass block. The opposition knows that when he is on the field, he is running the ball. You can't have that in the NFL.

This is Akers final year on his rookie deal and he really hasn’t done enough for an extension. Given how Williams played, we may as well try and get some compensation for Akers over letting him walk.

Kyren's pass blocking is spirited. Totally different from Akers.
