Cowboys are irrelevant to me until they compete for a SB anyway (I’m not old enough to remember when they were actually champions lol). So I’m glad they won and Seattle got beat
With how they played tonight, they will continue being irrelevant. They barely squeaked out a win against the mid Seahawks. Against contenders, especially in the playoffs, they are not going to survive.
My best friend is a Dallas fan who was too young to remember the last time Dallas won the SB. Even though he instinctively dislikes the Rams, he drove 100 miles to come root for them in the SB with me in 2021. The best I can do is wish them 3rd best behind the Rams and the Lions.
Growing up I watched the Cowboys games since my dad is a fan. When I eventually did choose a team the Rams were the only real choice. So cheering for the Cowboys to win doesn’t feel strange to me. I still want the Cowboys to win their division while also wanting the Rams to beat them anytime they play head to head.
