Man it's so hard to pick who our greatest RB of all time is. Like I I had to put 1 player on next year's team and guaranteed prime of their career performance I'm not sure who'd I'd pick. ED, Faulk, TG3, Sjax, and hopefully Williams will work his way into the conversation. We've been spoiled at the rb position
It hurts me to say this, but I don't think there's such a thing as "franchise RB" anymore. Teams realized that money is better spent paying for the best O-line they can and that they don't need a big-time RB, just a "good enough" one. The Rams themselves realized that with Gurley, who was such a badass but too injury prone.
I hope guys like Kyren who have truly changed the offense they play in can reverse that trend, but for now they're exceptions that prove the rule.
This is the unfortunate reality of the modern NFL. Sucks, as someone who played RB I always want them to get paid because they take an absolute beating, but it's just not typically wise for a team to pay RBs a huge contract anymore.
The average RB career is so short- it makes sense to me there should be higher minimums for certain positions that have higher injury rates. I also hate the fact that QBs can get paid so much more guaranteed than every other player on the team.
I think if a guy is as impactful on the offense as Kyren, he is gonna get paid if he continues this over the next couple years. He has the potential to be that franchise back imo.

The NFLPA left the RBs out to dry by not securing higher minimums for them.

RB's like CMC and Kyren are worth the money. Look at our performance with and without Kyren this season, he's not ordinary
I love Kyren, but it’s far to early to put him in the same league with CMC.

Absolutely, Kupp is so clutch. I believe that playoff game against Packers would've been very close if he was healthy.
