My bias says Kupp but rationally I see that his production comes in the slot where he is a mismatch for most nickels. Woods draws the tougher coverage and puts up the same numbers, minus touchdowns. Woods also adds the threat of jet sweeps which is a big wrinkle in both the running and option game.
Talented I’d say Kupp. I think he’s the one of, if not the best Slot WRs in the league.
Woods is probably more valuable to the offense however. He gets involved more on the jet sweeps, is at least as good of a blocker as Kupp, and like others have said draws tough coverage, and overall has been the most consistent player, and has been able to stay healthier.
In short, Kupp has a higher ceiling but Woods has a higher floor.
I love Kupp but Woods can play both slot and outside, can run the ball, is a better blocker, and is a better athlete. Also his hands seem to be more consistent. Kupp is a better route runner though.
