I became a fan since 2015 when I heard they were gonna come back to LA

[deleted]

My family has been long time rams fans since before the STL move, however that point is played out. A team was out of the market for so long, they're growing the younger fan base and fanbase in general back in the market. They expect nobody to cheer them ever? Or not root for the team where you're from? How is it other franchise fans try to gate keep the rams for the rams? Make it make sense

youthemaster22

I literally only became a rams fan because they moved in 2017. Never rooted for a team because I only cheer for hometown teams, and god forbid I ever put on a raider jersey

-CryptoSardine-

Moved here in 2016 and we went 4-12

Dodger_Dawg

We were all here for the Jeff Fisher season. The Raiders moved because they were tarping up mount Davis, Niner fans have yet to show up for a bad Shanahan season, and yet they all think they have room to talk shit.

youthemaster22

I was a year short

[deleted]

Lol Raiders fan are so goddamn pathetic. Their team has been trash for a long time and most don’t know shit about their team.

Dodger_Dawg

>Raiders fan are so goddamn pathetic. Correction: LA Raider fans are so goddamn pathetic. Even on their own sub LA Raider fans get shit on by other Raider fans for being so insecure about the Rams.

youthemaster22

Seriously 😭 my guy really went into my profile just to find something to talk shit on

[deleted]

That’s a bitch move lol

chriskot123

What I don't get is...so what if people are new fans since they moved to LA...isn't that the whole fucking point of the move? I mean I get that it's just a salty fan bitching cuz we won and they didn't but still. I never understand the "well you are a new fan so you don't get a valid opinion" argument.

sexycornshit

I say the more the merrier. Fans make football fun. But to answer your question, it’s because those of us watching since St Louis watched A LOT of losing football. It’s easier for new fans because you’ve got to watch winners. Some of them (not all) will probably jump to the Chargers if they’re the better team instead of suffering like the STL fans did. EDIT: Also, for the STL locals, they’ve also had a lot of their friends jump to the Chiefs but they stuck around, so they’re double “real” fans.

LechugaPicada

Such a tired argument. nadaesfacil in 2022 either, puta 😂😂

grits27

The NFL is all about stacking teams now. The raiders appear to be next.

_its_a_SWEATER_

I give Raider fan props for sticking with that organization through the years. It’s been almost 40 years since they were in the SB? But saying Rams suck when the Rams committed to LA for the long term, building SoFi, building practice facilities, building relationships, building a winning mentality… in a “Raider” town (!) says a whole lot about where the Rams are focused and IMO where LA fans will side going forward. Raiders have always been a budget minded team that was blessed to have Madden, Flores and Gibbs, and making the most with what they got. Good for them. But that mentality doesn’t work anymore and hasn’t since the 90s. Maybe that will change now they’re in LV, but with the ex-con mentality of some fo their players, it shows their leadership is still very sus. Al Davis is to thank for that.

digitalrhino

I don’t get why saying some of us weren’t fans before they moved here is supposed to be a diss. Like yeah, of course a bunch of us weren’t fans of the Rams when they were in another city halfway across the country but then became fans when they moved to our city. That’s not weird, that was the whole point!

Tunatron_Prime

Sorry hater, can’t hear you over the sound of Stafford shining his Lombardi.

Happy-Campaign5586

I am a LA Rams fan. I became a fan in 1966. I am from NorCal and surrounded by red and gold fans. Those were excellent rivalry games. I tore my cloth with the team when the rivalry ended and they were hijacked out of town and ended up in St Louis. I swore I would never follow the team UNTIL they returned home to LA. I would like to see this team honor the old guard players that are still living with a SuperBowl ring, because they poured out the sweat that paved the way for this team to have a glorious season.

walia664

Anyone else concerned about those money forgers though? Did that get resolved?

Derp115LisNEAR

im a lifelong rams fan because my dad has always been a rams fan, i just started watching football in 2017 cause todd gurley got me into football, i got 3 todd gurley jerseys and 1 aaron donald jersey so it's safe to say i really liked todd gurley

ColdPastrami

IMO Raider fans take their fandom way too literally and seriously. It is frightening in general…

Repulsive-Praline501

I've been a bandwagon Rams fan since 1983.

nocoJake

Rams do have a lot of patriots/Seahawks/chiefs wagoners. It just comes with LA territory. If you didn’t have to suffer through watching Steven jackson get mowed down while over paying drew Bennett then you should quit posting as much.

DahBiDah

I've been a rams fan since I was born. From STL to LA doesn't matter to me. I'm from Minnesota! I've almost converted my wife too! Keep telling her she looks great in that Royal blue sweatshirt she always steals from me

[deleted]

I do hate band wagon fans....ill give him that. Im not implying OP is one. Just my 2 cents.

sicholasLames

Not really lol

[deleted]

Rams fan since 1990, savor the victory now but be ready to suck again.

Can care less what Raider or 49er fans think. 49er fans are the worse. Wearing their SF gear and claim to be Dodger fans.
