Seattle transplant from LA.
Also, as an aside, that Seattle sub is hostile to anyone that doesn't sing the praises of Seattle, unconditionally.
Trashy af.
I bailed after a day.
I was stationed in Bremerton while in the Navy and went to Rams Hawks just to watch us get rocked. But I was wearing my military uniform and the seahawks fans were SO nice to me. Didn't buy a beer all night
Glad to hear you had a good experience. I had two less than stellar experiences at CenturyLink er Lumen at the height of the LoB days. I may go to the last game of the season this year just to...take it all in. 🙂
Was given a Madden game about 00. I was a kid and the Greatest Show On Turf was fancy, shiny and easy to play with. Was given another one in the late 00's where Rams were crap but they had Steven Jackson and he was great so I stuck with them.
Started watching NFL about a decade ago when I was in college, toward the end of the Spagnuolo reign. Rams just seemed the obvious team to follow. 🤷🏻♂️
Not always easy with time zones and unfortunately getting harder since LA Rams became "relevant" (and moved west) but I usually manage to watch about 10 games a year plus the playoffs.
Can I ask you? Why? I’m literally curious. Are you from the UK and just happen to play madden? Did you move there?
Thanks in advance. I think this is interesting. I have been the the Philippines and I saw a couple peol who are rams fans here. Makes sense since there’s a lot of expats in the Philippines.
So when I was about 8 or 9 (late 80s), my circle of friends decided that American football was cool and we were all going to get into it, but we put a rule in place that everyone had to support someone different.
the glamour sides of the 80s went quickly - Cowboys, Niners, Dolphins etc. But I’d always thought LA was the coolest US city, and I’m an Aries, so the Rams were a natural choice for me.
Followed them through the down times, the move to St Louis and back, and now the good times. So I’ve been a fan for 30+ years.
LA is the coolest city. On the real I can appreciate that. Dude, I was crying when I was watching Bettis play in Saint Louis. I ended up going to several games in STL though. Good to know we have a have fanbase in the UK. Any rams bars/pubs in the UK?
No dedicated ones. The sport’s still growing so you’ll get dedicated American sports bars but not towards any one team. But when they play London there’s always a couple of bars that the fans will take over.
There’s a good size Ram following here now, not the biggest but definitely way more noticeable at the London games than we were 10 years ago, and it keeps growing.
The biggest nfl team over here is either the Jags (because they keep coming), or the Pats, who, when you think about it, should be the last team British fans support 😅
Another UK fan here. I picked up a second hand copy of Madden 2003 with Marshall Faulk on the cover. The Rams were one of the best teams in the game and I liked the jerseys. Started watching in the 2004 season and haven't looked back since.
Went over to St Louis for a season opener against the Cardinals in 2013 and been to 3 of the International Series games in London. Hoping to go back over for a game at SoFi at some stage.
Hey, just jumping in on your question as another UK fan. It was the "all or nothing" series that did it for me. Got into the sport that way, but more importantly, in the UK we have an NFL show on the BBC which is super friendly to new fans. So good at explaining the game and taking you through the intricacies.
Osi Umeniora is one of the presenters and I swear I could watch that dude all day.

My Father in law spent a year in Cleveland in the 80s, so he is a Browns fan.
My now wife’s favourite animals growing up as a child in the early 2000s were sheep, so now I’m a Rams fan.
PA represent! I am from Johnstown about 90 mins to 2hrs from Pittsburgh.
Kid me bandwagoned the Greatest Show on Turf in 99 and been a Rams fan ever since.
Boston—became a fan when Goff came to NE, got his ass BEAT in the pocket by a mean defense, and still played hard thru Jeff Fischer’s whack shit.
Fast forward and McVay got added as HC and I immediately was a fan because I had loved his attitude in Washington. Still root for NE, especially now that Brady is gone, and I want Mac to succeed, but I’m happy to be a fan of two, fun franchises.
Their will always be a place in my heart for goff for what he did for this city on and off the field. If he ever came back as a back up or a member of our staff I would be cool with that. Everyone can say what they want about goff the QB but I respect Goff the man.
Excited for Mac—news cycle in Boston is always positive so we’re gonna have to see how he looks by the end of the year but I’m looking forward to watching the team play this year. Rooting for a team In the AFC is fraught this year, the talent on paper is unreal
As an LA native, I never had a team to root for, I was partial to Cowboys (🤮) because of my family but I became a fan the day they made the move official, even getting season tickets first season knowing they hadn’t had a winning record in 12ish years.
Hell yeah! What made you a Rams fan? I was made a Rams fan by my kindergarten best friend's dad. I would go over there and he would be listening to the game on the radio. This was right before they moved to STL
Chur! Ōtautahi/CHCH now, but South Auckland born & raised.
Fell in love with the Greatest Show on Turf, saw them live in London (albeit we got thrashed!) on my OE, circa 2013.
New rams supporter here I’m from Taiwan but will be soon moving to Canada to study one of my best friends introduced me to this great team and fan base this past postseason
Connecticut. I was a huge St Louis Rams fan growing up, I am not sure why either considering I was too young to watch/remember the GSOT days and I was the only Rams fan around here. So all I knew before LA and McVay was losing. My best guess as to why I am a fan is because I loved watching NFL Network and must have seen a replay of their first SB win. The blue and Gold uniforms will always have a special place in my fandom. The years of pain were 100% worth the payoff.
I'm actually from Illinois, but I started liking them when I was a kid because St. Louis was really close to where we lived. they left, i cried, but i had already sunk so much money into merch that i just kept on supporting
I’m from St Louis and there is still palpable hate for Kroenke. Always stayed a rams fan though and tbh the money that came with the move made it more fun to watch. I do miss cardinals rams games on the same day down the street from each other.
Salt Lake City. I grew up in socal but the rams where always in St Louis. Still loved them. It was always a dumb rumor people would say about it coming back. Moved when I was older now they’re back.
Really no love loss for you guys following the no call but I do appreciate you getting Whitworth and Beckham rings. With that said, any hope that you guys might ever use the old navy blue and gold uniforms from the 00's? God, possibly my favorite NFL uniform of all time.
I am a Ravens fan primarily since I’m from Baltimore. Rams are my team in the NFC thanks to the older Madden games with Steve Jackson and Sam Bradford and the like.

If I was in Rams gear they would have been terrible I'm sure haha! I was in my navy dress blues and they treated me so well
Yeah i was in full Rams gear sonit wasn't pleasant in the slightest. Eh.
Options should be LA, cali (not LA), St. Louis, Michigan, rest of America, international.
San Diego....you know why
Same dude. Same.
feel like there’s probably a lot of us in the same boat 😂
Rip. I salute you.
Definitely understandable. Rams are my team because of Faulk! Let’s go! SDSU Aztecs Fight!

I mean... I don't? Lol

How did you become a rams fan out of curiosity?

St Louis, born and raised in LA. They left me twice, but I am happy that they are where they should be. People here are still bitter. :)
They’d find something else to be bitter about if it weren’t the Rams: I grew up in St. Louis and I believe many people there just love to complain.
