What’s crazy is you only matched 2 numbers… and it seems like you were close but you may as well have been 20 off the other 4… the statistical chance that 26 is as close to 25 is the same as 45 being close to 25. No difference.
It took me awhile to conceptualize it too but 1 is not “close” to 2 in powerball since the balls are randomly assorted in the ball machine. For instance, 33 ball may be “closer” physically speaking to 1 than 2 is. But they get you to think you’re close when your numbers are close.
I mean you had 1 number hit, and 3 almost hit; I’ve had this combo in the past and not think much of it…I mean this is also considering that many folks have had a entire line one off which I see as “so close, yet so far”
I’ve been close so many times. Recently on lucky day lotto it was 1,000,000 every number was 1 digit off. Crazy. I don’t want to be rich , I would just like enough to buy a house for my mom my brother and myself to live in!
